Exceptional, beautiful, faultless! We were absolutely blown away by the high standard of service, cleanliness and attention to detail of this stunning hotel. We stayed for 7 nights, bed and breakfast. Arrival: Upon arrival, we were greeted with a watermelon mocktail, a steamed hot cloth and small hand sanitiser bottle. Friendly staff gave us a map of the town and useful information about taxis and restaurants etc. before escorting us to our room; helping to carry our luggage. Room: The room was spotless, gorgeous decor of crisp white sheets with pops of colour in the rug and artwork. Posh coffee machine. Complimentary bottle of local wine and snacks. Luxury toiletries in the bathroom (which were regularly topped up/ replaced). Arrived at night time but waking up to fully take in our surroundings and sea view in the sunshine was amazing (which by the way, was a free upgrade from a garden room). The cleaning staff were brilliant, always friendly and replaced any towels when left on the floor. Facilities: Again, spotlessly clean walkways and communal areas. Contemporary reception/ lobby area with many comfy seating areas. The pool area was gorgeous, fresh towel station for whenever yours got too soggy. Super comfortable sun beds with thick double beds over the edge of the pool. Staff regularly walk around to ask if you’d like a drink or food. Chilled house music in the background. If you bought spirits, you’d get complimentary nuts and crisps too. Breakfast: 5* is an understatement. I’ve previously stayed in 5* Riu hotels and Kyma knocks them out the park. As it’s much smaller than massive Riu hotels, the attention to detail and service is amazing. The options were amazing including vegetarian and vegan options. The yoghurt and granola station was the best I’ve experienced out of about six 5* Greek hotels I’ve been to before. Fresh coffee and juice straight to your table as well as Prosecco daily!!! We thought it might have been for special guests or someone with a birthday, nope. All guests. Every morning! We would take our glass of Prosecco after breakfast to the shaded lounge area with sofas by the pool to relax. Other: All staff were so helpful and friendly. I had a wonderful back massage one afternoon and we shared a couple’s experience of the spa dipping in all 5 pools with different temperatures and oils. They even took us to the spa in a golf buggy to save us walking uphill. Worth every penny and will 100% return in future!

Besides preparing delicious cocktails it was the only one in all Mykonos to make us an itinerary of places/ beaches/ places to visit and where you can eat well, which is missing in Mykonos because there are no guides, PR, posters or brochures (in hotels) They tell you what to see or what to do, you have to find everything yourself and end up making mistakes, so thank Peppe that helped us a lot! Experience I would repeat

Truly the best service I have experienced at a fine hotel. The riviera sets the bar high and exceeded our expectations in so many ways. Every staff member was kind, knowledgeable and helpful - day in and day out. They anticipated our needs before we even realized what we needed, and were so helpful and accomodating. Extremely wonderful hotel. Perfect experience. Great host, service, food, drinks, and room. Again, the food is very, very good! Everything is clean. Room was wonderful with the small pool on balcony. We got engaged at the hotel our second night in! The hotel staff helped so much to prepare us a special occasion. We can easily say this is the best hotel we have had the pleasure to stay in. Matthew is exceptionally friendly and has the skills of a high level waiter/bartender/all the above. Front desk always smiling and accommodating. Cleaning lady very friendly. 100% recommend for anyone.

We spent a wonderful week at Nimbus. Before visiting I saw all the reviews raving about the amazing customer service. They weren’t wrong. The staff at the hotel were so genuine and friendly and definitely the best customer service I’d experienced in a while! Thank you to all the amazing staff! Breakfast was very filling as well as other meals we ate at the hotel. Very delicious. Rooms were kept very clean. Staff was always ready to help with activities and arranging a car. This is a wonderful boutique hotel, perfect for someone looking for a slightly more calm vibe. Pool was most of the time half empty, so it wasn’t hard to find a place to lay in the sun. Infinity pool had great views. Really loved everything about this trip!!!!

We loved our stay in this hotel! The staff were amazing. Special mention to Joseph the driver, alway happy, informative, a real asset to the hotel. Claudia In concierge was also superb, thank you. Pool staff very attentive as were restaurant staff. Hotel amenities were great although I would not call our bedroom 5 star, bathroom rather tired and in need of upgrade. Pool restaurant was good as was the main dining room, although I felt it was rather overpriced for what you got. One bug bear was if you ask for a single glass of red wine in the restaurant it arrives COLD! That’s a complete no no. Please do something about that. I know it’s minor but nothing worse than cold red wine! Thank you for our relaxing break. We loved it at St John. All in all a lovely hotel and I would not hesitate to come back.

I’ve been coming here for 5 years. It has a perfect location, very close to Platys gialos beach. It’s a modern hotel with beautiful rooms. The staff was always helpful and friendly. They always assisted us with all our needs. The accommodations were lovely and comfortable. We truly enjoyed our stay. Lovely bar and pool. We are delighted to recommend this hotel to anyone who is considering a visit to Mykonos.

I have traveled all over the world but this by far topped any hotel so far Wish we stayed longer but my mistake on that Drinks food service all top notch. Thank you to the entire staff but I want to point out 2 that stood out the most Maya and Dionisis you made our stay more enjoyable. Everytime we saw you at breakfast or later that evening at the bar you made us feel so good. Maya you were the greatest hostess we could have had. We spend 4 days there after an offer from Secret Escapes that looked good. The Hotel had only been opened a week before we arrived (no mention of that in the Secret Escapes offer) and it was DEFINITELY not ready. Lovely bar space but not open. The restaurant was, at best, average (had the worst pizza ever there, as the choice of dishes was limited) and certainly not a 4 star. Short of staff even though the ones available did their best to compensate. Definitely need a car to go anywhere which, in Mykonos, is very expensive. Taxi to Mykonos town 45 euros. Not a lot near by apart of two beach bars/restaurants with high prices. We we recommended to go the Ano Mera, a small village, 20 euros ride away, as the choice of food and atmosphere in the hotel was poor. Lots of touristy restaurants there but not very good. (see restaurant reviews). Michelle, the manager, was excellent and did her best and so did the two lovely receptionist (both 3rd year students of the Tourist college in Athens, not what you expect for a 4* hotel). The boy that served the food in the restaurant doubled up as drink waiter in the bar ( if you insisted) and luggage handler together with the girl receptionists!!! Our room was a large suit with an outdoor jacuzzi but needed a lot of work still doing to it. Perhaps this time next year it will be a good place to stay but Secret Escapes should be a lot more careful what the offer. Not to mention we found out that we cold have had a better deal even directly with the hotel.

Excellent venue if you are looking for a hotel away from all the party / noise / crowds. It’s also in a safe and walkable area with grocery store, bakery, many nearby restaurant options and beachfront bars/restaurants. The staff (Filippa & George & cleaning staff) are so welcoming and friendly. They all work so hard to keep the property very clean and perfect condition. The rooms are very spacious and comfortable bed. Our suite also had a private patio which overlooked the water, very romantic and perfect for enjoying the complimentary breakfast that is delivered to your door. Waves is about a 10min safe walk to Ornos beach which you can sit in the sand, swim & rent sun beds. You can also simply take the water taxi from Ornos beach to multiple other southern beaches. This is a superb way to see more if the island without renting a car plus you get many more picturesque moments. Single beach round trip €15 each person or unlimited beach round trips €20 each person. We chose to only go to SUPER paradise beach for 1 day and this was an excellent choice. Read my review about THALAS TAVERN & BEACH. This was much much cheaper than alternatives and excellent food/sun beds at reasonable prices. Ornos and Super are southern so it’s not windy. Mykonos is a windy island (mostly from north during our stay), it is famous for this but most of the wind we found cooled us down from all the sunny heat so I would not complain about this at all…This hotel sits at a famous windsurfing and kite boarding beach…relax at the pool and watch these people launch off the waves 20-40 feet in the air. It’s amazing!!! This hotel even offers complimentary transfers (pick up / drop off) from and to the airport, port and their other hotel locations which is closer to downtown Mykonos if you want to your the streets and party. We stayed 4 unforgettable nights here and loved every moment of this part of our Greece adventure.

NNomad05718661342We loved this hotel. The welcome was very warm and overall, the service was very good. The views from the hotel are wonderful, across to the old port and the new one too. Watching the boats go in and out and the white capped waves was lovely. Our room was great – a deluxe with plunge pool (room 101) – it was spacious, with a nice terrace and pool to enjoy the sunshine until late afternoon. Nicely furnished with a big comfortable coco mat bed/pillows and good shutters, ensured we slept well. The main outdoor pool is stunning, a huge infinity pool that seems to connect to the ocean below. There were lots of comfy sunbeds, although the ones around the pool weren’t adjustable. The Reeza restaurant area is nice, and we enjoyed lunch and a wonderful dinner too, possibly one of the best of our holiday. The food quality was excellent and George’s wine advice was on point and made the whole evening very special. Breakfast was ‘OK’ – food choices were pretty standard; orange juice wasn’t freshly squeezed, and the coffee wasn’t great. Why don’t hotels of this quality take more care of the coffee they serve? The gym/yoga shala was nice and the views across the ocean truly stunning. The lack of a/c and no ability to turn off the music playing outside was a shame. It was also quite dusty on the floor and on the machines. Talking of music, the style was rather inconsistent and some of it was rather strange and rather loud at times when you were eating or wanting an afternoon snooze by the pool. The hotel location is good. It’s a 10-minute taxi ride into the main town, although taxi availability and prices are very high. There is a nice little beach nearby and a small supermarket about 5-10 mins walk away too. Overall, it’s nicely designed, with unique touches like the cactus everywhere makes it feel unique.

We stayed on the 4th floor. So a little stairs required to climb (if you have mobility challenges, please request for a floor that have direct lift access).
The compound is beautiful! Especially the view from the balcony is really impressive. We got the room that gets to see the sunset by the sea.
The room is clean. We bumped into the housekeeper & she really cleans (pull out all pillow case & blanket cover) everyday! They change the towels during the room clean up & sun down service.
If you need a kettle, you have to request from the housekeeping. Water from tap is not drinkable. Only 2 bottles of water is provided per evening after 7pm. Otherwise, you have to use the mini bar or call for room service.
Otherwise, it was a beautiful stay.

PPengguna TetamuOur stay at Hotel Alkyon was for 2days. The courtesy of the staff over here was Excellent. They helped us in understanding on how to explore Mykonos. All rooms of Hotel Alkyon was sea facing and the evening sunset at his hotel was super cool. It was near to all attractions of mykonos. The wind mills, Panagia Paraportiani , and Street Market was just 10 mins walkable distance.We enjoyed our stay at Alkyon very much . Thank you team

RRamonWe recently stayed here and had a wonderful experience. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, making us feel welcome from the moment wr arrived. The room was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. The location was great, close to everything we wanted to see and do. The breakfast buffet was great with plenty of choices. I highly recommend staying here for a comfortable and enjoyable stay while in Greece. There are a maze of options but you will do yourself a favour by staying here.

PPengguna TetamuThis is such a beautiful hotel with amazing views of the island! The staff where extremely friendly and accommodating which made our stay very enjoyable. I had a bit of an issue with my room when I checked in but they more than made up for it by upgrading us to a lovely spacious suite with Jacuzzi. It was my birthday and they helped make it extra special by decorating the room with rose petals and balloons and even helped my boyfriend get a cake! It was a very memorable trip and I would definitely come back!

New and gorgeous room! Private soaker pool was perfect! Food from room service was all we had and didn't bother to explore Mykonos due to the luxury right there in our room! We got lucky on this room and would highly recommend if you're looking to have some of the most unforgettable and relaxing moments of your life. But if you're there to explore Mykonos, you may want to choose somewhere not as nice as you will not want to leave your villa. The people were quick and friendly and there to assist at any time. Truly was an amazing experience all around!

PPengguna TetamuBeautiful view. Short walk to town—windmills, restaurants, Little Venice and shops. Rooms are reminiscent of early 80’s mom and pop motels in the US. BUT the views are stunning. You can hear the waves from your room, so close to the water. This more than makes up for the outdated furnishings and small shower.
