Hotel berhampiran Kokusai-dori, Naha, Okinawa

This hotel is just across the street from the bus station so it’s great for any excursions you want to take. Lots of family Marts and seven eleven close by, but supermarket was a C little hard to find. It’s about 1 km walk to the main shopping street, but about 5-10 mins away is a great area for finding little restaurants and cafes. Just have a wander and you’ll be spoiled for choice.

We enjoyed our stay at the The Royal Iconic Naha Hotel. It's a modern and clean hotel close to the popular Naha Kokusai Dori Shopping street as well as the monorail station being directly across the road. Heaps of restaurants and shopping options nearby. The one negative aspect staying here was the parking facility. It's not your traditional parking space that's provided instead the hotel has a parking mechanical tower (like a large vending machine) that parks your car and collects it for you. The process of collecting your car could take a while due to the number of guests needing to collect their car as well. Its one at a time basis. Also there's not enough parking spots so when we arrived back from our day trips in the evening, we were advised that the car park is full an were directed to find alternative parking elsewhere. I found was really inconvenient as the days were hot and humid and everybody was tired. I ended up circling around the area for an hour looking for parking and trying to figure out how to park using those plate locks. Then I had to lug alot of things from my car as well as my 3 yr old back to the hotel. I haven't ever came across this issue before at other hotels I've stayed in. The pool isn't large but was nice enough to relax for a quick dip. There was also a spa as well which was nice. Would be good though if the pool was opened until later (it closes early at 8pm). Also, there weren't any towels provided at the pool and only 2 towels provided in our hotel room which we had to use. This was inconvenient as we then had to bring back our wet towels to our room. Overall our stay was okay.

Around 200meters to makishi station and Kokusai street. Very strategic location. The kitchen, fridge etc available to be used with only some rules to be followed. The stay was pleasant even though it is dormitory type of bed. Everyone keep their cleanliness and stay quiet in the room. Just the water heater takes some time to heat up. By the way, overall is very good. Highly recommended to everyone.

ReTime located just shy away from Asahibashi station and a perfect walking distance from KOKUSAI DORI shopping street, tourist spots and various supermarkets. The hotel offers capsule rooms, family rooms and a cabin themed room where you are assigned either a top or bottom bunk. You also receive free slippers and borrow sleepwear during your stay. The hotel also offers complimentary basic amenities such as toothbrush, comb, shower caps, razors if you need them. At the lobby, there’s a beautiful wooden set of keyed lockers to choose to put away your shoes upon entering the building. The common space is cleaned very frequently, almost every few hours (Japan's standards will make you rethink your definition of cleanliness) and where guests can eat and drink (water and additional soft drinks provided, there's also a vending machine with a nice selection of snacks). The space very pleasantly airy with lots of sun, and overall a nice place to work, snack or relax as the cabin and capsule rooms have no windows. I loved the creativity as you are essentially sharing a bunk bed with privacy that’s provided with a sliding screen door. It’s decent, with adequate room for luggage but few may struggle if the luggage is quite large as the aisle can be a bit narrow. This can be reflected from your neighbour next door at times~! I found overall it was very comfortable and I was assigned the top bunk during my long stay. The bed is clean, with complimentary cleaning on the 7th day (10am-3pm), and there’s a decent sized desk. The privacy of the cabin room is definitely the main highlight about ReTime if one wishes for privacy but reduced budget than a standard hotel room. A slight issue with this kind of arrangement is shutting the screen doors may end up being noisy (the screen door naturally reduces soundproofing). However having stayed for quite some time, I found the bed and room overall very comfortable and decently spaced. If I stayed longer, this would not be an issue as the bed was quite spacious personally. The shower option as opposed to the public onsen baths is much appreciated as 1) some women are not comfortable with the public baths, and 2) when that time of the month happens...this would reassure future guests planning to come to ReTime. The additional complimentary ammeties such as toner, cleanser and lotion were surpising and great to use also. Some crticisms regarding the stay: upon entering, I was told check in was at 4pm, which is quite later than average . I found a coin locker nearby but would have liked to be informed I could have stayed in the common area until check in if desired. It was a bit dissapointing as I could have saved a few hundred yen and energy after a flight. The washing machine instruction was unclear as the yellow button had to be pressed before scanning the touch bracelet, the step which is not in the images, and the staff member assisting was a bit rude (it likely shows the issue with this particular step had occurred many times). Perhaps putting some numbered stickers may help with step by step - especially turning that yellow button to green. Overall it’s a positive experience to recharge and stay long term, however I personally found that the service can be improved. Staying at First Cabin Naha Airport offered a surprisingly seamless experience for a short transit night. What stood out most was how effortlessly everything worked—from stepping out of the international arrivals hall to checking into the compact cabin in just a few minutes. Despite its airport location, the space felt calm, with soft lighting and well-kept shared facilities that never felt crowded. The cabin itself was simple but thoughtfully arranged, providing enough privacy and comfort for a refreshing rest. Early-morning departures became stress-free, as I could reach the check-in counters without rushing. For travelers who value efficiency and a quiet place to reset between flights, this hotel delivers exceptional convenience.

I stayed at Hotel Androoms Naha Port on 15 April 2026. The room itself was clean, comfortable, and reasonably priced, and the location is good. However, I had a very bad experience due to the hotel’s parking management. During check-in, I clearly informed the front desk that I had a car and pointed out where I parked (behind the hotel). The staff confirmed that it was the hotel’s parking area. Shortly after going to my room, the same staff knocked on my door and asked me to come down, saying I might have parked in someone else’s lot. Only after calling me down did they then ask for my car plate number, meaning they had not even confirmed whether the car belonged to me before approaching me. It turned out I was directed to park in a private lot. I immediately apologized to the owner and was ready to move my car, but I was told I needed to pay a ¥30,000 penalty. The signage was extremely unclear, poorly lit, and partially blocked, making it impossible to see at night. More importantly, this situation was caused by incorrect information given by the hotel staff. The parking lot owner told me this was the 8th time this has happened with hotel guests, which shows this is an ongoing issue that has not been resolved. The situation remained unresolved for nearly 1 hour. As no agreement was reached, the hotel decided to call the police to handle the matter. After police intervention and discussions with all parties, the hotel eventually paid ¥30,000 to the parking lot owner, and the matter was resolved after almost 2 hours. Despite all this, there was no apology or service recovery, and I was still charged the parking fee. This was a simple issue that could have been prevented with clear signage or proper staff training, but it escalated unnecessarily and caused significant stress on the last night of my trip. Overall, the room is good, but due to this experience, I would not recommend staying here if you are driving.

Review of Japavista Casa De Boss, Okinawa About me: I’m a frequent flyer to Japan and a long-time fan of staying at villas and resorts across the country. Like this one in Okinawa, I enjoy discovering different accommodations across Japan. This time, I chose Japavista Cass De Boss for a relaxing group trip. ⸻ 👍 What I liked: • Modern Electronics: The villa was equipped with an impressive array of modern electronics, including a Dyson vacuum, air purifier, dehumidifier, Harman Kardon speaker, LG clothing purifier, SodaStream, and a coffee capsule machine, elevating the stay with high-tech convenience. • Spacious Layout: The villa was comfortably spacious, perfectly suited for 4 people for a relaxed group stay. • Clean Environment: The villa was generally very clean, creating a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere throughout the stay. • Free Parking: Convenient free parking right at the ground floor made it easy for us to come and go, especially with a rental car. • Nice View with Balcony: The balcony offered a beautiful view, just as advertised, providing a serene spot to unwind and enjoy the surroundings. • Basic Cooking Ingredients: The kitchen included essentials like oil, salt, and pepper, which was a thoughtful touch for preparing simple meals. • Private and quiet surroundings: Peaceful setting with no disturbance from other guests. ⸻ 👎 What could be improved: • Aging and Dirty Sofa: The sofa looked worn and dirty, to the point where I hesitated to sit on it, which detracted from the overall comfort of the living area. • Faulty Stove: The stove frequently beeped due to a lack of gas, making cooking frustrating and disrupting the kitchen experience. • Used Dishwashing Sponge: The dishwashing sponge wasn’t brand new, which felt unhygienic. A fresh sponge should be provided for each new guest to ensure a clean start.

Really solid, near everything i wanted to do. Internet could've been a bit better but it got the job done. Right next to a really good curry spot. Would certainly book again.
