"Staying at the right hotel in Lijiang is half the cure! This hidden gem of a garden hotel 💐 This hotel in Lijiang really impressed me! It's just a few minutes' walk to the Big Waterwheel, and right outside the hotel is the heart of the Old Town. Exploring Dong Street and Sifang Street is super convenient, no detours needed. Even with luggage, you can get there easily. The location is absolutely top-notch! 📍 The room cleanliness was a delightful surprise. The bedding was soft and odor-free, and the bathroom was super clean with a perfect wet/dry separation – not a speck of dust even in the corners! Smart bathroom features, comfortable mattresses, and large scenic windows are all included. The meal vouchers cover breakfast, brunch, and late-night snacks. The fresh fruit and pastries in the dining area were beautifully presented and fresh. The staff were enthusiastic and attentive throughout, from check-in to responding to requests, making the experience absolutely perfect! During my days in Lijiang, I spent the daytime exploring the Old Town and soaking in its lively atmosphere, then returned to the quiet and clean hotel at night. This 'tranquility in the midst of hustle and bustle' experience was truly wonderful. "We stayed in a twin-bed room with a balcony and a stunning view of the snow-capped mountains. It was amazing! We didn't even have to get up early to see the 'golden mountains' (sunlight hitting the peaks) right from our balcony. The small balcony itself was very comfortable. The hotel's location is great, close to the ancient town – just a ten-minute walk. There's also a local market, Jinjia Market, nearby which is fun to explore, and lots of restaurants, so it's super convenient. However, I do have a couple of complaints: 1. The handheld and overhead showerheads in our bathroom weren't very good. The water sprayed everywhere erratically, and the handheld shower was so close to the bathroom door that water kept flowing out underneath it and onto the floor, soaking the bathmat. 2. The hotel restaurant seemed to have poor ventilation. During breakfast, the hallway was filled with a strong cooking smell, and the elevator had it too. Our clothes even ended up smelling of cooking oil! We reported this to the front desk, and they did take some action which improved it a bit. Other than that, everything else was fine. It's a good place to stay and offers good value for money."

"Stayed here for 3 nights, it was so relaxing. The hotel is right in front of Jade Dragon Snow Mountain. The location is excellent, situated between Shuhe Ancient Town and Baisha Ancient Town. The hotel's service truly deserves 100 points; they offer complimentary transfers to nearby ancient towns. Enjoyed an afternoon tea in the room, gazing at the snow-capped mountain outside the window 🏔️"

"Facilities: The bed was comfortable, not too soft, and I slept really well. The central air conditioning provided excellent heating. Hygiene: The hygiene was also great; the towels and everything else had no strange odors. Environment: It's a quiet oasis amidst the hustle and bustle, very close to Zhongyi Market, which is right next to the Ancient City. I recommend the mushroom soup and mushroom fried rice, as well as the specialty BBQ. Service: The owner was incredibly thoughtful and genuinely welcoming to guests, which was very evident. If I bring my mom next year, I'll definitely stay here again. ... I also recommend Shuhe Ancient Town and Lijiang Ancient City."

"This was an incredibly satisfying stay. The room was spacious, and the facilities were excellent. The staff were exceptionally polite and courteous, often making us feel almost embarrassed by their kindness. When I had a cold and asked for hot water to take medicine, they not only brought hot water but also a pot of ginger tea. They even heard we enjoyed the drinks in the mini-fridge and kept replenishing them, as if worried we wouldn't have enough. The rice noodles at breakfast were delicious, and the staff encouraged us to have more bowls. All in all, it was a truly unforgettable experience. The pictures I took at the hotel were spontaneous; I regret not taking more, as this is genuinely a hidden gem that I wholeheartedly recommend everyone to stay at. After leaving Lijiang for Dali, my girlfriend kept reminiscing about our wonderful stay in Lijiang. We will definitely stay here again next time we visit Lijiang."

"Facilities: The smart toilet was a lifesaver in winter, the heated seat was so cozy! The smart TV with its large screen was great for watching shows. The Xiaodu smart speaker was super convenient; I set an alarm to wake up and watch the 'Golden Mountain at Sunrise' phenomenon. The hairdryer was also excellent – my short hair dried in no time. The room was very spacious, and with the floor-to-ceiling windows, I could just lie in bed and admire Yulong Snow Mountain without even leaving the room. There's also a small platform on the rooftop to watch the sunrise, and it's handy for doing laundry and drying clothes. Hygiene: Spotless! You can tell they put a lot of effort into cleaning. The new renovations are fantastic. Environment: It's located just outside Shuhe Ancient Town, about a 15-minute walk. It's also a bit removed from the main roads, which guarantees a quiet stay. Food delivery is also very convenient. Service: The landlady is a kind person. She wasn't always at the front desk as she had to look after her child, but as soon as I checked in, we exchanged WeChat details, so I could just message her for anything I needed. I honestly recommend this place to anyone who wants to see the 'Golden Mountain at Sunrise' but couldn't get cable car tickets. While Shuhe Ancient Town is commercialized, it's much smaller and more tranquil than Lijiang Ancient City. Some of the little scenic spots are definitely worth spending half a day exploring. Even if you do nothing but order takeout, sit in your room, space out, and gaze at the snow-capped mountains, it's still a wonderful experience."

"I think the hotel's location is pretty good; you can get a taxi right outside. It's very convenient to take a taxi to Jade Dragon Snow Mountain and Lijiang Old Town, taking about half an hour. Shuhe Ancient Town is also just about a 15-minute walk away. As soon as I entered the hotel, it was really warm, and the decor was very clean. The room was quite clean, and the air conditioning worked great, even making it a bit hot for sleeping at night. Because I requested a non-smoking room, it was located quite far back, making the walk from the lobby a bit long. The breakfast had a great variety and was delicious. They even have a robot to deliver food orders. Overall, it was a very good stay, and I would definitely choose to stay here again if I come back."
