We are family of 4 (2 adult & 2 kids age 11 & 12). We requested for connection room, but we were so surprised that the hotel only have 2 connection room which is at level non-smoking room and level smoking room. We stayed 4D3N and we have to separate the kids sleep with us each other's. Firstly, they sent us to level 5, the window facing building opposite the hotel look like empty and running down, so scary so i asked them to change for us, lucky they still have available room for us at level 3 facing the road.
The food was ok ok for me and family. every day different kinds of food. but not much western choices.
The room was spaces and have kind of smell, maybe the carpet smell. but ok still acceptable.
The service was good. asking for extra pillow, rubbish plastic, clean the room change the bed sheet etc.
The location walking distant to Nagoya Hill Mall. Took grab to BCC mall, Mega Mall all nearby. Grab/gojek is so fast and Easy in Batam.
It a good experience for us. after all we did have fun in Batam.

I have never been to Batam, and when choosing a hotel for this inaugural trip, I depended on reviews from previous customers.
I concur with the positive reviewers. The hotel location is good, a short walk from Grand Batam mall and various food outlets.
The room is large, with cozy beds and good Internet connectivity.
They served excellent breakfast with good choices on the menu.
Helpful and accommodation staff.

Location is good if you’re looking for local food, and supper at night. Breakfast spread is also good for a 3* hotel. No proper walkway path to walk to Nagoya Hill Mall and better recommended to take a grab/Gojek over. Hotel service is superb with smiley staffs but due to the nightlife around the hotel, there’s very bad noise cancellation/isolation from the windows where you can hear car alarm ringing through the night/motorcycle etc from the window. As for within the room, you can hear other door slam, people talking/laughing along the passageway in. These factors definitely disrupts your sleep if you’re a light sleeper.
Cleanliness is so so, not to expect much from the hotel. Did a wipe down when we entered the room and the tissues were dark with dust.

A nice and seamless check in experience. Hotel is relatively new and conveniently located next to Grand Mall Batam. We are tired from our recent long trip and decided to go batam for a quick and self pampering getaway. Luckily an early check in was available. Front Desk Maya helped to do check in smoothly. It was a nice experience indeed. Anyway, there's also a lot of massage, foot reflexology places around the hotel area...

The room was cosy and very clean. The bathroom was also sized nicely. Location wise, there were quite a number of food stalls very bear the hotel and quite near to Nagoya Hill Shopping Mall.
That said, the breakfast area can be considered abit small. It showed during the Deepavali weekend where odd and even numbered rooms were given different time slots for breakfast. The kitchen seened unable to cope with the mounting number of guests as there were instances the replenishment took a longer time.
However, overall, my stay at the hotel was a good one!

Kali pertama menempah hotel ini untuk 3 bilik utama, lokasi yang baik & kakitangan yang mesra, mendapat masalah dengan 1 bilik tidak boleh membuka pintu utama, pergi untuk memaklumkan penyambut tetamu, kali ke-3 mereka meminta keselamatan untuk naik bersama saya & mendapati pintu keluar menjilat rosak & meminta penyelenggaraan untuk membetulkan masalah. Banyak kedai makan, 2 shopping mall berdekatan.
Sarapan memerlukan sedikit penambahbaikan. Lain kali akan tinggal di sini lagi.

Booked for a 2 bedroom apartment for 3D2N.
Pros:
- Breakfast served has a wide range of food.
- Apartment room has a bathtub in the master bedroom.
- Staffs were friendly and nice.
Cons:
- We found 2 cockroaches during our stay.
- There was a leakage in the water dispenser which made the floor wet and slippery when turning it on. Took awhile to wait for their team to come and fix, so we went for sightseeing around Batam. Came back to the apartment, it was fixed but we have to off the water dispenser to prevent it from leaking.
- No self-service laundry in the hotel and quite the distance to walk for laundry service around the area.
- No iron and iron board provided in the apartment.
Overall, its okay. Maybe will try to book the hotel instead of the apartment for next visit.

PPengguna TetamuChecked into this hotel at abt 8 or 9pm, cos we could not stand the hotel we checked in earlier. Was so glad that we got a beautiful deluxe room for ourselves at this timing. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The reception even accommodated my last minute request for a birthday surprise for my hubby at midnight. They were so nice!! They prepared a choco lava cake with a birthday candle and a Happy Birthday wish on the plate. And 2 staff were there singing a Happy Birthday song as well. Hubby was very much caught by surprise. The room was great - spacious with sofa and armchairs with nice looking furniture, the whole room is very clean with a nice cosy setting, bathroom amenities was great, and the king bed and pillows were so comfortable I had the best sleep in many months! The best sleep was definitely the highlight of my holiday this time round 🤭 Location is awesome as its so near to Nagoya Hill Mall, all we had to do was just go by the back way. Breakfast is nice and filling. I'm not really a picky water so being full is good for me. We had a great view from our room as well. It was such a pleasure and a redemption from the bad service we unfortunately had to receive from our earlier booking at another hotel. The rooms are really as nice as the photos they uploaded. Really made our day here at Grand I Hotel. Thank you to all the staff who have served us during our stay 28 to 30 Jan 2023 at Room 627. We are really grateful for a wonderful holiday and birthday experience here. We will definitely be back here when we come to Batam again. Keep up the good work!

PPengguna TetamuI make my booking at Agoda for 3D2N.We booked Executive Loft with slide.It cost us about SGD334.It can accomodate maximum 6pax.Consist of 2 bedroom,living room ,2 bathroom and a balcony.One room consist of king bed .The other room consist of 1 king and a single bed.Living room have sofabed.There's shower and bathtub too.All bedroom is at the loft.For first time choosing the hotel,we don't know where exactly the place is,the taxi driver also not quite sure where the place is,we keep looking left and right for the hotel name,till lastly we spot a signboard at the end of the building stated Manuka by Havis.Their lobby is quite small.I don't know if I can say it a hotel though,because they don't have breakfast,no spa no nothing,coz their place is surrounded with spa's and eatery, you can juz come down and have ur breakfast,lunch or dinner within the area.BCS and Grand batam mall is juz walking distant.And the famous itsumo cafe is juz behind the hotel.There's korean restaurant/coffeshop that are halal juz behind the hotel too.Their staff is friendly and helpful .The price actually too pricey,but overall I love my stay here.I enjoy playing the slide,hahaha.Me and my family really have a great stay.Thank you. PROS: the area is spacious. have s small kitchenette, u can cook there. but no utensils though. they have pots and pans. incld fork and spoon have microwave plates,cups.. Fridge CONS: u have to go down to use the bathroom as the bedroom is on top. balcony light is too dim for the night and there's no kind of shelter if we like to sit outside on a sunny day. charging phone is like a disaster for me because it didn't charge even we charged our phone for the whole day,it is really frustrating.we have to change our charging place here and there to make it work,really annoying if u can't charge ur phone though.do something boss.Thank u FYI please bring your universal plug.Most of their power socket is the EU kind of socket.using the round plug.

HHoimanHotel is pretty dated. Breakfast is not really good too. And the hotel is undergoing renovation on the ground floor so can hear all the drilling and can't chill in the hotel in the day. Although the room is supposed to be non smoking, the previous guest seemed to have smoked in there, so the toilet stink at the start. But the location is good, it is less than 5 mins walk to the Grand Batam mall.

Improve Of the Breakfast Tables Surrounding Hygiene As Many HouseFlies 🪰 While Eating. Very Dirty. Staff's Should Be Directly Cleared Away The Plates & Cutleries After Guests Finish Eating. Not Just Hack Cares from it. As The Hotel Guests Needs To Ownself Clear it for The Staff's. As was told Breakfast ends 10:30am daily but past 2 Days when I reached the food court at 9am. Mostly All food items left only the Base Lines. The Porridge conditions was entirely can't consume it cos it's Was so Starchy... The Cutleries never replenish. Only The Door Man on duty at all times to provides great service of having smiling 😃 😊 face for welcoming.

PPengguna TetamuStay for 2 night in July..(Sat-Mon) with Breakfast Hotel lobby not So big but its long shape..Love the elevator located where hide from FO counter but direct to main access n Lobby. Cons -Even the location is in Nagoya,but its not in central nagoya where u cant find food or city walk easily.(its stil acceptable where u can use transport) -The sink in toilet room Number 8007 is almost clogged,the water from sink bowl dissappear slowly. - Omellete station during Breakfast on 11/7 very slow,I order the omelette 1st before enter the dining area(coz the omelette station is beside lift).After i take my food,wait very long for my omelette to ready.I finish all my breakfast already then the omelette is arrived.very spoils my morning. -Not a walking distance to attractions. Pros. -Good FO,F&B(except mention above),HK and concierge team.They all serve with smile n generous. -The attitude of staf is show how good is indonesia hospitality. -Even the pools not so big and the gym is small.But this is enough for you to relax n enjoy the facilities while see the view of nagoya town. -affordable price hotel room -delicious buffet spread(i really means it). -The lady in black suits (F&B incharge on 10&11/7 is really good.She really makesure all the food is top up and cust have enough food).But i forget her name. -Room is quite good and its concept suitable for couple due to the toilet is glass wall n using only white blinder.(we like it coz we r couple). -They using Presidential suite hotel collection mattress and its really good for me. -i like how simple the minibar and kettle design. -good lightning in room -nice view from room. -Good HK team in cleaning our room when we out to town. -I like when hotel using card scanner in lift to room level,its very secure n privacy. -Love the smells of the lobby n room -its sound proof quite good -And the Air conditioner its really good,well maintain and cools.(we in asean hv very hot temperatures,and good AC is must in hotel). Overall this hotel give u good level in privacy and comfortable stay.Even there is some space need to improve but not its still a good hotel with the good staff. TQ

PPengguna TetamuI don’t give 1/5 reviews. I am only triggered when the cleanliness and hygiene is an issue. This hotel gave me a room that I had to walk through a smoke reeked corridor. When I went into the room, I got a room that had so much wordless shakes than nods of approval. 1) Toilet was not clean. There was mold. 2) Room had to be “perfumed” with a packet of something hanging on the air con duct 3) ALL the towels in the room were stained. Asked for a new set and it was STILL stained 😳. 4) No shampoo as a 4 star hotel. 5) Recycled bed room slippers ( of which I am fine ) but it was stained with dubious stuff. 6) Room picture hangs precariously over my head. 7) The extra bed I paid extra for came without a bed frame and was placed on the floor. Housekeeping said it is like that 😵💫 Management has to do something. The poor housekeeping got a hard time from me 🙏🏻

PPengguna TetamuBooked 3X Executive rooms reached early at around 9-10am but was given only one room for our luggages and told us only able to check in at 2pm so we went to shop and return only at 7pm to check in the remaining 2 rooms and to found out that the initial corner room given to us earlier on was having eerie vibes and so we went for a change of room but was told rooms fully booked on the same floor but after overheard the conversation from other hotel guest who came to check in found out that there are 2 remaining rooms left so we ask the receptionist again and got our initial room changed but we found out another problem whereas the Room type given after change and before change are also of the wrong room type deluxe room instead of Executive rooms as there is huge size difference in the room compared to the other 2 rooms.

The hotel itself shows its age, with visible wear and tear on the facilities. We experienced significant inconveniences, such as a malfunctioning elevator, leading to extended waiting times to get to our floor. The water in the shower was lukewarm at best on the first day, though, fortunately, this issue did not persist. Cleanliness fell below expectations. I discovered unremovable stains on the provided towels, bed sheets, and pillowcases. A roach incident within the room was unsettling, to say the least. These hygiene issues might be particularly concerning if you prioritize cleanliness. Facility-wise, the aging infrastructure could benefit from a thorough renovation. Despite being advertised as a 4-star hotel, the overall ambiance and amenities felt more akin to a 3-star establishment. On the positive side, the breakfast buffet offered a diverse range of options. The quality of the food was average, with some dishes leaning towards the salty side. Nothing was particularly impressive or offensive. The hotel's location is undoubtedly one of its strongest attributes. Its prime positioning provides excellent convenience for travelers, making exploration of the area effortless. Additionally, the accommodation cost is quite affordable, a favorable factor for budget-conscious guests. In conclusion, while The BCC Hotel & Residence provides value in terms of location and price, there are marked areas for improvement. A committed effort to enhance hygiene and update facilities could elevate the guest experience to match its 4-star rating.
