Hotel berhampiran Holy Monastery, Mykonos

Eleni’s village suites was on the last leg of our tour of the Islands in Greece. We arrived in the afternoon and took a transfer(36 euros for 3 people) from the port. One can easily take the local bus which would cost about 1,80 to 2,30 euros, but we didn’t know that then. We were welcomed at the village suites by Ewe and were shown to our accommodation. This was the only place where we stayed that had a stove, cookware, cutlery cups, coffee maker etc. This meant that we could actually prepare meals as eating out in restaurants in Greece can become very expensive as our rand(zar) was 1/20 against the euro. The accommodation was close to the local bus stop. Just down the road was a supermarket which was very inexpensive and we bought all the necessary stuff to have a decent meal which cost less than 15 euros and that was enough for 3 people. Where we paid for a steak 18 euro at the restaurant on the corner. Even though the suites r close enough to the port it is not close enough to walk. We also were served a complimentary buffet breakfast the 2 mornings that we were there. Lovely fruit, cereals, breads, cookies, coffee and juice. U could eat as much as u wanted. We took the bus down to the port and explored Mykonos, old city and little Venice. The area was beautiful. Lots of restaurants along the walkways and the beach. U could also swim . Eleni’s Village suites were very clean and comfortable. WiFi was good especially to connect with family at home. Unfortunately there were no pool at the place as it was quite warm. The surrounding area is quite dry and looks very rural.

Overall, I enjoyed my stay at Myconian. The staff are super friendly & welcoming. That makes the experience great! We stayed on the 4th floor. So a little stairs required to climb (if you have mobility challenges, please request for a floor that have direct lift access). The compound is beautiful! Especially the view from the balcony is really impressive. We got the room that gets to see the sunset by the sea. The room is clean. We bumped into the housekeeper & she really cleans (pull out all pillow case & blanket cover) everyday! They change the towels during the room clean up & sun down service. If you need a kettle, you have to request from the housekeeping. Water from tap is not drinkable. Only 2 bottles of water is provided per evening after 7pm. Otherwise, you have to use the mini bar or call for room service. Otherwise, it was a beautiful stay.

I have traveled all over the world but this by far topped any hotel so far Wish we stayed longer but my mistake on that Drinks food service all top notch. Thank you to the entire staff but I want to point out 2 that stood out the most Maya and Dionisis you made our stay more enjoyable. Everytime we saw you at breakfast or later that evening at the bar you made us feel so good. Maya you were the greatest hostess we could have had. The pool area is amazing ,lovely bar and sun loungers,the rooms were spotless very clean, breakfast was very nice but same every day,very good location 10 minutes to the centre but coming back to the hotel might be a bit hard as there are some steps even though we didn't find it difficult but you can get a taxi back for 10 Euros ,The staffs are super helpful especially Eva and Akis (Theophilos) who picked us up from airport and took us back both very friendly and helpful ,we had a great time and highly recommend this hotel , excellent staffs and if I come back to Mykonos will definitely stay at Petinaros again ,Eva and Akis made our stay more enjoyable THANK YOU .

This hotel is fabulous. The rooms are spacious, clean, well-equipped and with beautiful views of the sea. The restaurant by the pool side is lovely, the cuisine is delicious, the staff is so attentive and the service is impeccable. The music playing all day long by the poolside makes the experience even better. Total Club Med vibe! The housekeeping staff, the reception staff are all so generous with their time and service, always smiling and ready to please the customers. Special mention must be accorded to dear Elsa, who was super nice and went out of her way to make us all feel so welcome. She made our stay super special with her generosity and support. She's a keeper!

Besides preparing delicious cocktails it was the only one in all Mykonos to make us an itinerary of places/ beaches/ places to visit and where you can eat well, which is missing in Mykonos because there are no guides, PR, posters or brochures (in hotels) They tell you what to see or what to do, you have to find everything yourself and end up making mistakes, so thank Peppe that helped us a lot! Experience I would repeat

Truly the best service I have experienced at a fine hotel. The riviera sets the bar high and exceeded our expectations in so many ways. Every staff member was kind, knowledgeable and helpful - day in and day out. They anticipated our needs before we even realized what we needed, and were so helpful and accomodating. Thank you for making our trip so incredible and memorable!

Un piccolo hotel che si trova in pieno centro a Mykonos, le camere comode con piccolo terrazzino. Personale tutto molto gentile che ci ha fatto lasciare le valigie tutto il giorno del check out e con possibilità di lavarsi in un piccolo bagno prima di partire. Accanto all’hotel un piccolo Bakery dove fare colazione. Buono il Wi-Fi. Il prezzo un po’ troppo caro in rapporto ad altri hotel nella stessa zona.
