We were a party of two, but we only received one welcome drink, which was a bit odd, though not a dealbreaker. 2. The soundproofing could be improved as we could hear conversations from neighboring rooms quite clearly. 3. Also, the bathroom has a transparent/open design, so this might not be for everyone if you prefer more privacy. Despite those points, we enjoyed our time here!"

The hotel is conveniently located right across from the entrance of Jiufen old street. After the check in, we need to hand carry all luggages down three floors by ourselves which get us sweaty. We can refill the filtered drinking water at the lobby floor which is a bit inconvenient to walk up and down. I think there should be a refill station in every floor. The room has spectacular panoramic view of hills and sea. The room is also equipped with gadgets and small amenities around the room like Bluetooth speaker, electric motorized blind, hand grind, coffee dripping gear, and so on. There is a bathtub sitting by the windows. The bathroom is spacious and nice but lack storage and shelves. Breakfast is provided at another building across the street. The extent of services is very limited here but overall we're happy with the room and breakfast.

The room size is good, especially with an island and table for some laptop work! Scenery view from window was not as described because of the low level of the building, however is still good, toiletries and bathtub is good, with free coffee and teas and snacks. Breakfast choice is excellent except that luggage you need moved yourself coz there is no lift. Location is good nearby to the tourist attractions, beware of lots of stairs!

I recently stayed at this hotel and had a generally pleasant experience. The location was very convenient, making it easy to get around and explore nearby attractions. The room was clean and well-maintained, and the overall environment felt comfortable and relaxing. One of the highlights of my stay was the breakfast—it was really nice, with a good variety of options and quality food to start the day. The staff were also friendly and helpful, always willing to assist when needed, which made the stay smoother. Check-in and check-out processes were efficient as well. Overall, I would consider staying here again and would recommend it to others looking for a comfortable and convenient place to stay.

I don’t usually write negative reviews, but this time I can’t hold back. From the moment we checked in, this hotel showed a lack of professionalism. The staff seemed confused about basic procedures. Because we had to leave at 6:00 a.m. the next morning, we asked them to pack our breakfast in advance. They kept saying that their website states breakfast is only served from 8:00 a.m., which seems like blaming us. And they stalled for a long time before finally agreeing to pack our meals. When we arrived at our room, we discovered it was about 300 meters from the check-in area, reached by a narrow muddy mountain path and then a long stairway of 40 steps down to the entrance. With a 30-inch suitcase it was extremely difficult to reach the door. We asked for the staff to help us to send the lugggage to the room, they said they don't provide this service. Inside, the room’s facilities were very ordinary. At night we could hear staff arguing in the stairwell; it was after 10 p.m. and the noise was very disruptive. The next morning we asked for a later check-out, and they told us they would charge NT$1,000 per extra hour. For the price of NT$8,000, this was by far the worst service I’ve experienced in any hotel. I strongly do not recommend booking here.

A coffee lover’s retreat with stunning views of Keelung Harbor The Location: The hotel is conveniently situated right beside the police station and the corresponding bus stop. A minor but important tip: the entrance to the lit uphill stairs is just 10 meters away, making it easy to find even after dark. The Experience: • Reception: Checking in was a highlight. The floor-to-ceiling glass windows offer a fantastic, panoramic view of Keelung Harbor. • The Room: Very spacious and well-appointed. The highlight for me was the hand-pour coffee setup, complete with high-quality beans and a grinder. Sipping Taiwan Oolong tea by the window was the perfect way to unwind. The bathtub was also a great touch for relaxing. • Breakfast: While the selection is simple, the quality is high. There are 3–4 hot Chinese dishes alongside Western options, which provided a balanced start to the day. Amenities Tip: If it’s windy, rent one of their umbrellas for a 500 TWD deposit. They are incredibly sturdy—essential for handling the "crazy" winds on top of the hill!
