Clean hotel in a beautiful area!

The hotel is ok but the room is big. The restaurant in the hotel is a must try. My daughter LOVEs every dishes she ordered. She said, this is the best food she had in Taiwan, so we had two dinners at the hotel. The location of the hotel is not great! We couldn’t get into the local buses to go to Xitou nor to Taichung because the buses were full from the original starting point. However, the hotel offers fare shuttle service to and from Xitou but not Shanlinxi. The front desk lady drove us to Xitou, she was GREAT and very accommodating, she took us to Xitou bus station outside of the normal schedule hours so we can catch the bus back to Taichung. We would come back again with our car to get to different areas in Xitou again.

Overall, the hotel is excellent, and the facilities are good. However, guests often smoke by the entrance, so you'll smell cigarette smoke every time you go in or out. It feels a bit out of place – you come all the way to the mountains, only to breathe nicotine instead of fresh air. That's a real shame. The firefly tour for an extra 50 NTD is definitely worth it. The location is right behind the hotel, which is convenient and beautiful.

My parents liked the room at this hotel. Quite spacious and really clean. The price was reasonable.

There is a firefly watching activity at night! The explanation staff was very good! There are also free key chains for taking photos, and you can see the stars from the balcony of the room at night! Only a five-minute drive from Xitou Forest Area, the location is great!

The room was clean, spacious and not damp (many hotels in the mountains have a damp and musty smell). The hotel's breakfast is also OK, the staff are very friendly and will recommend friends to stay here

The bathroom is large and the air conditioner has no strange noises. I will visit it at the end of April. There is also a firefly tour for only 50 yuan. The breakfast is also OK. It is close to Xitou ** Village and Phoenix Valley. It is worth staying. Double room with two large beds is really good
