Pico Sand Hotel is the best place to relax with loved ones. It offers an awesome view of the beach. The breakfast buffet had a variety of delicious foods. We will definitely stay here when we visit again.

From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm hospitality and a sense of tranquility that permeated throughout our entire experience. The room was impeccably clean, exuding a sense of comfort and relaxation. The breathtaking view of the Taal Volcano from our window was simply mesmerizing, adding an extra layer of charm to our stay. We found ourselves captivated by the beauty of nature right outside our doorstep. The accommodations provided exceeded our expectations in every way. The amenities were modern and well-maintained, ensuring that we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The staff were friendly and attentive, always ready to assist with any requests or inquiries we had. During our time at Taal Vista, we had the opportunity to indulge in the culinary delights offered at the hotel's restaurants. Each meal was a culinary masterpiece, showcasing the vibrant flavors of Filipino cuisine. The dining experience was further enhanced by the stunning views of the surrounding landscape, creating a truly unforgettable dining experience. Overall, our stay at Taal Vista was nothing short of exceptional. We avail the summer promo of Forest Crest. We availed the Skylight Deluxe room with complimentary Breakfast and 1 time snack for two and 1 AVP ride for 15min. The room is spacecious. It has small sala with televesion and a cable box. A round table with 2 seats. A long marble table and a mini ref and of course a toilet and bathroom. I requested for a King size bed but the biggest size they have is a queen. The facilities or should I say the room in general was not maintained. There are debris of small cement on toilet sink falling from the ceiling. Top layer of the cabinet is dirty. No shampoo/soap holder inside the shower. The shower has build up of water calcium. Inconsistency on hot shower. Even if you set it to hot, after a minute, the water becomes cold so you have to wait again for water to become hot. The bath towel is a bit smelly. Its like it was not dried under the sun after the laundry. Poor internet connection. No phones, you need to call the reception via mobile phone. There are number of activities you can do on the hotel. You need to pay though but the price is not expensive. The staffs are friendly and accommodating. We ate to their Italian restaurant. The Salmon is overcooked and the chicke is dry. Need to improve their cooking skills. During breakfast, the hotel is not that strictly implementing social distancing and wearing a mask. It should be, you wear your mask when getting food at the buffet table and remove the mask when seating and eating on dining table. Hope they improve the implemetation of health protocol. They also have spa and indoor pool for those who wanted to avail massage.

I stayed here for a four night visit, the rooms are spacious and very clean with most mod cons. The garden area and restaurant are kept well and spotless. The jacuzzi was broken unfortunately. The menu is mostly western based at western prices. I had a seafood fettuccine and I had to search for the seafood through a bed of oily pasta that had a sauce made from fried tomato with no hint of garlic , herbs or anything that makes a Neapolitan sauce, needless to say I stopped at that. Second night the aircon broke and I was moved downstairs with a smaller bed therefore I was disappointed when I was slugged a charge fee when I dropped a cup of tea on the bed sheets. To digress the general area has very little to offer, I get the impression this is a getaway for Manila residents to escape the hustle and bustle, the advertised water activities include a trip to another beach which has a few bamboo huts and a chance to take a photo, the snorkelling advertised is a trip to the nearby reef which is desolated and dead from years of exploitation, the general area reminds me of Cambodia twenty years ago, chronically underdeveloped which in all fairness is no reflection on the resort itself. Last but not least there is a 10 percent surcharge on everything making it a pretty expensive venture. Oversees tourists would benefit going to other seaside destinations that asia has to offer.

NuukTaal is a very special place. An amazing setting on Lake Taal just west of Talisay, the dramatic and some times tragic history of the lake and volcano present a stark contradiction to the serenity and beauty of this landscape. The hotel service and food are outstanding and the staff are as attentive, kind and overly polite people I’ve met. Absolutely beautiful and interesting respite. Will absolutely look forward to returning.

The room was very basic and small with hardly any space to walk around. However, it was at an acceptable level of cleanliness. The walk area around the main building is nice. The staff was friendly and welcoming. We were served a complimentary welcome drink and breakfast the next morning. The only downside is the location. At the time of booking, I didn't realize it would be so far outside. There are hardly any fast-food restaurants within walking distance so had to take the tricycle.

The airbnb is good and the staff are accomodating and friendly however we are not be able to try the beach because its far from the place itself. We are not aware that the 5 to 6 minutes travel time from tge beach to the house is only applicable if you have a car but in our case we dont so it is kind of hassle for us. Also, we are not informed that there is a new policy in the beach that you cannot swim if you wont avail a cottage which cost 1k for the cheapest but the cottage is not that good looking. But our group still manage to have fun because the caretaker/staff are very friendly and nice.

My 2nd home in Matabungkay and definitely i give them more than 200% excellent service. We are very satisfied with our stay in this resort. from time we arrived until we left, we were treated very well like a family. Everyone of them, as in literally all of them, always made sure that we had everything we needed. All staff was very helpful and attentive to our needs. they provided us everything we needed even before we ask them to. special thanks to Sir Joel na sobrang accommodating samin :). I'm Planning to go back again soon. Would definitely recommend this place.

My last visit was 2 years ago.. and yesterday I tried it again (Sept 11-12) When we arrived the room is not yet ready and waited for 20 mins before releasing the room. The FO duty gave me the WIFI password for 2 devices only. while waiting we already connected to the wifi however when we arrived at the room the signal is so week and no internet connection. We called assistance, the IT officer went to our room and check.. He offered other wifi connection but still not working.. He went to our room thrice but the connection is not FIXED. ” wala man lang pasensya na po Maam,. kasi ganito ganyan,,,... Ang sabi lang niya is ”Malakas naman po ang internet bakit kaya di naconnect?” Connected naman daw ang phone nya bakit samin ay hindi. Para sabihin ko lang din Hindi outdated ang phone namin and Samsung naman. I am telling you dis cuz ito din nagig problem ko from last stay ko.. And ngayon di pa padin nag babago, walang improvement. Second, BOTTLED WATER. Nilagay namin sa ref yung 2 tubig then nung iinumin na namin.. don lang namin napasin na bawas na pala ung isang bote. Then sakto may dumaan na housekeeping sinabi ko ung about sa tubig. and yes wala nanaman sinabing ”pasensya or whatsoever” wala kumuha lang sya ng tubig.. tinanong ko pala sya kung libre lang ba ung tubig kung mag add sabi nya OO so pinalitan naman nya ung tubig namin 4 na bote ang binagay nya.. so ito na nga Gabi na ubos na ang tubig namin,. tumawag ako sa FO to refill again the water and sabi is MAY BAYAD na daw. Php 70 isang bote ng Summit Water 500ML. WOW. I am also working sa hotel pero ang tubig is libre kahit gaano kadami ang hingin.. my bayad man ang tubig pero un is kung ung branded talaga na bottled water. 500 ml na summit is 15 pesos lang... So namahalan ako.. ginawa ko nag padeliver nalang ako. Third, Last day.. I ask the FOA if possible for late check out. 1PM lang naman.. Ang sagot lang nya sakin is ... Ay Maam, hindi ko po alam tatanong ko lang po sa Supervisor. But nung time na un is sya palang naak duty so sabi ko babalikan ko nalang sya.. So, Over all.. I think, NEED ng staffs nyo ng training on how to answer queries.complain,concern ng guets.. Okay naman ung hotel nyo sana kaso if ganon ang staffs nyo pumapangit ang Image.
