"A very comfortable and nice hotel to stay in. Location is very good. Services are friendly, breakfast is good, bed is very comfortable, and the courtyard is nice to chill off the night. Once you close off the curtain and the door to the courtyard, you hardly hear any noise from the pedestrain street. They even have shutter in the courtyard to ”seal” off the room from the outside if you want to use it. For laundry, they have 6 washer and 6 dryer in total. No need to panic and rush to wash your clothes. Although the hotel is situated 50 meter in a small lane away from the main street, but we do not have any issue for cab hailing. the drivers know to stop just at the front of the small lane, rest assured on that. Overall, we rate this boutique hotel highly on our list. Definitely recommened for anyone coming to Xiamen for vacation. Almost flawless boutique hotel!!! *If I have to pick on the hotel, then we wish the hotel breakfast will come with free coffee for breakfast. Simple nice black coffee or with milk is such a comfort for some tourist to start the day. Since breakfast comes with free tea, soya , fresh milk, why not come with simple black coffee as well? Not a deal breaker for us, just a small suggestion."

"This ancient-looking building! The moment I stepped in, I was captivated by the rosewood carvings and exquisite couplets, as if I had traveled back to ancient times. Every detail here reveals a sense of historical depth and cultural heritage, making you eager to explore more. The service from the owner to the staff made us feel right at home, and all the details were thoughtfully handled. Perhaps the only suggestion would be to provide toiletries and slippers for children! That would make it even more refined and meticulous."

"The hotel's location is just perfect for a relaxing getaway ⛱️. The mountain-sea trail is right outside the hotel, about 30 meters to the left, which is fantastic for anyone who loves their morning run 🏃🏃♀️. The hotel's decor is fresh and elegant, and the rooms are fully automated. The moment you step in, you get that 'welcome home' feeling – it's warm and spotless, and the bedding is incredibly comfortable. They've thought of everything: a steam iron, ironing board, and a Dyson hairdryer. It's just too good! 👍👍👍 Breakfast is also nutritious and abundant, and the dragon fruit smoothie is delicious. A big thank you to the hotel for the complimentary suite upgrade. I absolutely love it! I'll be back in mid-October! Just a quick add-on: it's super friendly for road-trippers too, with a large parking lot right in front of the hotel. If you walk left from the hotel along the mountain-sea trail for a few hundred meters, you can clearly see the Twin Towers and Kinmen. A perfectly wonderful stay."

"This time, flying from Malaysia to stay at the Fairmont was a fantastic experience! I'd like to express my sincere gratitude and praise to Serena at the front desk and Shirley, the duty manager. Serena provided us with very thoughtful and gentle service throughout our stay, genuinely caring about our experience. She was also proactive in responding to any issues we had. When we checked out to fly back to Malaysia, I accidentally left a jacket behind. She quickly coordinated with several departments and arranged for a courier to send it to me. I'm truly grateful for her care during our stay. On the first night, we encountered a minor issue. Upon learning about it, Shirley, the duty manager, came to our room and resolved it wonderfully. I believe she possesses exceptional management skills and a high sense of responsibility. Their excellent service added a lot of warmth and convenience to my trip, and I will definitely choose to return again soon. Thank you both for your service and for your trouble! 👍🏻"

"We had an unforgettable time in Xiamen during the Dragon Boat Festival, made even better by our stay at the Fenghwei Lanxi Seaview Hotel for two nights. The hotel’s location was extremely convenient, with popular attractions like Gulangyu Island just a short distance away. The surrounding area offered fantastic restaurants and a stunning coastline, making our stay both enjoyable and hassle-free. Our room was cozy, clean, and surprisingly welcoming—despite its compact size, it had a warm, homely feel. The breathtaking view, incredibly comfortable bed, and the attentive cleaning staff all contributed to a truly satisfying experience. "Hotel is very newly renovated when we stayed here. Staff are extremely attentive, rooms are very clean and modern, it’s actually surprisingly one of the nicest hotels I’ve stayed and I’m trying very hard where they can improve themselves but I can’t really think of anything. Was only there for one night and wish I could have stayed longer. Thanks you for the great experience."
