1 nacht verbleven en het weekend ivm bezoek aan een kerstmarkt. Met 3 personen op een kamer en €130 betaald. Hotel is wat verouderd, beetje oubollig zakenhotel maar wel netjes en het personeel vriendelijk. Ontbijt werd prima aangevuld, het was druk en er werd goed geholpen met het vinden van een plekje in de ontbijtruimte. Wel last gehad van kinderen die om 23.00 uur schreeuwend over de gang renden.

L'hôtel est extrêmement excentré. Cela ne semblait pas être un problème à la réservation dans la mesure où l'hôtel est supposé être plutôt bien desservi par les transports. Cependant, l'hôtel déclare être à deux minutes du métro. Cette station est en effet présente, mais est la dérivation d'une ligne avoisinante. La station est fermée le soir et le dimanche et est désservie une fois toute les 30 minutes. Une autre station à 7 minutes de marche à pied dans un quartier d'affaire et désert le soir (et donc pas très sécurisant) s'impose donc la plupart du temps, et l'hôtel omet cette information de son site. De plus, cette autre station n'est désservie que toutes les 20 minutes. Comptez donc au moins une demi-heure pour rejoindre le centre-ville, ce qui réduit toute possibilité de repasser à l'hôtel pour se changer avant d'aller dîner par exemple. L'accueil est plutôt amical, mais la réceptionniste qui était présente pendant la quasi-totalité de mon séjour semblait de moins en moins sympathique lorsqu'on avait besoin d'elle. Par exemple, je ne parvenais pas à faire fonctionner le coffre-fort et visiblement elle non plus. Aucun mode d'emploi n'était mis à la disposition des clients ni du personnel semble-t-il. Une atre personne est venue voir si elle pouvait faire quelque chose et devait revenir vers moi, mais cela n'a jamais été le cas. J'ai donc dû me débrouiller moi-même. En attendant de trouver une solution le 2ème jour, j'ai dû confier certains de mes effets personnels à la réception afin qu'ils soient entreposés dans le coffre fort central. En raison de clients ayant fumé dans leur chambre d'après les membres du personnel de l'hôtel, le signal d'alarme à été automatiquement activé pendant la première nuit, et nous avons tous dû être évacués, dans la rue, avec une température de 10°C. Je dois dire que j'ai été impressionné par la réactivité du personnel qui à distribué des couvertures aux enfants et qui s'est montré à l'écoute des interrogations des clients en revenant dans l'hôtel. J'ajoute qu'ils semblait bien connaître et appliquer à la lettre un plan d'urgence. Le petit déjeuner était de belle qualité.

Big hotel not far from train station, 10 minutes walk, good location in general, metro station right next to hotel. Great and very helpful staff.
Rooms are old and not very clean, but very big size and beds are comfortable.
Gym is tiny and doesn’t have many variables of machines. Food in restaurant is amazing! And very reasonable prices. I would recommend it for short stay

We have booked the twin beds room - nice room with nice equipment,only thing is space a little bit tight for 2persons .
Location is good ,time is limited for us to go around.
Breakfast is more than plenty ,you really can enjoy it ...
A gentleman is very helpful when we drove out of garage without the receipt,he came to us and did a help ,unfortunately didn't know his name .

Gestern zu zweit im Restaurant. Zuerst wird Brot und Butter gereicht. Die (gesalzene) Butter schmeckt leicht salzig und - leicht ranzig. Meine Begleitung bestätigt, dass die Butter einen „Stich“ habe. Leise bitte ich an der Küche um neue Butter. Wenige Minuten später erscheint eine weibliche Servicekraft - mit leeren Händen: „Der Koch hat probiert. Er sagt, die Butter ist nicht ranzig, sie ist gesalzen.“ Für einen Moment sprachlos, starre ich die Bedienung an, eine Frau am Nebentisch dreht sich kopfschüttelnd um. Dann muss ich tatsächlich ein weiteres Mal um neue Butter bitten. „Gesetzt den Fall, ich hätte mich geirrt - was nicht der Fall ist - würden Sie mir dann wohl bitte nichtsdestotrotz ein neues Stückchen Butter bringen??“ Die erbettelte „neue“ Butter wurde uns dann von einer weiteren Servicekraft überreicht. Danke auch … Das weitere Essen war übrigens gut, nicht sehr gut, aber gut. Gottlob gibt es genügend Restaurants im Umfeld, wo der Gast noch König ist.

I stayed in this hotel for about 3 weeks, and I can say that I had a goodtime. I can say that the rooms are a bit outdated, but with great pleasure I can say that the staff is very available to requests and to offer the best solutions available. Reception staff are very courteous and professional. The restaurant staff is always available and with a smile on their faces, and ready to welcome guests. The breakfast offers a wide range of food, and the menu with dishes is varied. I conclude by saying that it was a nice stay, and I would like to compliment the staff for their professionalism.

MMicolLa struttura è nuova e ben curata. Il servizio del personale è gentile e professionale. La colazione è davvero ottima, c'è tanta scelta e tutto scelto con cura e estrema attenzione al cliente. Era la prima volta che soggiornavo in questa struttura e mi è stato regalata una sistemazione di benvenuto oltre le mie aspettative con una camera più grande rispetto la media, super spaziosa e provvista di ogni confort. Anche se leggermente lontano dall'aereoporto, la struttura è a una 15 di minuti dal centro di Burgplatz che consiglio di andare a visitare specialmente nel periodo di Natale con un piccolo mercatino tipico.

PPengguna TetamuLocation was great. Close to Dusseldorf and Mochengladbach. An U-Bahn stop right in front of the hotel. (On-site) Parking was not an issue. If you want to check in during off hours a phone call/email to the hotel, or self check-in at the front door of the hotel will do. Room was clean and quiet. Yes it's tiny but sufficient to a family of four in our case. While the name B&B suggests bed and breakfast, breakfast is not automatically included but can be purchased on site. We got yelled at because we did not purchase the breakfast in advance and walked in and prepared to eat. But wait! We can always pay for it (later) right? The staff covering the morning shift that day argued that people 'normally' pay first (so we can not pay later?!).... To be fair, the dining area was clean and welcoming, and foods were there. There were no signages saying that 'Please pay before sitting down' or 'Please wait here to be seated'. The bottom line is that there is no reason to yell at people, right? Just kindly put down a bill/check would yield a much better travel experience. How did the entire incidence end? We paid for the breakfast, but did not eat anything. We walked across the street and had our breakfast at the McDonald's. We did not want to eat in a bad mood with a rude staff.

PPengguna TetamuThis is a business hotel ideal for conferences Hotel is remote from the city of Düsseldorf. Rooms are basic with very low quality thin pillows and a very light blanket. Breakfast and internet are good. Within a walking distance there are some shops and restaurants. Not for holidays. Staff was very polite and helpful.

Fantastic hotel with excellent staff. Beds comfy, plenty choice at continental breakfast. Well looked after as we sat and had a few beers before we all went out. Prices reasonable. Stayed 13th - 24th for euros. Ideal 709 tram into busy old town in Düsseldorf but only a few mins walk into quieter Neuss. Only downside was lift not working and there didn’t seem to be much activity on the “fixing” it during our stay. Staying 411 so bit of a struggle with case 😆 Maybe a toaster at breakfast? But all in all a great stay.
