和食の夕食、バイキングの朝食、どちらも大満足でした。 また、ホテル側のご厚意で申し込んだレベルより高レベルの客室をご用意してくださり感動しました（ありがとうございます）。 ただ、客室数の割にエレベーター台数が少なく呼んでもなかなか来なかったのがストレスでした。 あと、大浴場洗い場の排水溝が詰まり、汚水が足元に襲いかかってきそうでゾッとしました。

6日間の出張で利用しました！室内は綺麗で過ごしやすかったです。朝食バイキングは料理が毎日変化し、またコインランドリーの台数も多く、連泊でも快適に過ごせました。宿泊したのは本館のほうですが、新館の綺麗な朝食場も使えました。

I cannot recommend this ryokan highly enough. From being picked up from Nagahama train station, to being shuttled back to the station the next day (at the insistence of the manager), the experience was above and beyond any expectations I had about our stay here. As a family of four travelling, we were very comfortable with our stay here, albeit for one night, which was a welcome relief from the hustle and bustle of Tokyo and even Hakone in comparison. Our stay was for the night of 29 December 2023. The walk along Lake Biwa and a visit to Nagahama Castle in the early hours of a winter's morning were refreshing and very convenient to the accommodation. The staff were very welcoming and it seemed they couldn't do enough for you to ensure your wellbeing and comfort. Dinner and breakfast were Japanese style, very tasty and filling. If you're after somewhere to stay off the beaten track and a little different, I strongly suggest a stay at Hamakogetsu, Nagahama.

とてもいい時間を過ごさせていただきました。 まず旅館に入るとロビーから見える奥琵琶湖の景色に癒されます。 特別室に宿泊しましたが、入るなり木のいい香りがして、部屋から見える景色も素敵。 お部屋も広くておしゃれでした。部屋のヨギボーに子供たちが大喜び。 お料理は近江牛づくしをチョイスしましたが、近江牛のお寿司やローストビーフ、ビーフシチューなどあらゆるお肉料理が出てきて全て美味しかったです！ 初めて来たような感じがしない温かいおもてなしも良かったです。 また来たいと思うお宿でした。
