We stayed 3 nights during Christmas and our room had a view overlooking the pyramids. We enjoyed both the sunset and the sound & light shows at the balcony. The room was basic and the breakfast was simple, but the price was absolutely reasonable. Hotel staff were friendly and helpful. The only downside was that the food was a bit cold. Overall, the hotel is recommended.

The excellent review is primarily based on the service from the staff at the hotel that were very frendly and did their best to make us feel good during our stay. Special thanks to Abdo for the great experiance, and Mahmood for the nicely arranged day trips. The view from the room with a balcony is also great. However, there are plenty of things for the managment to upgrade in order to get a realistik 'excellent' review. First of all - breakfast ain't no buffet. It might see like a lot from a first sight, but 4 pieces af some kind of ham, 2 pcs. og cheese and 2 pcs. of butter is pretty much enogh for just one sandwich pr. person (we were two). There were though other food choices on the table, so you don't end up hungry, but after all the breakfast is all the same, so there is not variabillity .. There is only one choice of juice - orange. Coffee is paid separetly (we got it for free). Overbooking issues - on the first night, our room was not available, and we were transferred to a different hotel (far under avarage quallity), so we had to put up a 'fight' to get our originally booked room the day after. If you book a room on the last floor, be prepared from the annoying noice for table moving on the rooftop every morning around 6.30 am. The last two days, were pretty much a noice disaster, due to construction work, that in a normal world, should be done when the hotel has no guests.. After all i'd saiy you get what you pay for - we got it cheap, and that says it all :) A tip for other travellers: Always negotiate your price and never say yes to the first offer when it comes to a day trips, transfers etc. When you hear that it can not be done cheaper - keep pushing until you get the realistic price you want.

Booking this hostel is only because of the view of top roof restaurant. The view is excellent and the food is also good, especially when there are not much options at that area. However, the room and the services provided by the hotel staff are all over our expectation. Value for money!

The reason to stay is the view. But we booked a standard room without view as would have it during breakfast.
Arrived and did not have our room so put is in a room with view Nd then moved us to standard room. The reason to book anywhere for two nights is to relax.
I said no to upgrade that's how I found out they did not have my room. I wanted to Unpack a little and have stuff out. Not have to pack up before being picked up on tour.
Sales pitch expected as poor area.
Breakfast was way too much, very tasty
Roof views are great and across the road from entry gate to pyramid.
Area is very poor, motel sent a footman with me to teller and back so would be safe.this was great help to me but gives you an indication of the area. You have to stay this close of U want to look out and see the pyramid so close.
Overalls I don't think a bad stay, bed sheets clean, staff nice although push for review, but after seeing the area these people need tourist work to survive.

Here’s a more enthusiastic version: The hotel was absolutely fantastic if you're looking for something simple yet charming! They offered free WiFi and delicious breakfasts. I was so surprised when they went out of their way to liaise with my dad to arrange a birthday cake for me—such a sweet gesture! The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, always checking in to make sure we were happy. And if you want to stay close to the Giza Pyramids and enjoy a breathtaking view while having breakfast, this is the perfect spot! Huge thanks to everyone for making our stay so memorable, especially Mustafa, the big boss, who ensured everything ran smoothly. We miss you all already! Firstly, do not be put off by the entrance, which is off a busy street, next to construction, on a sandy side road. Looks are deceiving. As soon as we arrived and were greeted very warmly by the dear elderly concierge, who guided us up the sing-song elevator, we held our thoughts until we arrived on the top floor. The entire team are incredibly hospitable, accommodating and happy to go out of their way to ensure your comfortable stay. The Inn has stunning views of the pyramids. From the shared balcony, we watched the sunset, the light show and an incredible sunrise. Our room for 4 pax was perfect, with a king and 2 twins, very clean, a/c, Netflix etc. The shower had great pressure and super hot water, just the cure needed after a day meandering around the pyramids. I loved the breakfast; a wide assortment of Egyptian delicacies, as well as eggs to order. We left happily satisfied. We stayed just one night and then proceeded to Cairo but I would not hesitate to recommend Khan Duidar for views and value.

EEsee MunkhIf this hotel is in your budget, JUST BOOK IT! You can’t find any hotel that is better than this. I swear, Al Farida is one of the 2 best hotels in Giza!
I was searching for a Giza hotel for over 2 weeks, yet couldn’t find any. Decided to get a hotel after I arrive in Giza by seeing with my own eyes and chose this one.
THIS HOTEL IS BRAND NEW, 2 months old as of January, 2025. When you enter the room, you’d smell wood from new furnitures, very pleasant. Shower is nice, instantly hot.
Location is very good, 50-100 meters from the entrance of Giza Pyramids but no smell of horse and camel dung. As it’s so close to the pyramids, the view from the rooftop is breathtaking as well…
Staff are amazing as well. Lovely Muhamed (both), Eslam, Tahir… They’re all fantastic, will make your stay great. Also, you’ll see the cutest bellboys there (only 15,17 years old).
In short, JUST BOOK IT. Hotel rooms look exactly like on the pics. Don’t hesitate. Trust me!
Minor issues to fix: Curtains were half in our room, breakfast and food takes more than 30 minutes.

Oh my goodness, where do I begin🙂? Lodging at the Pyramid On The Spot View was one of the best decisions I made while planning our vacation to Egypt. Prior to our arrival, I was in steady contact with an hotel employee by the name of Ahmed. Although, there is 8 hours difference between our countries, Ahmed responses were always prompted. My husband and I booked roundtrip airport transportation and 3 days of events/tours/excursions with the hotel... all for a great price. Ahmed was our tour guide and was with us daily. We also had a driver by the name of Ali. He is the absolute best driver to navigate the unlabled streets in parts of Egypt🤣. The hotel is situated in the heart of Giza. The area is not a luxury tourist area, here, one will get the cultural feel of what it's like to really reside in Giza. The hotel features an outdoor rooftop for dining, which has an incredible view of the pyramids. The hotel not only offers an amazing view, comfortable lodging with crisp, wrinkle-free linens, fresh white towels, tasty meals and drinks daily; they also offer deals you can't beat for tours, along with roundtrip transportation to/from the airport. Your well-being and comfortability is top priority to the staff during your stay. It is 100% genuine, not forced. Everyone had a pleasant and approachable aura about them. As a frequent traveler, I always look at reviews prior to booking any hotel/resort. This hotel does not have many reviews due to it being fairly new but I would insist on giving them a try. In a few months, getting a room here will be hard to come by. Please do not hesitate to book a stay here. Oh and the owner Fatma is amazing🙂. She's a force to be reckon with in the hotel/tourism industry. We absolutely love the hotel and the people who work there. MMd FaizalIts a new hotel and the room is very comfortable and spacious. Modern design and the air conditioning is great. The staff are fantastic and friendly. Breakfast buffet is average spread. The rooftop view is just breathtaking and you can just enjoy the looking at all the 3 Pyramids all day. Location is a bit difficult to find but definitely be staying here again if I come back to Giza.

PPengguna TetamuFantastic value. Pretty basic but clean and comfortable. The big plus here is the team running it. It’s a family and absolutely nothing is too much trouble. Food and beer if you wish is brought in except breakfast which is done in house and is delicious but simple. The views are amazing, you’re yards from the pyramids gate, but some local construction has intruded just a bit. A previous review mentioned the state of the lane accessing the hotel. This has now been sorted and it’s now paved (the owners of a few local properties clubbed together to get it done) and very clean. I’d strongly recommend you book all your trips through the owner Mohammed. OK, you’ll probably pay a bit more but the guys he uses as guides and drivers are trusted friends or family and it’s in his interest to not organise a bad day out. Rambo in particular was great. Corruption and hassling tourists is big ticket stuff here, using trusted guys will ensure you don’t get ripped off when out and about. You’ll save money and grief in the long run! Overall, great value, lovely people, basic but safe, clean and I’d be back in a heartbeat. Thanks to all the team there for a wonderful experience.

PPengguna TetamuFantastic hotel! It is just in front of the pyramids so you can go there by a walk. You can see perfectly the ”sound and lights” show there, it has the most beautiful views from its rooftop and you can have dinner in its restaurant (sandwiches, pizza, pasta, egyptian food and so on). This is the perfect choice.

PPengguna TetamuWe traveled to this place with our infant with the only expectation of getting a pyramids view and considering the heat, flexibility to be very close to the pyramids at Giza. The location is one of the best in the vicinity, and gives a direct view of the Sphinx. We were welcomed by warm staff (Duniya) and greeted to the terrace wherein the pyramids and the sphinx were lit at night. It was a dusty evening, but the overall atmosphere was great. The incident that has set this stay apart from the others was a personal episode. The next day we chose to visit the major locations of Cairo side like the NMEC and Khan-al-Khalili, and some shopping. En route, my wife lost her phone and we were extremely stressed out in the evening, with all her contacts and memories on the phone. This is the instance when the hospitality of the hotel came into picture. Nearly everyone on the reception staff was aware of the situation, and they started going out of their way to help her. Be it calling the taxi at night and asking (more like instructing) to do whatever it takes to find the phone, to go at each and every place in Cairo and Giza we had been. Language is a constraint, and at each and every instant we wanted a person of trust to translate Arabic to English for us, and in addition, to provide guidance. Ashour at the reception constantly kept calling on my phone to ask updates. They even arranged for a late breakfast for us. To cut the story, we did FIND the phone and there was a happy story in the end. I have to place emphasis on the fact, that Cairo and Egypt functions on a different set of principles that involves a lot of over selling. If we can separate that emotion, and trust on such people who are really willing to help (they still might want to sell you a package ;)), sets the experience apart. They even treated our young kid with a friendship band. The restaurant food quality could be improved, but please remember, first and foremost its a tourist place with a very high footfall. I would like to visit Cairo again, and without a beat stay at this place. Thanks Duniya and Ashour for us to make our stay a very memorable one.

The good… Staff on the front desk are super friendly. Very helpful. Very happy to help with travel, tours and aways welcome you back with a smile and a chat after a trip out. Fantastic view of the pyramids, with a roof top terrace where. you can sit at any time of the day, with no pressure to buy drinks. Very close to the entrance to the pyramids. Free taxi from the airport. Easily found the driver on arrival. It’s a cheap place to stay. The not so good… The hotel is in a back alley, along side where the horses are stabled for the evening. We were there in February so the smell wasn’t to bad. But the horses run freely in the evening so it can be a bit nervy getting past them sometimes. Breakfast was basic. Mediocre. No orange juice included just tea or coffee. Hotel room isn’t to clean. Shower door missing. Sheets were clean but top quilts were dirty and stained. Very unappealing! It could all do with a good scrub. We did have a view of the pyramids but directly outside the window is a lot of debris, dirt and rubbish. At around 5.30 the local roaster starts to crow and continues for around an hour on and off.

Llucila Del Rosario RomeroStaying at Phoenix pyramids View it filled me with great joy to be in this hotel, and share with all its staff. And it's super cheap. The fresh, nutritious and very varied breakfast. Since before my arrival in Egypt, they were very careful that everything was fine. The service from the airport to the hotel was completely free. Then upon arrival, Mr. Hany gave me a small tour around the area and introduced me to his friends from other hotels and businesses around, who kindly and as a courtesy gift gave me fruits and water. In the morning an excellent breakfast with the spectacular view and unique of the great Pyramids. The tours they offer are different places and you can feel in this hotel like your home and with your family. Thank you d do o much to Mr Hany (from Human Resources management) Hossam (the driver) and all the people who is part of the staffs. Shukran jazilan. Hamdoullah! I hope to see all of you soon INCHALLAH 🪴🙏

Apart from the view of the pyramids theres is nothing good about this hotel. The room was clean but had a saggy bed which wasnt at all comfortable. There was also no kettle in the room even though on the description on *********** it said there is a kettle in the room.. I got ripped off with the price. I booked on *********** and the cost should have been £138 they charged me £168 when i asked why the receptionist Mahmoud said commission. So i let it go no point in arguing. I then asked about the wifi which wasnt working and didnt work all week i was there. The first morning i asked where is breakfast and was told on the roof. So up i went and breakfast was a bread roll a triange of cheese and a yogurt served on a polystyrene tray covered in cling film and was absolutely disgusting. When i asked about the price to the Meidum pyramid i was told a ridiculous figure of 200 dollars, i did it myself with a local taxi for 50 dollars. Would never ever stay in or recommend this hotel. Its bad and the staff are not friendly or helpful.
