Hotel berhampiran Meta Church, New York

I have never, ever stayed somewhere that remembers my name. Bella is one of the warmest people I know. She is the face of this hotel. I was also greeted by multiple team members asking how my stay was. Everyone was truly caring and waited for my answer, ready to fix anything or just lightly chat about me moving my Son to NYC. The area seems sketchy but everyone keeps to themselves. Close to subway and fairly quiet compared to other areas. The room was very clean and fresh. Beds could use warmer blankets. We found street parking for our car. You really do not need a car here!

Die Zimmer sind super sauber, aber leider extrem laut. Sowohl die Fenster sind ungedämmt und undicht, als auch die Zimmertüre. Die vorbeigehenden Menschen oder Duschen/TV aus anderen Zimmern sind so laut als stünden sie im Zimmer selber. Wir haben 7 Nächte wegen der Lautstärke nicht wirklich durchschlafen können. Das Personal wirkt desinteressiert. Die Toilette hat nicht funktioniert und wurde nur nach mehrfacher Nachfrage innerhalb von 12h wieder repariert. Nichtsdestotrotz extrem sauberes und modernes Hotel. Die Lage/Gegend wirkt auf den ersten Blick bedrohlich, wir haben uns aber zu keiner Zeit unsicher gefühlt. Nochmal würden wir aufgrund des Preises und der Lautstärke nicht nochmal buchen. Zur Metro sind es fussläufig ca 9 Minuten. Mit der F Linie kommt man schnell und einfach nach Midtown ohne umzusteigen.

Traveled with a family of 5. Loved our stay. Staff were very welcoming and nice. We needed accommodations and they meet our needs with no problems. Valet parking were courteous. Our rooms were clean organized, and very well structured. We loved the bathroom behind the mirror. Very nice. Kids loved it and enjoyed the stay. They have a small Gym, beautiful breakfast lobby, lower terrace with tables, and upper terrace with a beautiful view. Their breakfast was ok. Do need a little more work on. Offered toast, bagels, cerial, oatmeal, waffles, eggs, tater tots, fruits, coffee, juice and water. Eggs were watery, and tater tots were cold, and not well done. Bagel tosted with cream cheese were great. We rate it a 4 out of 5 since it does need work on their breakfast, but we enjoyed our stay and will visit again. Thank you!

Hotel znajduje się zaledwie jedną przecznicę od Times Square a więc lokalizacja na 5*, jest to mały, pięciopiętrowy budynek nie posiadający windy, pokoje są małe, pokój deluxe trochę większy - w pokoju znajdziemy wygodne łóżko, miejsce na bagaż pod łóżkiem, łazienkę wraz z kosmetykami. W pokoju nie znajdziemy czajnika do kawy/herbaty, jednak w okolicy znajdziemy mnóstwo sklepów, restauracji. Nocowałem jedną noc, a więc było wszystko co mi potrzeba. Polecam!

I booked at Nap York Central park in June 2022 for September/October 2022. I chose the discounted flexible rate, as I didn’t see having to cancel or move my dates at all - my flight was paid for. Earlier this month my father suffered a stroke, was diagnosed with cancer, and was told he was in need of an operation on his heart. His quality of living went from active and healthy to in need of 24/7 care overnight. I contacted this property to see if even though the flexible option was non-refundable if there might be some leniency with this as I don’t see being able to travel in the near future, even at a partial refund (mostly for the $500 I already paid to be used for medical bills/needs). You cannot actually call or speak to anyone - they do not have phones. You can only communicate through a chat service. They don’t provide any details as to who you are talking to and my questions as to whether there is a management company I might reach out to were unanswered, and then I was just told ‘we don’t have phones’. After explaining my situation, they let me know they would not refund anything but would move the dates. According to my original booking, I would have six months to reschedule. Speaking to someone through the chat service, I was only given four months to reschedule and many dates blocked out and unavailable to me due to holidays. I pointed out that it was less time than my original booking stated and that went unaddressed, the person let me know that ‘my situation’ (my father possibly terminally ill) ‘was not their responsibility’ and they wouldn’t refund my payment or add any dates (which really would have just been giving me what I should have anyway, not exactly doing me any extra favors) and again - all questions as to whether there is an actual number or company to contact with questions was not provided. While I understand my original request for a refund was outside of the original terms, they don’t even offer the terms that are paid for and clearly stated. I’ve also worked at hotels and lodges in the past to know that they often make allowances for nonrefundable stays in cases of extreme circumstances. Booking.com reached out to try to negotiate and the only response they received was ‘no refund’. I’ve also had travel plans in the past change slightly and have been out money and have not asked for special accommodations or refunds from locations, but with the stress of my father’s health and rising costs, and so suddenly, I was looking for some empathy here. United Airlines is notorious for delayed customer service or non-negotiable refunds and I was able to explain my situation and received a full refund immediately. After some of the language used by whoever manages their chat service, I wouldn’t stay at this location at this point. I've attached some of the reviews on google, as well as management's insane responses (including taunting people about calling the police, or pointing out they don't speak English).

My family of five (two teens and a pre-teen) came to Manhattan for Spring Break. Finding relatively spacious accommodations for five people was a bit of a challenge, but came across The Gardens and booked it without difficulties a few months before this week. The Gardens is to the east of Central Park in Lennox Hill. We really liked the location, which was away from the craziness of the Theatre District, and was a convenient half a block away from the Lexington/63rd subway station. Central Park was also very easy to access. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. We had a room up on the sixth floor with two queen beds and a sofa-style pullout for our fifth person. The room was quite spacious, and had a kitchenette - very handy for buying some snacks from the Morton Williams supermarket across the street from the subway access. The room was clean but could use a bit of freshening. The blackout blinds were fantastic for keeping our room dark, and our family kept on an MST schedule for our holiday. The limiting factor for a group our size was the bathroom, which was very small. The hotel was nice and quiet for how busy it seemed to be. Overall a nice stay, The Gardens was a great base of operations for giving our kids a NYC experience.

Best location! 5 min to subway 6, easy going downtown and come back uptown. Walking distance to Central Park and MET, surrounded by good coffee, bars, restaurants and shops! Employees are all super warm and nice! Super good room cleaning with all my stuff hanging everywhere and they can still carefully place and clean!!! Wish I can go back and stay here again! Best decision I made for my NYC trip. 😊

We really enjoyed our stay. Only a $4.50 bus ride to NYC. Bus picks you up in front of hotel. Also close to dream mall. Rooms were clean, good breakfast, and showers were hot. Hotel is a short ride to American Dream Mall. Very reasonably priced. Will stay again.
