(Pa)tricia Reay, after placing my reservation w/ *******, sent me an email stating I had to pay an extra $30 for my 3rd guest. I had a confirmation at the time for 3 people. We booked the Panoramic Cottage the bill states a specific total w/tax. She told us be we would be in the Fish Haus, she charges more for we latter found out from her personal website, not the ******* one. We tried to discuss this extra charge /w ******* they issued a certificate for future use. She said we could pay that extra fee when we arrived. Day before we were leaving to go there, she told me we would have an additional nominal cleaning fee of $20. At this point we could have stayed in a hotel because instead of paying the total on my reservation for one night we had to pay $54.99 more than our reservation total stated. We asked ******* to put us in the Panoramic Cottage. Apparently, she does not own a cottage by that name even though that is how it is advertised. She told ******* each room was exactly the same, if we did not want the Fish Haus we could stay in the other one as they were both available. (Wine Haus) because they were the same. They are not. Upon arrival we paid the additional money because at this point, I would lose all the money anyways. Only two dingy white towels in the bathroom. The shower door would not close all the way properly nor would the bathroom door. When we asked for more towels, she said there was one in the linen bag. The bathroom floor was clean, but the main floor was not. No curtains/blinds on the windows, sliding door or triangle windows. The other room guests could see right in if someone else stayed there.
