I enjoyed 3 nights at the Marlton during a real cold spell in NYC.
Pros
* Staff was friendly and helpful.
* Breakfast was healthy and tasty.
* Comfortable bed
Cons
* Too many non hotel guests on laptop computers in the lobby (guests should be encouraged to sit the restaurant booths if the lobby is full (there is zero space in the bedroom for anything more than sleeping.
* Long waits for elevator to 8th floor (next time I’ll request a room no higher than the 5th floor;-)

The Marlton has an inviting lobby, warm and helpful staff, well appointed rooms in a terrific location, convenient to shopping, dining and transportation. I would absolutely stay here again!

Amazing experience from start to finish. The desk staff was exceptional and made us feel welcome. They also had a generous complimentary bottle of sparkling rose in our room , to celebrate a milestone birthday! Coffee and breakfast was excellent. Warm, cozy atmosphere was greatly appreciated on a cold day! Highly recommend!!

Charm cCharm. Charm. If a tiny (very) room does not matter, this is the place to experience truly engaged staff and service with a touch of Village bohemian vibe.

Absolutely adored my solo stay at The Marlton! You feel like you’ve been whisked into a French noir setting! I stayed in a petite room and found it perfect for one. A couple could share the space but it may be a little tight (especially in the bed). There’s no extra chairs or tables, but adequate closet space. I ended up moving one of my nightstands and using that as a makeshift dining spot. Clean and cozy. Bed was a little stiff but def manageable. Had a small issue with toilet but maintenance fixed immediately. Loved the bathroom, especially the water pressure in shower. Staff was kind and helpful. Within walking distance to Washington square and famed MacDougal street. Would absolutely stay here again!

We really like staying here; mainly because our daughter's apartment is literally a few hundred feet away. It's really convenient when we are here to visit, especially at Christmas. Marlton is a very nice boutique Hotel with a lot of character. It has a great lobby, really cozy set up with a nice fireplace and an at home in our living room kind of feel. Great place to meet friends for a cocktail but Hotel Guests get priority seating. The friendly helpful staff and a great breakfast (included in the cost of our room) are a plus.
