"The hygiene was acceptable. The hotel is located right by the pier, above a shopping mall. The mall isn't very busy, so there aren't many people around. Downstairs, there's a supermarket which is convenient for grabbing snacks. There's also a Starbucks where you can sit, enjoy the AC, and use their Wi-Fi. What really bothered me was... the entire hotel has no Wi-Fi, and there's no cell signal either! My companion and I just went back to our room to wash up and sleep. Luckily, I had two TV shows downloaded on my phone beforehand, which was a lifesaver. Seriously, what hotel these days doesn't have internet? On the plus side, you get a great view of the pier and the sea from the window. The amenities are decent, with a hairdryer and disposable toiletries provided. The slippers aren't disposable, but the bedding is very clean. The owner is Chinese and quite friendly and sincere. We even booked our boat trip through them, which was convenient. The room is a bit noisy though, and since we chose a suite, sunlight started coming in very early in the morning because the partitioned area didn't have curtains to block the light."

"Centrally located, clean, has lift. Chose this hotel as a stopover after a dive trip; needed lift access for luggage. Friendly and helpful staff. Nearby mosque so light sleepers may need earplugs. Our room has a balcony which was useful to dry our wet swim stuff. Thank you!"

Watsons and a convenience store are also nearby, so you can find anything you need. There's also a washing machine, which is incredibly convenient after island hopping! Hanging clothes out to dry all day makes them feel fresh and clean. Highly recommended! The owner's recommended itinerary allowed us to experience the best of Semporna, from snorkeling to walks around the water bungalows – it was all incredibly fun. "We used the Grap app for taxis in Semporna because Q3 INN HOTEL wasn't listed on the Grap map yet since it only opened last October. So, you could choose Grace Hotel or BaWang ChaJi, as they're only about 20 meters away – very close. The hotel offers free instant noodles, snacks, and drinks. There's a coffee machine providing free coffee and hot water. We're health-conscious, so we brought our own water bottles to use the hot water provided. The hotel is very close to the Longmen Guesthouse pier, a 7-8 minute walk. You can see the pier from your room balcony. The hotel facilities are all new, but there's no renovation smell, which is great. The owner is very dedicated to running the business. Thumbs up! 👍 Staying here... There's a seafood restaurant downstairs. My friend and I ate there for several nights in a row. Yes, it's seafood! Next door is a place selling black thorn durian, which is also incredibly delicious and authentic. On the day we left, I left my water bottle at the hotel, and the owner happened to be flying back to Guangzhou that evening at 7:00 PM. They even delivered my water bottle to the airport! I was so touched. Even after I went through security and was at the check-in counter, the owner contacted security staff to open the glass door and hand me my little blue collapsible water bottle. Super NICE ❤️ My friend and I stayed for three nights. On our last night, we went to the bar downstairs at the hotel 🍷 and listened to locals sing Mandarin songs. It was quite nice. The only downsides might be that the toothbrushes were a bit soft, the air conditioner would be better with a wind shield, and the rooms near the road could have better soundproofing. Also, having more clothes hangers would be very convenient, as we went out to sea every day and needed to dry clothes. Laundry detergent was also a concern; I brought a small bottle, but it ran out, and they only had laundry powder. In short: My friend said this place is the best value for money. After placing the order, the hotel contacted me as soon as possible and sent a car to the town to pick me up. The driver will speak Chinese and the communication is very smooth. He has been smiling and helped me carry my luggage. The road in Semporna is very narrow. The hotel driver is skilled. It takes about 15 minutes to get from the town to the hotel. As soon as I arrived at the hotel, the person in charge of the hotel was waiting at the door to meet. The person in charge also spoke Chinese. The overall stay was unimpeded. The little brother also enthusiastically introduced me to various island hopping routes. It was not bad. I can find him again next time. What surprised me the most was the room, newly renovated, very distinctive, each room has a balcony, the view is absolutely, overlooking a whole palm forest. The sheets and quilts are new, at least not as crumpled and yellow as other hotels in town, and finally no disposable sheets are required.
