Great If you are only wanting to stay on the site or visit the wildlife park, Sendi resort etc. It is in the middle of nowhere, which is great for rest and relaxation! But, deliveries and taxis are limited, the restaurant wasn't open (in December at least) and there's nothing around the site.
The site is beautiful, the lakeside cabin was amazing and the staff are very friendly. I will definitely come back here in the spring/summer to see what it is like in peak season.
The bed was comfortable and the climbing structures in the rooms were great for my children.

However, the hotel really doesn't cater to Western couples - it seems like everyone else staying in the hotel was a Chinese couple with young children. There was little information in the hotel about what the hotel had to offer, and there were a lot of things that were unavailable - the pool was closed, the two Western restaurants were closed, the bar was closed (and looked like it had never been open), and a lot of the eating places around the hotel were closed too. The hotel was very busy and noisy with all the families, and maintenance of the garden and outside areas of the hotel was not a priority at all - things were falling apart and they looked a mess. Having said all of this, it was nice to be able to walk on the beach and see the ocean. However, couples looking for a nice getaway where they can relax should look at going somewhere else.

GGeorgeThe hotel is conveniently located 10-15 minutes, on foot, to the High-Speed Nantong Railway Station. You can catch a train to Shanghai or as far north to Harbin from that Station. There is a nearby (5-10 minutes, on foot) bus stop where you can ride a bus to downtown Nantong, and to the Langshan Scenic Area (overlooking the Yangzte River; atop Langshan, is a well-maintained, Song Dynasty-era pagoda). It costs 2RMB per ride.
The hotel is brand new and located in a mix-residential and business area. Despite the proximity to local businesses and the Railway Station, it is very quiet at night.
The morning buffet is more than adequate. I particularly like their flat-rice noodles and their deep-fried red bean paste rolls.
The hotel staff, in particular, the kitchen staff, were friendly and helpful.

SSTEPHANIE MONIQUEThis hotel is the best in Nantong as far as service, views and food. Let’s start with the service. Upon arrival which was very late, we were greeted by the front desk staff. These ladies were so kind and helpful. They helped my husband and I get settled up and settled in. We were told all the different areas of the hotel including the beautiful pool. The next morning we arrived at the main building for breakfast. It was amazing the options that were available. Western style breakfast was provided. Even cold cereal. Chinese breakfast is also provided. The restaurant has amazing views of the grounds which you can enjoy while having breakfast , lunch or dinner. After breakfast we were given a tour of the upstairs area where you can see the entire hotel and then some. The service person who gave us the tour is a very nice man who also gave us a shuttle ride to the restaurant. Did I say that the staff is amazing? They are the best!!! Our room was upgraded and it has a tub in the bathroom. The views from our room was spectacular. We stayed in the villa suite. It has a living area and a separate bedroom. More than enough room for two people. The hotel is walking distance to Lang Shan mountain/ temple and a lovely park by the river. You can also rent a bike for a ride. The grounds remind me of suburbia USA. Loved it. You can walk forever in the beautiful naturalistic surroundings which include little brooks and ponds. Peaceful and surreal. The architecture of the villas are so beautiful. I felt at home. Our room also had a somewhat of a wrap around balcony to have your morning coffee on. Hotel looks old but cleanliness is well-maintained.
Room cleaning was done every single day and towel will be all changed.
Free laundry service is really the best and I really have to give a thumbs up. Not only it is free but also very quick. All laundries picked up in the morning will be done and sent to your room within the same day.
Breakfast is ok. Not much of variety but covers eastern and western enough. Taste wise I would say acceptable.
Location of hotel is good for me coz factory I worked with is within cycling distance. There are restaurants, massage centers, pubs, ktv, fast food, convenient store and etc. around. So, it is quite convenient to get daily needs.
Definitely will recommend to my colleague to stay at.

SSoleneThe little tree house was a nice way to spend the weekend relaxing. The area was pretty quiet except for some construction in the early afternoon. The area is clean, there are convenient picnic tables, sinks and counters at each site to prepare food and have a meal outdoor. The bathroom and room are a little small but it’s ok because we wanted to enjoy the outdoor weather.
