Ulasan Hotel Hari Piorko - New Delhi Railway Station

I was truly satisfied with my stay at Hari Piorko. The accommodation fee was reasonable, the room was spacious, and the bed was very comfortable, allowing me to sleep soundly and recover from my fatigue. There was no noise at all; although the hotel faces a main street, my room was at the back, so it was quiet. The staff at Shigeta Travel were incredibly helpful, assisting with everything from arranging a SIM card to exchanging currency in Japanese and offering local advice, which made my trip to India enjoyable and worry-free. The hotel reception staff were also kind and welcoming, making me feel the warmth of the Indian people. I didn't opt for breakfast, but 24-hour room service and breakfast options were available. I only ordered toast and lassi, which was very convenient. I highly recommend this hotel to Japanese travelers looking to stay in Main Bazaar and seeking cleanliness comparable to a Japanese business hotel. When I first saw Main Bazaar on YouTube, I was surprised by the powerful auto-rickshaws, bikes, and car horns. But seeing it in person, the energy was more than ten times greater, a place where the vitality of New Delhi is condensed. On my way to the hotel, nearly 20 Indians spoke to me, and I gave up trying to come from New Delhi Station. For those planning to come from New Delhi Metro Station, please be aware. Although it requires a transfer, I recommend coming to this hotel from the Ramakrishna Ashram Marg station on the Blue Line.

The location is convenient, but the service reflects the price. There was no hot water ( I don't know why)and towels were not provided until I asked.

We stayed in the room for 2 days. We finally got some good sleep after all the Indian hustle and bustle. Our room was clean and quiet. We were probably lucky not to have noisy neighbors, even though the soundproofing isn't great.

This hotel was near the train station and located on a very busy street with lots of food options. We only stayed for a short overnight. Room service food was good and they packed us some to go food for the next day. The bed was comfortable.

I think this hotel is recommended for Japanese people as well. It's easily accessible from New Delhi Station, and you can enjoy the view from the hotel window. Shampoo, body soap, and a hairdryer were provided, so I was very satisfied. If you're tired in India, this hotel is a great choice.

The hotel is currently undergoing renovations, so I recommend waiting until the renovations are complete to avoid the noise and strong paint smell in some common areas.

I stayed in Room 121 (2nd floor), which has a window facing the main street. The window is sealed and cannot be opened, so the noise level wasn't as high as I'd feared. It was fascinating to be able to watch the chaotic hustle and bustle of the city. Renovations are ongoing inside the hotel from morning until late at night, and construction tools are scattered throughout the hallway. A small cockroach appeared in the room on my first day. I caught it and put it out in the hallway. I haven't seen it since. The shower has a ceiling-mounted rain shower and a bottom-mounted faucet. The water flow is good. However, the shower is only available from 5:00 AM to 1:00 PM and from 8:00 PM to midnight, which can be inconvenient and requires caution. The water temperature barely rises after 10:00 PM. It feels like it's just water. Maybe it ran out of hot water? There was plenty of hot water in the morning. There's a TV and refrigerator. There's a powerful air conditioner and ceiling fan. I was also given extra bottled water. Amenities are minimal. There's a power outlet near the bed. Breakfast is served late, from 7:30 AM, and there are days when there is no buffet and you have to order. The custom-made holy basil poori was delicious. Shigeta Travel is located in the lobby area. They speak Japanese and have a good exchange rate. Tour arrangements are also reasonably priced. A fare to the airport is 600 rp. Laundry is available and will be done on the same day. The staff are all very friendly.

I had a room without a window and on the first floor. The bathroom smells like sewage, the room lacks fresh air. For one night it's a good option.
