The hotel's location is excellent, right below Yidashao Old Street, making it convenient for boat rides and shopping. The hotel service is great, and the staff are very patient in resolving issues. They even organized evening activities, adding to the festive atmosphere. The room was clean, but the only downside was that the bathroom floor was wet upon check-in, which I hope they can improve.

The room was spacious and had a bathtub, which the kids loved! We stayed in a lake-view room this time, and even though the view was a bit obstructed by the buildings in front, it was still pretty good overall! It's very close to the old street, making it super convenient for dining and shopping ❤️

The location is quite convenient, right in the old town. After checking in and parking, you can immediately go shopping. The view is nice, but the reception was just so-so. Breakfast is served at the club next door and needs improvement – the food was cold.

The room was clean and had an amazing view. Our lake view room came with a balcony, perfect for sitting out and enjoying Sun Moon Lake. The hotel's surroundings were convenient and lively, and they even had a sauna facility. Overall, everything was pretty good!

We got a lake view room which we enjoying so much during our stayed. Rooms had a good size for 4ppls and their washroom is big, clean and equipped with a intelligent toilet bowl. Hotel equipped with fitness gyms, sauna, onsen facilities and a hour free bicycle voucher for staying guests. Good spread of breakfast, we enjoyed the lake view while having our breakfast. Walking distance to the inter loop lake bus stop and the street market.

Old hotel needs maintenance. Breakfast is in another building, stone throw away (must walk out). Large room was a bonus. Balcony facing lake was not unblocked and direct. Location is near to lake ferry points and bike rentals.

Breakfast and leisure facilities, such as the pool and gym, can all be used for free at the Mountain Forest Lodge next door, as they share the same owner. This offers fantastic value! The room itself is very new. The location is excellent, just around the corner from the pedestrian street, and our room provided incredible, unobstructed lake views.

The Sun Moon Lake Hotel is perfectly located right next to Ita Thao Pier (a 1-2 minute walk). Upon arrival, you can check in first, and then the hotel staff will guide you to one of their partner parking lots (either Moon Lake Hotel or Wyndham parking lot, as the Sun Moon Lake Hotel itself primarily functions as accommodation). The double rooms are a good size, but they mainly offer city views, while only quad rooms have lake views. The rooms are clean, and the soundproofing is decent. Breakfast is served at their affiliated hotel, Lih Pao Resort, on the 2nd floor (about a 1-minute walk away). The lobby of that hotel is on the 3rd floor, so you'll need to go down one level. The views from there are excellent.

The location is fantastic, offering unbeatable views. While the facilities are a bit dated and no-frills, the staff are friendly and helpful. It's conveniently situated near a shopping street, making dining and shopping very easy. A walking trail provides direct access to the Nine Frogs landmark and the cable car station.

My second stay was absolutely fantastic! The hotel enjoys an excellent location with very convenient transportation links. The rooms are clean and comfortable, the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful, and the breakfast offers a rich and diverse selection. I was thoroughly satisfied.
