Cavo Tagoo Mykonos

We don’t feel like a Luxury Hotel as we expect. I can only say the hotel design is modern. Good place for photo. However, no welcome drink as we just arrive from outside over 35 degree. I think the valuable place is public swimming pool. The faucet inside the room is unstable but the room night we paid for over EUR1000 one night. The bed cover is also old on both sides. I think they should do the room renovation.

Die Lage war Ideal! Das Hotel War auch sehr schön. Das einzige Problem war dass das Zimmer nicht wirklich Sauber war… Flecken am Bettrand, Rissen an der Wand und der Pool im Zimmer war verschmutzt! Für den Preis hatte ich was besseres erwartet!

Tutto perfetto , location bellissima situata in una posizione strategica , panorama dalla piscina mozzafiato , servizio ottimo, camerieri sempre pronti a soddisfare ogni esigenza , la struttura e’ nuova , fresca pulita .. Una vacanza in assoluto relax , la cucina e’ ottima ad ogni pasto , colazione senz eguali .. Non c’è nulla che non sia andato bene , la consiglio a tutti

If Instagram brought you here then i understand. However if you are unlike us and checked reviews before coming, allow me to inform you of the "behind the filter" stuff. The trip out of the port in Mykonos was the roughest one we had out of 4 ports. The hotel transport was not waiting for us, and we had to email the hotel to get a transfer to the port, not a huge deal until you remember the price you are paying. We received an apology for our troubles, no further consideration. The property itself is pretty, but not as secluded as the Instagram angles make it out to be (you are next to a road that travels the coastline as well as within earshot of the ship horns- yes, they are loud). For lunch we ate at the hotel day 1, a burger a pasta dish guacamole appetizer, and 2 cocktails, the guacamole chips were very brittle and few in comparison to the guac serving, when we asked for some more chips we were happy until we saw a +15 euro charge for bread and olives, when we mentioned this they said they would remove until the restaurant manager informed us this was the fee for more chips, the tab was over 205 euros. We stayed in the cave pool suite. Pros: nice views, cave pool makes for beautiful pictures, plenty of space for luggage, pool staff is really nice. Cons: wifi is terrible with constant disconnect, tv is very slow and cast application shuts down often. Ac struggles to remotely cool the room throughout the day (for reference we set it to 16° c and the room did not go under 22° c). Private pool water temp is cold (they like to call it refreshing). Staff is nice, but not 5 star nice, if you've stayed at a 5 star before, don't expect similar service. Water bottle at the bar was 10 euros. Breakfast was good with lots of options for a la carte, buffet, or both. My personal experience with pricy high rated hotels (like this one) is you don't usually get price gouged for everything after, this was not the case here. If you are planning a trip to Greek islands please look up caliloios on IG before reserving at cavotagoo. I still have 4 more days to go, and I'll edit accordingly but I wanted you all to hear a bit of truth.

We spent 5 days here for our honeymoon and it was exceptional! The cave pool suite was everything we hoped for. The pool/bar area seems to be the nicest in all of Greece. George made all of our dinner transfers smooth and knew us by name. Thank you for making our Honeymoon so special!

I don’t understand any of the negative or lukewarm reviews. This place is amazing. Huge, beautiful rooms. The pool is incredible. Food and drinks are great. Can easily shuttle or even walk into town. Great service. Very expensive across the board for sure, and it’s not for a budget conscious person. That being said, you get what you pay for and my wife and I love this place. Will be back,
