Hotel berhampiran Gokurakuji Temple, Naoshima

My husband and I chose the Uno Hotel because we wanted easy access to the art islands in the Seto Inland Sea. Hotel is a 3 or 4 minute easy walk to Uno Port which is the gateway to those islands. And ferry ride only about 15 minutes one-way. We expected the art islands to be great but this is a new hotel so we took a chance. Wow, what a wonderful experience on every level; the room, hotel team, restaurant, and the food was exceptional. The Uno Hotel is also within a 1 minute walk to a building which houses Onsen (hot springs baths and spa) and a Japanese restaurant, which they also own. (We did not have time to explore those but heard great things.) I could rave about the restaurant in the hotel called “Bluno” for days….we enjoyed breakfasts and dinners there - each superb with great attention-to-detail. A special treat was meeting restaurant manager Mr. Aran Teruo Pascual. He was kind, professional and personally makes one want to return in addition to the food and contemporary bright setting. The front desk team is warm, welcoming and attentive. When making a reservation I noticed there are multiple hotels or inns that have the name “Uno” in it so my suggestion is that you note that it is the Uno Hotel. I recommend higher floor on the water side, the hotel is not on the water, but lovely view. We look forward to returning.

The sushi at “Seto,” the hotel’s Japanese restaurant, was some of the best I’ve ever had, prepared with the freshest ingredients and utmost care. The staff at the restaurants were attentive and knowledgeable, enhancing the overall dining experience. One of the standout features of JR Hotel Clement Takamatsu is its array of facilities. The fitness center is well-equipped and maintained, allowing guests to keep up with their workout routines. I also took advantage of the hotel’s spa services, which were incredibly relaxing and rejuvenating. The massage I received was one of the best I’ve experienced, leaving me feeling completely refreshed. Additionally, the hotel’s rooftop bar offers a spectacular view of the city and the sea, making it an ideal spot to unwind in the evening. The hotel’s location is another significant advantage. Being adjacent to Takamatsu Station, it provides easy access to local transportation, making it convenient to explore the city and its surroundings. The nearby Ritsurin Garden, one of Japan’s most famous historical gardens, is a must-visit, and the hotel’s proximity to the ferry terminal makes it easy to take a day trip to the nearby islands of the Seto Inland Sea. The room was clean and bed was comfortable. They have discount for guest parking at a parking lot located at another site close to the hotel. Very close to the big shopping street in Takamatsu.

リ―ガホテルを名乗っているから、期待して宿泊しましたが、がっかりさせられました。まず浴槽の縁に前宿泊者の髪の毛が束ねられたまま放置。お湯を張って入浴する際に気付いたので、ギョッとしました。清掃は何を見てるんですか。ダブルチェックぐらいしないのですか。ホテルとしてサービス以前の信用問題です。次に朝食の際、素人以下の従業員がテンパっていて、席に案内されるまで私を含め4人が10分近く入り口で待たされました。まともなオペレーションをできるようになってから現場に出すべきでサービスの価値ZEROです。朝から気分悪くなりました。朝食も見た目は良いのですが、味は吉野家の朝食以下でした。

Booked this double room for my parents. Very clean and spcious room with private toilet and tub. Conveniently located at a shopping street with a supermarket right next to the hotel. Plenty of restaurants and shops nearby. Staff very helpful and friendly. Highly recommended.

I travelled with a group and wanted another room. I asked for one and was told there were none available. I subsequently went upstairs and and checked Trip.com and found the room. The staff lie, not a very good welcome. Won't stay again because of this.

JR高松駅からは少し離れていて、琴電の瓦町駅が近いホテルです。 高松駅から歩くなら徒歩20分です。兵庫町の商店街と中央商店街をしばらく歩き、1本曲がったところにあります。 ホテル周辺は飲み屋が多いですが、予想していたよりは静かでした。 バストイレ別のホテルですが、洗面台がベッドの横にあるのでその点は好みが分かれるかもしれません。洗面台がもう少し大きいと良いと思いました。 部屋は大きめのキャリーバッグだと何とか広げられるか、少し厳しい広さのため、連泊期間が長いなら必要な荷物を絞ったほうが良さそうです。

I’ve separated 2 booking for 4D3N and 2D1N in the consecutive days here, hotel staff very helpful to arrange the same room for us that we don’t need to move in between. Thank you so much!!!

駅周辺からは少し距離がありますが、リーズナブルな価格で宿泊できる格式あるホテルです。讃岐うどんの旅で利用したため、多賀町にある行列の出来る有名店に、朝一番の散歩がてら徒歩でアクセス（２０分弱）できたのが良かったです。それ以外も、駐車場が２４時間出入自由だったで、何気に便利でした。 部屋はスタンダードツインを利用しました。広くはないですが、不自由はなく、綺麗な部屋で掃除も行き届き、快適でした。 高松に滞在する際は、また利用したいホテルです。
