Hotel di Midtown, New York

Just had another great stay (from start to finish) at the wonderful St. Regis New York. From the bellmen, to the front office staff, to the butler and housekeeping staff, to the incredible service in the King Cole Bar our stay was top notch. There are so many high end choices in the best city in the world, and you can truly never go wrong with the St. Regis. Can’t wait for our next trip back soon.

Excelente localização e atendimento dos funcionários. A proposta do hotel é hospedar no mínimo espaço com comodidade, como em uma cabine de trem. E deu super certo. Hotel é moderno e limpo. O único senão é o barulho das portas dos banheiros fechando no corredor. Mas depende da localização do pod. Adorei e voltaria com certeza.

Location was superb, next to the main subway station. The concierge staff was very friendly. They need to check that you're a guest before you can walk in to the hotel - this is probably because their lift does not enable guest only access to each floor - you do not need a card to go up to any floor. They charge a $39.99 destination fee and give you a $15 market value to buy food everyday.. (500ml water for $7.5, plain bagel for $5, ham and cheese bagel for $18...) They charge $4/bag for baggage storage after you check out.. Other than these 'small' charges, everything else is good.

The moment you enter the hotel you feel like a king , the whole team is professional and kind . I enjoy every moment from my staying there and I would definitely recommend it to my friends . As well the price was not so expensive. The bar at the lobby is great and they have amazing cocktails .

We couldn’t have asked for more from this hotel, we were a little sceptical at first reading the reviews but decided to take a chance. My girlfriend and I stayed 5 nights and had everything we needed, at the end of the day we needed a nice clean room to sleep in after a full day exploring the city. The bed was comfy, the room was a lot bigger than we expected and apart from a few minor wear and tear issues the room in general was immaculate. On arrival we payed a 150 dollar security deposit and upon checking out, this was refunded instantly (thank you it was well needed!). The hotel is really well located as it’s a 5 minute walk from Grand Central and about a 10/15 minute walk from 5th Ave which was perfect for us. The staff were all really welcoming and so helpful, they also are happy to keep your bags on the day of check out for 5 dollars, which is a bargain compared to what we heard about other hotels. There’s a coffee machine downstairs which we didn’t make use of (your in New York, make the most of the unbelievable coffee shops??) and a vending machine which was extremely handy to grab water and a snack out of at the end of a long day. All in all you pay for what you get, not luxury but definitely great for a short term stay in the city - would definitely recommend if it’s your first time travelling to New York. The location is ok, but there’s no subway stations nearby, so you need to go to Central Terminal Station as the closes place to take it. Or walk, which is in general OK, unless it’s raining, 😁. The room is fantastic, but the general conditions of the hotel let you know that it’s an old one. Also, I was charged extra in the hotel, what I was not made aware of. They give you back part of it as a “credit” to spend in THEIR cafe, which is OK, but I rather spend the money somewhere else, specially because I booked the room without breakfast because I don’t eat too much in the morning and, therefore, it’s a waste of money to pay for it at hotels in a city like NY.

However, the cleanliness of the sheets and towels could be improved. One of the towels still had lipstick marks on it. The hinge of the door was also creeking the entire night and the smoke detector light was flashing white light right above my head on the ceiling. Admittedly I didn’t get a good night sleep but nothing to complain about the service and hospitality.

Our best hotel in NYC - very satisfied with the people who work here and also the service.. I would like to stay here again and in other countries I always liked Westin but the recognition of the brand image has been better!! I give 6 stars out of 5!

2박 예약했는데 첫날이 몇십명이 동시에 오버부킹 돼서 두시간 대기 후 다른 호텔로 쫓겨남.. 선택권은 당연히 없었음.. 바로 옮겨주면 모르겠는대 몇시간 씩이나 기다리고ㅠ 근데 어이없ㄴ느건 옮긴 호텔이 더 좋았다.. 하루 묵고 다시 돌아오니 조리시설 있는거 말고는 쏘쏘였다ㅠ

Great Hotel with Cheerful and Warm Staff. Spacious room, delicious and varied breakfast each morning, quiet neighborhood. The front desk staff (especially Victoria) were attentive and engaged - it felt like a friendly apartment building. Would definitely stay again.
