Ulasan Cbh Jockey Club Rooms

Experience a charming stay @Jockey club rooms, Newmarket (near Cambridge, UK) A truly traditional and sophisticated stay at the Jockey Club Rooms. Our deluxe room overlooked the beautifully kept gardens, and the interiors — especially the Colefax & Fowler fabrics — felt timeless and elegant. The bathroom was enormous, almost larger than the bedroom, and the whole property is filled with classic equestrian art and heritage charm. We enjoyed champagne in the private members’ bar, a rare privilege for overnight guests, and breakfast was exceptional — from eggs Benedict to eggs Royal, kippers, pancakes and more, all served in a grand dining room. Easily the best hotel breakfast I’ve had. The atmosphere is old‑world English tradition at surprisingly accessible prices, with free parking and a perfect High Street location. Ideal for visiting Cambridge or Suffolk — and we loved being able to stroll to Thai Kitchen for dinner. Highly recommended for anyone seeking comfort, history, and understated luxury - all for the price of a room in the Premier inn!

Absolutely beautiful room, views, and bathroom. The bed was very comfortable, the room was quiet. The toiletries were premium. The service was impeccable. Maria was wonderful, as were the catering staff. I only wish I had more reasons to visit Newmarket so I could stay again!

Hotel excellent , staff were extremely helpful and friendly I would recommend this hotel to anyone, our friends also stayed in the hotel as we went racing . There words were also very complimentary, best we have stayed in! Well done .

Beautiful period hotel. The suite we had was gorgeous and we got it at a great price. Only thing to note is there is a dress code even for breakfast. No shorts or trainers. In this instance I think they should have a separate area for members of the jockey club where the dress code is applicable.

Stayed in the Town House, our room was fantastic it was more like a suite. Very comfortable with everything you need. Breakfast was lovely, food was delicious. Staff very welcoming. Will definitely be staying here again loved it.

We have stayed before, but that time we stayed at the back of the hotel, this time we stayed in the town house right on the street and it turned out to be very noisy at night. There was a disco both nights opposite with very load music into the early hours, lots of screaming and shouting all during the night and cars with dodgy exhausts roaring up and down the road. Other than that lovely big room and bathroom. Use of communal kitchen & lounge. Breakfast good, staff lovely, shame we only had one packet of biscuits and one pair of slippers for two people.

The room and facilities were first class(especially the Bath).Breakfast was excellent in superb surroundings .I would recommend that everyone should stay here at least once ,we will return.

What an amazing place to stay, especially if you like racing and it's history. It was like staying in a museum. Breakfast is amazing and the staff were very friendly.

Fantastic service and the food was excellent, the staff couldn’t do enough for you and the Jockey Club rooms at steeped in horse racing history

Great staff and hotel. The bar was closed for a private function which I was not told about beforehand. That said no hesitation in recommending.

Outstanding Historic location, secure car park and accommodation. Close to Newmarket races.Staff helpful, attentive and friendly. Beds very comfortable. Will visit again.

impressive, clean place is really classic. have a thai restaurant nearby

We stayed two nights at the Jockey Club Rooms and enjoyed every minute of it. The whole experience was fantastic but the breakfasts deserve a special mention, as does the young lady who checked us in, who couldn’t have been more friendly and helpful. Will definitely be staying again next time we visit Newmarket

Unbelievable experience! Such a beautiful place with so much history and class! We had an amazing ground floor garden room with a huge bathroom!
