These guys are awesome. The building looks great, too. We were only staying two nights before our flight home, so picked a standard room... which was okay. The welcome upon arrival was fantastic. You are politely asked to sit in a comfortable seat in the reception area whilst a succession of perfectly ***nered staff take care of the paperwork, mostly on electronic tablets, and bring you welcome drinks. First impressions mean a lot. After that, it just got better. Both Lunch and Dinner in their Garden Terrace restaurant were very enjoyable, the food good, with generous helpings. Unfortunately, I was carrying a lingering tummy bug with me from earlier in our trip and this returned (nothing to do with the Maidens hotel) and so I was not able to partake in their fantastic looking breakfast selection the following morning. A wonderful staff member called Devesh picked up on this, and took time to establish that I might be able to eat a specially prepared small bowl of porridge... made with water (bottled) instead of milk. Later, he returned to ask how I felt, and suggested that maybe a bigger bowl of the same might be welcome. I agreed, and am very grateful for his concern... and for his suggestion, which worked a treat, and set me up for the day ahead. The grounds of the hotel provide a perfect haven from the road outside the gates. Peacocks wander around, and there is a fantastic Banyan tree that is older than the hotel itself, well over a hundred years old. The swimming pool looked very inviting. Our room was very peaceful. In fact the hotel as a whole was. It was maybe only our bathroom which was slightly below par. A minor quibble. And I notice that Indian hotel bathrooms in general do seem to have a tendency to provide bathroom basin surrounds that become awash with surface water. We had a very early morning check out, and our airport shuttle was waiting on time, as was our breakfast to go - ordered the night before - in a sturdily impressive carry box. During our stay we made several attempts to tip the wonderful staff, but were courteously refused. We eventually found out that the hotel have a no tip policy, and that guests are encouraged to leave a gratuity in a sealed envelope at reception upon checking out. This is then shared equally between all staff members. We were very happy to follow this procedure. I have stayed in over a hundred hotels worldwide in the past fifteen years, and the staff here are the best, happiest, most motivated, and most sincere I have ever encountered. The Maidens hotel and its ***agement deserve full credit for this.

My stay at the Hotel Grand Godwin in Delhi in September was simply exceptional. This place made an imprint on my journey through the colorful city of Delhi from the moment I arrived until I said goodbye. The superb amenities and facilities at Hotel Grand Godwin are impressive. My room was an oasis of luxury, tastefully decorated, and immaculately kept. After a day of exploring, a pleasant sleep was guaranteed by the luxurious bed. The quality toiletries in the contemporary bathroom contributed to the convenience. The staff's exceptional service, however, was the most notable aspect. They were extremely commendable for their gracious hospitality and unwavering attention to detail. Particularly the tour ***ager organized a smooth trip to Delhi, with a carefully planned itinerary, transportation, and knowledgeable local advisors. The dining options at the hotel were equally amazing. I had delicious meals at the on-site restaurant, which had a varied menu to suit all preferences. The breakfast buffet was a daily treat that helped to start the day off right. The strategic position of Hotel Grand Godwin made it simple to reach Delhi's famous attractions and bustling markets, which improved the whole experience. In conclusion, I had an excellent stay at the Hotel Grand Godwin. It was a fantastic trip because to the spotless amenities, responsive staff, arranged Delhi excursion, and convenient location. I strongly advise anyone visiting Delhi, whether they are there for business or pleasure, to stay at this hotel. I eagerly anticipate my next chance to go back.

This is one of the best hostel in Delhi. It is situated in front of Delhi Gate Metro Gate no. 3. I am staying frequently at this place and always found the property neat and clean. At this hostel staff specially Ashutosh is very helpful and professional.

Great little hotel for a solo or couple traveling. Clean room, nice and clean bed, shr, free drinking water in the hallway. Close to the metro and Delhi main station. Few shops close by for snacks n drinks.

My wife and I stayed here for 2 nights, mainly as a base to travel to Agra (Taj Mahal) and largely only used the hotel for sleeping in. Pros: Check-in was fine, and the reception area was fairly welcoming. Note that the hotel is off the Main Street and quite narrow with a lot of traffic flowing through - be careful! The room was on the 3rd floor, and the hotel does operate elevators. The porter was very polite and friendly and gave a brief introduction to the room. The hotel arranged for a few items to be washed, which they did with no hassle AND free of charge! Finally, I requested an early morning taxi and the hotel arranged it for approx. £8 to the airport (less than an Uber). Cons: The hotel is quite dated in general, and do not expect luxury, or ‘deluxe’ as the name would suggest. The room, whilst reasonably sized and reasonably well equipped - was very aged and a little dirty. The bedsheets had scribbled writing on them and dirt marks, there were signs of dirt/mold all over the bathroom and the flush to the toilet when pressed, would not go off, firstly leading to a call to maintenance followed by a self-fix! Overall, I paid just over £50 a night as there were very limited options (less than £1000 p/n) available at short notice in Delhi, and with an early train to catch to Agra, the only reasonable hotel around. As far as a value for money, I would say if you’re used to 4*/5*, then avoid! However, if you are willing to compromise on a few ‘less than acceptable’ issues as above, then it’s not a terrible option, particularly compared to others in the £50-150 p/n range.

Very good place for a stopover/ night halt for connecting trains if you are travelling by train from/to New Delhi station. Walkable with family, even with luggage. You simply have to cross the street and get into a narrow alley (taxi cabs cannot get in, only autos/ totos can). Street food and convenience stores abound. Hotel room (we stayed in 101 - one double bed and one single) is spic and span, very cosy. We were 3 adults and 1 kid. Food was good and tasty, though options may be limited vis-a-vis the menu. ***y alternatives are there outside, but was not confident to try out as we had a kid. The hotel also packed food for us for our onward train journey.

What one looks in a hotel ? Hospitality & Service ? Well this place offers more than that. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The bathrooms are tiny yet maintained and the in house catering and restaurant offers scrumptious food. The staff is friendly and welcoming as soon as you enter the premises while the service is prompt although, it can get a little slow when the hotel is at capacity during wedding season. Services include room service, bar and restaurants, swimming pools, valet and rented vehicles. Will definitely suggest a stay here as the prices vary greatly depending on the season ranging between ( rs 8500-15500 ) and the plus point is, it is located right in the heart of city.
