HI New York City Hostel

i totally recommend this hostel The staff members were friendly, but those who appeared to be their superiors were not really. but no problem i didnt feel bad just not that kind thats all!! and my bed was upper and across the window i loved it and they cleaned bathroom often but my bed they didnt!! i think only before i arrived thats also fine!! and all attractions are accessible by subway i had no difficulties during travel and chick fill a , target, cvs etc... walking distance . and subway red 1 line is 3mins blue one is 9mins but its worth doing so i 100percents satisfied!!! when i come back newyork iwill choose this hostel 🩷🩷

Pretty close to subways and bus stops. The space includes a towel which is great! Slow charge stations though. Will book again for my next trip

Hi New York Hostel is a really great place to stay and offers excellent value for money. The front desk staff were friendly, welcoming, and enthusiastic, but they seemed very overworked. I hope the hostel can hire more staff or adjust the schedule to lighten their workload. My dorm mates were all lovely—everyone was respectful and considerate—and the stay felt quite comfortable. Overall, a very good experience. I’d definitely recommend it.

I stayed in another hostel before this one at the same price, and I can say that this hostel was infinitely better. First of all, I loved that there was a curtain for every bed. It really gave a lot of privacy, unlike the other hostel I stayed at. Secondly, it was very close to the subway, a good thing if you're a solo traveler and a female. Third, it was clean. I will stay here again. Great for budget travelers.

Lovely area and kind workers, the bar and pool table were awesome, the bed was comfortable, but the showers were a little dirty. It was in a prime location next to Central Park and a few blocks away from Columbia university

I love it I make more friends I joined to their activities and you must go to

Overall is good I just don’t like smell in bed room hahah

I think this is a good hostel especially the comedy show and kitchen. Majority of workers are speaking Spanish . I want to say Joseph is the best front desk person. The higher floor the better of sleeping . The lift sucks though….. And they don’t really treat elders and Asians as a great customers, they normally ignore them somehow from my own observation.

Really well-maintained, friendly staff. Bar is really good too.
