Hotel Naxos dengan Kolam Renang

My wife & I stayed at this hotel for 9 nights. It is a family run hotel close to Saint George's beach, and 15 mins walk into the capital Chora. It has a lovely pool, but unfortunately, it is not accessible until 11 am. each day, but you can use the sunbeds until the pool opens. The rooms are well equipped with a walk-in shower, but it does cause some flooding as the shower screen is above the floor, but we lived with it! The beds are comfortable, and linen is changed every 3-4 days. The best bit is that clean towels are provided every day, and pool or beach tools are available, too. The furnishings in the hotel & rooms are getting a little tired now in general but are kept spotlessly clean by the Maids. The beach is lovely with several beach bars, but expect to pay between 30- 60 euros for 2 beds and a shade per day. The town is really busy in the evenings, and the restaurants get pretty full by about 8 pm We found the restaurants along the beach much better quality food than in the town, as they mainly serve fast food. There are many shops, and the old market lanes are quaint and full of small shops, bars & restaurants. We would recommend this hotel for its location and value for money.

We had a lovely stay at the Galaxy. The room was spacious and very clean. The pool area is beautiful and the service is excellent. Elena at the front desk was incredibly informative, pleasant, and very welcoming. We were surprised at how close the beach was to the property! The old town is also a 10 minute walk where everything is happening. We would not hesitate to return. Thanks for a great experience in Naxos!

Μείναμε σε αυτό το υπέροχο ξενοδοχείο στη Νάξο και η εμπειρία μας ήταν απλά εξαιρετική! Το ξενοδοχείο βρίσκεται σε ιδανική τοποθεσία, μόλις 5 λεπτά με τα πόδια από τη Χώρα, γεγονός που το καθιστά πολύ βολικό για να εξερευνήσετε το νησί χωρίς να χρειάζεστε μεταφορικό μέσο. Οι χώροι του ξενοδοχείου ήταν πεντακάθαροι και περιποιημένοι, κάτι που μας έκανε να αισθανθούμε πολύ άνετα από την πρώτη στιγμή. Το πρωινό ήταν νόστιμο. Η μεγαλύτερη εντύπωση, ωστόσο, μας άφησε η ιδιοκτήτρια, η κυρία Φωτεινή. Πριν καν φτάσουμε, η κυρία Φωτεινή ήταν εξαιρετικά ευγενική και πρόθυμη να μας βοηθήσει σε κάθε μας ανάγκη, κάτι που πραγματικά εκτιμήσαμε. Δεν έχουμε καμία αμφιβολία πως θα επισκεφτούμε ξανά αυτό το ξενοδοχείο στο μέλλον, και έχουμε ήδη ενημερώσει την οικογένειά μας για να μην χρειάζεται να ψάξουν για ξενοδοχείο όταν επισκεφθούν τη Νάξο – είναι σίγουρο ότι θα μείνουν εδώ! Συστήνουμε ανεπιφύλακτα αυτό το ξενοδοχείο για μια αξέχαστη διαμονή στη Νάξο! We stayed at this wonderful hotel in Naxos, and our experience was simply outstanding! The hotel is in an ideal location, just a 5-minute walk from the town center (Chora), making it very convenient to explore the island without needing a vehicle. The hotel premises were spotless and well-maintained, which made us feel very comfortable from the moment we arrived. The breakfast was delicious. However, what left the greatest impression on us was the owner, Mrs. Fotini. Even before we arrived, Mrs. Fotini was incredibly kind and eager to assist with any of our needs, which we truly appreciated. We have no doubt that we will visit this hotel again in the future, and we have already informed our family so they don’t have to search for a hotel when they visit Naxos – they are sure to stay here! We highly recommend this hotel for an unforgettable stay in Naxos!

We enjoyed 4 nights here. The hotel is great and rooms spacious and clean - which accommodated the 4 of us. Breakfast is good with a lot of variety - same goes for the poolbar. Pool great too - and the beach is even better! Only downside is the hotel charges 20€ for 2 sunbeds, and that adds up if you need 4 sunbeds for 4 days… would definitely prefer them to be free if you buy drinks at the bar! The beach has super clear water and amazing sunsets! We walked the beach each night either to restaurants or just for a gyros on the beach. The bus stops right outside the hotel and it can take you to the harbor in 40 Minutes for 1.80€ per person. Taxis to the harbor flatrated to 35€. Naxos definitely worth a visit.

Un très bon séjour, l’hôtel se trouve à 2min de la plage et pas très loin du centre (Port). Le nettoyage est fait tous les jours, c’est un vrai plus. Sauf que l’enregistrement se fait dans un autre hôtel; il y a juste une affiche qui vous indique l’emplacement de l’hôtel pour le check-in. Sinon le personnel est très gentil. Le lit n’est pas très confortable malheureusement. Je recommande.

Negatives: Dingy dark rooms. Weak, non-adjustable shower . Broken, rickety shower screen that leaked water onto the floor. No shelf in bathroom for toiletries Old, tired tiles and decor. Rooms extremely basic, no provisions other than a cheap, plasticky tiny bar of soap that melted when you used it. Could feel the springs through the mattress. No kettle in room. Tiny balcony overlooking broken, dirty water feature. No pool towels provided. Extremely basic breakfast, just a bit of fruit, dried cakes, over heated eggs - we ended up going out every day for breakfast. Coffee machine broken for 2 days before it was fixed. Badly arranged breakfast area where everyone fought over one tiny corner for cups, spoons, hot water and coffee. Hotel is surrounded by noisy, main roads. Plastic bags and wet wipe at bottom of pool one day, everyone's sun cream floating on the water as there is no poolside shower. 3 umbrellas at pool-side, 4 empty stands missing umbrellas so it was hard to get shade. Tired, grubby paintwork all over the hotel, a refresh would make a world of difference. Dead looking cacti all around the grounds. You cannot operate the electricity whilst you're out of your room as the electricity card is attached to the door keys, so you can't charge phone etc whilst you're at the pool. Positives: Pool is huge and great for swimming in (when clean) Lovely staff, especially Katerina, Stefania and Mariella, who were helpful friendly and kind, and provided maps, a portable umbrella for the beach and Katerina was exceedingly helpful when we damaged our hire car, she made a very stressful situation much easier. Brilliant location, easily walkable into the Chora. There are fantastic restaurants and bars starting within a 5 minute walk of the hotel, and you're in the old town within 10. There is a nice looking open air cinema a minute away from the hotel if that's your thing. Useful, well stocked supermarket is right next door to the hotel. The upside of being on such a busy main road is that you can get around easily by car or bus to all the main parts of the island. This is a hotel of two halves, and staying there did not ruin our trip at all because there were some positives and it was so well located, but it is nothing like it looks in the photos in reality. Some elements mean it's a push to call it 3 stars, more like a 2 star with a great pool. All it would take would be a lick of paint inside and out, some nice plants, better quality breakfast, umbrellas round the whole pool and a few basic provisions in the rooms. But keep the staff, they are the hotel's real selling point, and if you're on a budget, it does the job. It was booked for us by a travel agent so we not sure of the overall cost but per night prices seem reasonable.
