Hotel berhampiran Ōminejō Castle Ruins, Nagono

Our first experience in a ryokan so we had no idea what to expect. The staff were very friendly and answered any queries we had. We were travelling with another couple and we opted for the deluxe room with tatami area but requested western beds as opposed to futons. They were quite hard but that seemed to be the case in all the other places we stayed too so maybe that’s the norm. The bedroom and tatami room were as warm or cool as you decided but the hallway, toilet and shower/wet room had no heating so were pretty chilly. The western rooms, where our friends were, were all warm as recently completed. We opted for both breakfast and dinner for the 3 nights as we weren’t sure what would be in the area. Both meals start and finish early but we had plans for each day so this wasn’t an issue. The food was excellent and plentiful and the serving staff were lovely.

Hotel near to Nagano station, few minutes walk in flat road. Check in via self service machine is so easy. Room was clean with simple amenities n room size quite good. Staff helpful, recommend Japanese restaurants n can converse English. Bed was ok. Can choose additional pillow at lobby as well as other amenities. Could still see sakura blossom mid April in Nagano.

JR長野駅からすぐの場所にあり雨天時は地下通路が使えるので傘いらずです。東急百貨店や駅ビルも隣接、すぐ隣に農協の売店もあり地元のリンゴや野菜を安く変えました。部屋は明るくて広く清潔感があり、駅前にもかかわらず静かで快適でした。朝食が品数が多く味付けもよく美味しくいただきました。全国旅行割の活用でお得に宿泊できましたが、次回も長野での宿泊ならここを選びたいと思います。

One of two former Sunroute hotels, one either side of Nagano station, both where we have stayed on previous visits. This has become a Sotetsu Fresa Inn, the other the Courtland. A couple of minutes walk from the station, and directly above a convenience store and with several restaurants very near the hotel, Fresa Inn is ideally located. Despite reserving months in advance, we were very disappointed to find that we had been allocated a smoking room on the 6th floor, directly above reception on the 5th floor. As two former smokers, we find the acrid stench of stale cigarette smoke extremely unpleasant. We asked for a non smoking room but none was available. The portable aircon/air freshener did not succeed in clearing the unpleasant odour. The room was reasonable in size, with good facilities and the buffet breakfast was very good, though the slowness of the two toasters was a bit annoying. Good hotel in general, but unfortunate in receiving a smoking room, at the front of the hotel, on the lowest floor, subject to noise from the street below.

Very close to Nagano Station. You exit out of the station. Find the overpass that takes you across to Don Quijote Discount Store. There is an escalator that takes you down to the street level. Turn right. You'll walk past the Alpico Bus Ticket Office. This is where you buy the bus tickets to go to the three shrines in Togakushi (bus number 70, approximately one bus per hour). Keep walking until you see a Chinese restaurant. The hotel is the next building. We had the standard twin room. Room size is OK as expected. The decor in our room more than made up for it. That was a really nice surprise. I love Fujisan and wood-block prints and we were going to visit Hokusai Museum in nearby Obuse the next day! Breakfast area is in front of the lifts. The hotel has a business hotel feel to it. I really enjoyed the buffet breakfast (probably my second favourite). Of all the places we stayed in on this trip, this is the only place with noodles, five grain rice and Asian greens. The Asian greens were served at room temperature with some special sauce, not plain. The sweet bread roll was very yummy. And if I remembered correctly, it even had apple cider vinegar! It also seemed that if you needed to, you could take breakfast with you as the hotel provided takeaway containers. The soup was already in takeaway containers. We definitely need more than two nights to explore Nagano!

Hotel is in midst of renovation and many parts yet to be completed. Once fully done, it will be fantastic . My room looks a bit old , but the size was big to move around in. Facilities were excellent and there is free all you can eat ice cream at lobby . There is also a big onsen , but the water is a bit too hot to sit for long in ! Nevertheless it was nice. Location is about 7 mins walk from train station . Would come back here again if ever in the region.

Nagano is a quiet city. The only tourist spot would be Zenkoji temple and chestnuts sweets. Choices of Restaurants and shops are not what tourists usually expect. This hotel is just right next to the JR and high speed train station or you could say “in the station” as there is a bridge connecting to the 2nd floor of the hotel ( reception at 1st floor). Supermarket at the station is small and just like convenient store. But there are souvenir shops in the station. So do consider and plan for dinner. The hotel also offer good deals for body massage services. In short this is a up to standard business hotel but not quite recommended for tourists.

Great location, super convenient to train station. In addition, there is a nearby 7-11 which allows for quick purchase of essential supplies. The hotel provides washer and dryer for guest to clean their clothes which is good at affordable pricing. Only downside is the room is really small but that is the norm is Tokyo, will get used to it.

地點- 距離長野交流道很近。 飯店前有大面積的停車場，遊覽車停了十多部也還有餘裕。 附近有24小時營業的Lawson很方便。 本次入住1013房。 房間- 感應式房卡，有自動上鎖的功能。 空間非常大，大到有餘裕擺沙發桌椅，地板還可攤開多個行李箱也沒問題，但缺點就是老舊感。 冰箱門外有開關需打開才會運作。 櫃子上有快煮壺。 靠牆的書桌兼化妝檯，桌上擺放著小型電視、吹風機、面紙盒，還有一個插座。 桌旁有立地的晾毛巾架。 圓形茶几上有一個控制燈光專用的遙控器，還有介紹窗外景色的三角立牌。 床頭櫃上有檯燈、電話、兩個插座。 浴廁是整體衛浴，空間大小普通。 有免治馬桶。 淋浴沒有乾濕分離，得站在浴缸裡、拉上浴簾。 浴室只有洗臉洗手通用的泡沫罐，還有洗髮、潤髮、沐浴乳，其餘備品如牙刷、刮鬍刀、浴帽、棉花棒、茶包等，均放在1樓大廳有一區集中放置。 服務- 提供免費WiFi，房內的速度尚可。 浴衣放在電梯廳的牆櫃上，可自行選擇合適的尺寸。 溫泉在2樓，空間很大、座位多，但裝修普通。特別的有可上鎖的置物格和免費的運動飲料，其餘就一般浴場該有的都有。提醒大家要小心室外的浴池是石頭材質，小心刮傷。 這麼多房間的溫泉飯店，卻只有三台電梯，遇到大量團客進出的時間會等比較久。 清潔- 房內陳設老舊，木頭磨損明顯，但仍算乾淨。 公共空間如1、2樓就裝修的美輪美奐，反差有點大。 睡眠品質- 空調很難調整到舒適的溫度，逼不得已先開門開窗對流降溫。 但開了窗，又會有小蟲循著燈光飛進來。 夜晚非常安靜，一夜好眠，明明睡不多卻感覺睡眠充足。 早餐- 位在2樓大宴會廳，桌數驚人的多，像辦桌一樣的嘈雜環境。 自助式，種類多，有些熱門項目得排一下隊。 整體合算感- 本次是跟團，無法得知房價，但連鎖的度假飯店有基本的水準在，順路的話可以考慮看看。

大浴場はあまり大きくありませんが、とても綺麗で良かったです。部屋もまだ新しくとても清潔感があり利用して良かったと思います。またチェックインが遅くなっても非常に良い対応で気持ち良かったですです。 朝ごはんも種類が多く、全種類食べきれない程のボリュームでした。また機会があれば利用したいと思えました。
