"We stayed in a twin-bed room with a balcony and a stunning view of the snow-capped mountains. It was amazing! We didn't even have to get up early to see the 'golden mountains' (sunlight hitting the peaks) right from our balcony. The small balcony itself was very comfortable. The hotel's location is great, close to the ancient town – just a ten-minute walk. There's also a local market, Jinjia Market, nearby which is fun to explore, and lots of restaurants, so it's super convenient.
However, I do have a couple of complaints: 1. The handheld and overhead showerheads in our bathroom weren't very good. The water sprayed everywhere erratically, and the handheld shower was so close to the bathroom door that water kept flowing out underneath it and onto the floor, soaking the bathmat. 2. The hotel restaurant seemed to have poor ventilation. During breakfast, the hallway was filled with a strong cooking smell, and the elevator had it too. Our clothes even ended up smelling of cooking oil! We reported this to the front desk, and they did take some action which improved it a bit. Other than that, everything else was fine. It's a good place to stay and offers good value for money."
