"I genuinely recommend Little Tusi Homestay. I'd say it meets four-star hotel standards. The owner personally picked us up at the station in the evening and even brewed us a delicious pot of butter tea upon arrival, along with some fruit and snacks. The Tibetan-style decor is very tasteful and refined. We stayed for three nights, and the owner upgraded our room. Today we're leaving, and the owner will even drop us off at the station. Shangri-La, the sun and moon in my heart – this trip was truly worth it!"

"This guesthouse is very close to Zongkela City. The room is incredibly spacious, featuring a bedroom, a living room, and a super large bathtub. The design is fantastic, and most importantly, the attention to detail is superb. The heating temperature was perfect, and the room felt fresh with plenty of oxygen. Having stayed at different guesthouses over the past few days, this one offers incredible value for money. If your budget isn't too tight, you absolutely must stay here. I forgot to take photos of the room, but what you see in the hotel's pictures is exactly what you get."

"Extremely satisfied with every aspect of my stay. I was genuinely surprised to find such a great place at this price point; it definitely deserves a full 5 stars. The location is perfect, just a ten-minute walk to the old town center. I stayed on the top floor (4th floor), and the floor-to-ceiling windows offered a lovely view of the old town – not many guesthouses in the old town have four stories. Both the room and the courtyard are very well-designed. All the room facilities are excellent; the mattress and pillows are Mousse brand, and the duvet is down-filled. The hostess and the front desk gentleman were incredibly kind and attentive, always checking in on me. The afternoon tea and goodnight milk were also delicious. I'll definitely stay here again next time I visit!"

"We had a truly amazing experience in the hotel. Great hospitality, great view and great interior designs. Our two teenagers suffered from altitude sickness, but the hotel staff (esp Mr Dong Zhen Dong) took care of us with care and professionalism, making us feel like family. We had to cancel our scheduled outings due to our kids’ health, however the hotel surrounding itself is a wonderful scenic spot. Beautiful views with very instagrammable photo spots at the hotel. My kids loved the farm animals (sheep, horses and a white yak). We could also walk out to the lake where the animals were grazing and the birds were chilling. It was a truly national geographic moment for us. Star gazing at night from our balcony was a huge surprise too. In the evening we had a lovely family time chilling around the fireplace at their chic cafe. The entire place was so beautiful and comfortable. Their staff was very friendly and attentive too The hotel’s complimentary cool ride to the airport was a sweet end to our Yunnan trip. Thank you Muka Monor for an outstanding hotel experience!"

"Arrived too late to snap any photos of the B&B, but the owner was absolutely wonderful! They picked us up from the train station, and the room was huge, with underfloor heating and a smart toilet – everything you could ask for. We were in a rush in the morning and couldn't stay for breakfast, but the owner even chased after us to pack some food and snacks for the road. Seriously, their ginger tea is a must-try! I was starting to feel a cold coming on, and two cups of that completely sorted me out."

Walking to Shangri-La, this is not only a place to rest, but also the beginning of a story. **The joy of doing is also good**, I am willing to protect the sun and moon in your heart with a bowl of hot yak hot pot and a dim butter lamp.
"This guesthouse experience truly made me super happy! The owner and his wife were so warm and friendly, it was really touching. As soon as we arrived, they proactively helped us with our luggage, which made us feel incredibly welcome. Whenever we encountered any difficulties, they were always eager to help us resolve them, making us feel like family. Even better, the location of this guesthouse is incredibly convenient. It's only about a 5-minute walk to Dukezong Ancient City, which made exploring super easy. The owner and his wife were also very generous, even offering us fruit, which was such a thoughtful touch! Overall, this is a guesthouse I highly recommend. The service is excellent, and it's close to attractions. I'll definitely be back if I have the chance! If you're looking for a place to stay, you absolutely shouldn't miss this one!"

The Wonderland homestay

"It was our first time visiting Shangri-La from SG, and based on the excellent reviews, my family chose this accommodation for our 2-night stay in late November 25. The moment we arrived; we were warmly welcomed by the owner’s bright and cheerful personality. As it was the off-peak season, we were pleasantly surprised to receive a free room upgrade and were even invited to view and choose the room we preferred—such thoughtful hospitality! The room was clean, tidy, and equipped with an excellent floor-heating system. The huge projection TV was easily the best we’ve seen compared to other hotels we’ve stayed at, and we thoroughly enjoyed the wide selection of free-to-watch movies late into the night. The owners were also very responsive whenever we needed assistance. The Minsu is strategically located within the ancient town with supermarkets, lots of eateries nearby. Easy walk to the Giant Golden Prayer Wheel. A special highlight was when the owner personally ground and served us their local Yunnan Xiaoli (small bean) specialty coffee—an unexpected treat. To top it all off, he even drove us to Kunming Railway Station, which is about 10-15 minutes away. Truly commendable dedication and service. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and an unforgettable experience. Highly recommended!"

Ten-Mile Snow Mountain Luxury Lodge

"The B&B is located right in Napa Lake. Although the grass is yellow in winter, I can imagine how beautiful it would be when it's green in summer. It faces a body of water and has many small animals, creating a lovely atmosphere. The hotel rooms are very clean, and the housekeeper is also very enthusiastic. Most importantly, their travel photography is truly stunning!!! There are a few minor issues that I hope the hotel management will address: 1. While the common area is large, it's shared by several B&Bs and an open-plan cafe, so it gets very crowded and noisy. With people constantly coming and going, the floor also looked quite dirty and uncleaned. 2. There are many hidden fees. For example, although afternoon tea vouchers were provided, they were only for two Americanos. If you wanted anything else, you had to pay the difference. A yak butter tea latte was 88, which is quite exorbitant compared to prices outside. Personally, I'd suggest providing better amenities instead, even if it means a slight increase in room rates. 3. They have some cute alpacas and sheep. However, despite the package including ”cute pet interaction,” the hotel doesn't provide food for feeding the animals. This was unexpected, and I'd appreciate it if this was noted in the package description. 4. The sheep at the B&B are really dirty. Compared to the sheep at the neighboring Ritzman, they were practically untouchable. If these animals are kept for guest interaction, then they should be properly groomed."

I literally didn't want to check out! 😭 📍 Location that'll make you scream with joy It's located at No. 9 Chigu Lane, Cangfang Community, Jian-tang Town! Just a 3-minute walk to Dukezong Ancient Town. Every morning, I was woken up by the sound of prayer wheels, and from my window, I could see the world's largest prayer wheel. In the evening, I could even spot the golden roofs of Songzanlin Monastery from my balcony, and the winds from Napa Lake reached right into my room! 🏨 Space & Facilities that hit all the right notes I booked a spacious king-sized room with a view! The ******* elements combined with modern design created a stunning, high-quality ambiance ✨ Each room comes with an oxygen concentrator (a lifesaver for those of us on the plateau!) and a projector. The family rooms are incredibly thoughtful, down to the smallest detail! The public areas are simply divine: the 5th-floor observation deck offers panoramic views of the ancient town, and there's a fitness bar, a children's play area, and a laundry room – everything you need, making travel with kids super easy. 🍳 Food so delicious, you'll clean your plate Let me especially rave about the food! Breakfast had such a wide variety, I didn't know what to choose, with特色 ******* snacks and both Chinese and Western dishes. The afternoon tea and late-night desserts were both visually appealing and delicious. My taste buds were definitely on vacation! This isn't just a place to stay; it's an immersive ******* experience. "My stay at Memory Guesthouse far exceeded my expectations! For someone just arriving at a high-altitude area, the biggest worry is altitude sickness, but the diffuse oxygen supply in the room ensured I slept soundly all night – this definitely deserves full marks! The guesthouse is only a 6-minute walk from the ancient town, so you can easily head back to rest whenever you get tired. In the evening, after returning to the guesthouse, the friendly staff even brought me a warm cup of butter tea, instantly chasing away the fatigue of my journey. Not only is it clean and comfortable, but it also offers the warmth of a home. I will definitely stay here again on my next visit."
