Hotel berhampiran Delos Synagogue, Mykonos

Exceptional, beautiful, faultless! We were absolutely blown away by the high standard of service, cleanliness and attention to detail of this stunning hotel. We stayed for 7 nights, bed and breakfast. Arrival: Upon arrival, we were greeted with a watermelon mocktail, a steamed hot cloth and small hand sanitiser bottle. Friendly staff gave us a map of the town and useful information about taxis and restaurants etc. before escorting us to our room; helping to carry our luggage. Room: The room was spotless, gorgeous decor of crisp white sheets with pops of colour in the rug and artwork. Posh coffee machine. Complimentary bottle of local wine and snacks. Luxury toiletries in the bathroom (which were regularly topped up/ replaced). Arrived at night time but waking up to fully take in our surroundings and sea view in the sunshine was amazing (which by the way, was a free upgrade from a garden room). The cleaning staff were brilliant, always friendly and replaced any towels when left on the floor. Facilities: Again, spotlessly clean walkways and communal areas. Contemporary reception/ lobby area with many comfy seating areas. The pool area was gorgeous, fresh towel station for whenever yours got too soggy. Super comfortable sun beds with thick double beds over the edge of the pool. Staff regularly walk around to ask if you’d like a drink or food. Chilled house music in the background. If you bought spirits, you’d get complimentary nuts and crisps too. Breakfast: 5* is an understatement. I’ve previously stayed in 5* Riu hotels and Kyma knocks them out the park. As it’s much smaller than massive Riu hotels, the attention to detail and service is amazing. The options were amazing including vegetarian and vegan options. The yoghurt and granola station was the best I’ve experienced out of about six 5* Greek hotels I’ve been to before. Fresh coffee and juice straight to your table as well as Prosecco daily!!! We thought it might have been for special guests or someone with a birthday, nope. All guests. Every morning! We would take our glass of Prosecco after breakfast to the shaded lounge area with sofas by the pool to relax. Other: All staff were so helpful and friendly. I had a wonderful back massage one afternoon and we shared a couple’s experience of the spa dipping in all 5 pools with different temperatures and oils. They even took us to the spa in a golf buggy to save us walking uphill. Worth every penny and will 100% return in future!

Besides preparing delicious cocktails it was the only one in all Mykonos to make us an itinerary of places/ beaches/ places to visit and where you can eat well, which is missing in Mykonos because there are no guides, PR, posters or brochures (in hotels) They tell you what to see or what to do, you have to find everything yourself and end up making mistakes, so thank Peppe that helped us a lot! Experience I would repeat

The pool area is amazing ,lovely bar and sun loungers,the rooms were spotless very clean, breakfast was very nice but same every day,very good location 10 minutes to the centre but coming back to the hotel might be a bit hard as there are some steps even though we didn't find it difficult but you can get a taxi back for 10 Euros ,The staffs are super helpful especially Eva and Akis (Theophilos) who picked us up from airport and took us back both very friendly and helpful ,we had a great time and highly recommend this hotel , excellent staffs and if I come back to Mykonos will definitely stay at Petinaros again ,Eva and Akis made our stay more enjoyable THANK YOU .

I stayed in this hotel, twice this year for 2 and 1 nights respectively. The first time it was early February and the second time on March 1st. The overall experience was amazing and the hotel is sparkling as a diamond. The reception desk is the friendliest and most professional I have met in my professional life and I have stayed in hundreds of hotels around Europe. The design of the hotel is a landmark of architecture, style and elegance. Rooms are very beautifully decorated, well equipped, warm (I visited the hotel in the middle of the winter) . The shower has a massage and water jet function which is very soothing and relaxing (especially after a hard day's work). Lighting is war and relaxing, while the hotel offered LG OLED and iphone/ Bose charger,base, speaker. After an amazing sleep , I discovered next morning that the hotel is using the best, handcrafted, natural mattresses of Coco Mat. Linen is of highest quality and spotlessly clean. The breakfast was also on the same level as the rest of hotel. Usually a continental hotel breakfast is boring, but not this time. The omelet was a traditional greek recipe implemented beautifully, the coffee was fantastic , the traditional greek pies were generous and delicious on the buffet. The location of the hotel is amazing, literally overlooking the Chora of Mykonos, providing the guests the opportunity to enjoy live the most iconic Mykonos view. It is a 2 minutes walk from Mykonos seafront promenade.

Truly the best service I have experienced at a fine hotel. The riviera sets the bar high and exceeded our expectations in so many ways. Every staff member was kind, knowledgeable and helpful - day in and day out. They anticipated our needs before we even realized what we needed, and were so helpful and accomodating. Thank you for making our trip so incredible and memorable!

Séjour de 4 nuits dans la suite de l'hôtel, terrasse et vue parfaite. Le personnel est très agréable, de l'accueil, aux services et aux personnels de ménage. Les chambres sont faites et le linge est changé tous les jours. La localisation est un peu excentrée, mais des navettes seabus pour le vieux port sont toutes proches et si besoin le personnel peut vous trouver une location. Le restaurant est de bon rapport qualité-prix et propose un menu tendance asiatique et des sushis délicieux.

Eleni’s village suites was on the last leg of our tour of the Islands in Greece. We arrived in the afternoon and took a transfer(36 euros for 3 people) from the port. One can easily take the local bus which would cost about 1,80 to 2,30 euros, but we didn’t know that then. We were welcomed at the village suites by Ewe and were shown to our accommodation. This was the only place where we stayed that had a stove, cookware, cutlery cups, coffee maker etc. This meant that we could actually prepare meals as eating out in restaurants in Greece can become very expensive as our rand(zar) was 1/20 against the euro. The accommodation was close to the local bus stop. Just down the road was a supermarket which was very inexpensive and we bought all the necessary stuff to have a decent meal which cost less than 15 euros and that was enough for 3 people. Where we paid for a steak 18 euro at the restaurant on the corner. Even though the suites r close enough to the port it is not close enough to walk. We also were served a complimentary buffet breakfast the 2 mornings that we were there. Lovely fruit, cereals, breads, cookies, coffee and juice. U could eat as much as u wanted. We took the bus down to the port and explored Mykonos, old city and little Venice. The area was beautiful. Lots of restaurants along the walkways and the beach. U could also swim . Eleni’s Village suites were very clean and comfortable. WiFi was good especially to connect with family at home. Unfortunately there were no pool at the place as it was quite warm. The surrounding area is quite dry and looks very rural.

Overall, I enjoyed my stay at Myconian. The staff are super friendly & welcoming. That makes the experience great! We stayed on the 4th floor. So a little stairs required to climb (if you have mobility challenges, please request for a floor that have direct lift access). The compound is beautiful! Especially the view from the balcony is really impressive. We got the room that gets to see the sunset by the sea. The room is clean. We bumped into the housekeeper & she really cleans (pull out all pillow case & blanket cover) everyday! They change the towels during the room clean up & sun down service. If you need a kettle, you have to request from the housekeeping. Water from tap is not drinkable. Only 2 bottles of water is provided per evening after 7pm. Otherwise, you have to use the mini bar or call for room service. Otherwise, it was a beautiful stay.

I have traveled all over the world but this by far topped any hotel so far Wish we stayed longer but my mistake on that Drinks food service all top notch. Thank you to the entire staff but I want to point out 2 that stood out the most Maya and Dionisis you made our stay more enjoyable. Everytime we saw you at breakfast or later that evening at the bar you made us feel so good. Maya you were the greatest hostess we could have had. We spend 4 days there after an offer from Secret Escapes that looked good. The Hotel had only been opened a week before we arrived (no mention of that in the Secret Escapes offer) and it was DEFINITELY not ready. Lovely bar space but not open. The restaurant was, at best, average (had the worst pizza ever there, as the choice of dishes was limited) and certainly not a 4 star. Short of staff even though the ones available did their best to compensate. Definitely need a car to go anywhere which, in Mykonos, is very expensive. Taxi to Mykonos town 45 euros. Not a lot near by apart of two beach bars/restaurants with high prices. We we recommended to go the Ano Mera, a small village, 20 euros ride away, as the choice of food and atmosphere in the hotel was poor. Lots of touristy restaurants there but not very good. (see restaurant reviews). Michelle, the manager, was excellent and did her best and so did the two lovely receptionist (both 3rd year students of the Tourist college in Athens, not what you expect for a 4* hotel). The boy that served the food in the restaurant doubled up as drink waiter in the bar ( if you insisted) and luggage handler together with the girl receptionists!!! Our room was a large suit with an outdoor jacuzzi but needed a lot of work still doing to it. Perhaps this time next year it will be a good place to stay but Secret Escapes should be a lot more careful what the offer. Not to mention we found out that we cold have had a better deal even directly with the hotel.
