My son and I had the most incredible experience! I would recommend the William Vale to all my friends and family. The balcony views at sunset in the summer are absolutely stunning. The hotel itself offers many thoughtful amenities including a welcome message with your name on the television upon arrival. I honestly only have one small complaint and that was the cleaning service. We called about having the room cleaned and actually spoke with the individual who said she would come back at the time we requested but she never returned. Other than that one little hiccup everything went smoothly from the time we pulled up to valet to unload our luggage. There is NO better hotel to stay in Williamsburg aside from the William Vale.

This hotel is the best in New York. We stayed for three night here. The staff were warm, very approachable and helpful. Our room was perfectly prepared, nicely decorated and very clean. The hotel location makes it easy to explore New York City.

Very nice, upscale hotel. Good customer service, large and clean room. Great food at Temple Court. Only fault would be breakfast took a while to be served and I was the only one in the restaurant. But an overall Solid experience all around and I would definitely stay again.

Holiday was a 18 th bday gift for my son .
Room 706 for 1 night
The hotel had put up bday balloons and banners and was a nice surprise .
The hotel is in a great position downtown Manhattan really close to the underground stations and close to 9/11 memorials.
The street Hotel is on is in a bit of unloved area with empty buildings surrounding it - could do with some TLC
Lobby areas and room
are nice and had great amenities but looking tired and dated and lots of areas could be freshened up
Inside Lifts are covered in a fabric which as we are just getting over covid seemed strange as unsure why required and certainly wouldn’t be easy to be cleaned
Also in the room the sink tap was very crooked and the en-suite door was loose and needs proper fixing. Strange how the kettle is in the bathroom !!

Lobby amenities of free hot drinks was a welcomed after a long journey .

Situated within a stone's throw of nine subway lines and within walking distance of Battery Park, Oculus, and Ground Zero. Friendly front desk staff available day and night. Access your front door and room door with ease using the Sonder app and its unique mobile key feature. Enjoy complimentary laundry facilities; just inquire at the front desk for detergent pods. While the room and amenities align with the listing, note that room layouts may vary. Although the blackout curtains may not completely block out light, they provide sufficient coverage. The bathroom is somewhat small and lacking any countertops for convenience. The condition of the bathroom furniture is only fair. The communal area on the 7th floor, offering lockers, bathrooms, and laundry facilities, is incredibly convenient for guests. Overall, experience a pleasant and comfortable stay in an exceptionally convenient location.

It does not live up to the expectations. I do recognize some of the criticism while some of the pro’s too. Rooms are beautiful, very nice staff at reception and friendly helpful conciërge staff. Great location too. Got a great upgrade and pre check-in contact was wonderful (although NYE reservations went slightly wrong). On the downside it looks like the hotel is focussing on non-hotel guests for bar and restaurant, adjustments were almost impossible. We have never encountered these things in other high end hotels around the world. No place for a drink between 4 and 5 pm? Unacceptable. Need reservations as a hotel guest to have a drink in your hotel? Unacceptable. No vanilla ice cream, really? Even told us the bar was closed when we got there at 3.15 pm. Got in after intervention from one of the restaurant staff but had to go at 4 pm…and not even a thin pancake is possible at breakfast? Even while we were almost the only ones at breakfast. It all just not goes to an extend of great hospitality that we expected. Not as kid friendly as we expected and it is all a bit stiff without a lot of smiles and fun interaction which we did encounter in other restaurants and at lunch at the peninsula. Have fun and relax with guests to make it a living hotel. Dont get me wrong, a very nice place but certainly not on the highest hospitality and fun level like JK place in Rome, Mandarin or the Peninsula. And off course, why be so picky about such a beautiful place but at the rates you pay you have every right too. I must add that all depends on which member of staff you are dealing with, staff at the end of our stay was much more fun, friendlier etc. than the one(s) at the beginning. We ended on a hight and we do recommend the hotel, I guess we were a bit unlucky at the start with our encounters.

Hotel was workable but I don’t get the hype of other reviews. I give it 3 stars because it feels like a 3 star hotel. Room was excruciatingly small. The minibar frig is less than two feet from the bed headboard … ran loudly all night … motor shook the cabinet and glasses. Room is so tight hard to find room for your travel bag - they don’t even provide a luggage rack because it can’t fit. Nothing wrong with the stay but it wasn’t anything special or unique. I I appreciate the charm of an older building and the general vibe of the spot but our room seemed dingy and worn (toilet seat cracked, sink stopper broken, vanity light bulbs different wattages). We visit family in the West Village regularly and prefer The Wallace a few blocks away, which is about the same price and quality but rooms are bigger and better appointed. Staff were great and pleasant. I’d go back but wasn’t a four star quality room for me.

PPengguna TetamuJust had another great stay (from start to finish) at the wonderful St. Regis New York. From the bellmen, to the front office staff, to the butler and housekeeping staff, to the incredible service in the King Cole Bar our stay was top notch. There are so many high end choices in the best city in the world, and you can truly never go wrong with the St. Regis. Can’t wait for our next trip back soon.
