Hotel 2 Bintang di Newport

Hotel was really nice but our trash was not taken out when we got there. It had beer cans and stuff in it. Luckily we stepped out our room and there was housekeeping who let us dump it out! Otherwise room was good. Pool was very cold.. It is winter and I expect for the pool area to be a little warmer in the winter! Just warming that water a little bit really could have added to the experience. Staff was very helpful but also saw a couple employees in not professional outfits (PJ’s). Breakfast was ok. There were few options but only meat available was ham and who really wants ham! Price paid was low enough to over look these things but also there is room for improvement! It is a great hotel next to the aquarium and really should be stepping up the game!

We stayed at this hotel several times in the past and had a great experience however, this time was not at all! Prior to our arrival I asked the front desk to put some roses in our room since it was our anniversary which they did for me. When we arrived I was surprised to find that that the hotel was under renovations since I was not advised of that when booking the room. the parking was horrible, the front desk/lobby was dirty and there was one elevator working so, it took us 15 minutes just to get to our room. Don't count on breakfast either. We did get lucky and our room was renovated and nice. It was loud due to the renovations. the noise started fairly early in the morning which sucked because, we were there to relax. Despite all of that when we checked out and were heading towards home my wife realized that she left her earrings on the nightstand. I called the hotel and explained that she left her earrings could you please go tot the room and get them. The front desk clerk responded by saying that they were not allowed to go into the rooms. Now we all know that's not true because they went into my room to put the flowers on the table. They directed me to a website to fill out a lost and found report....I mean I didn't leave a sock there it was a $500.00 set of earrings. Anyway, filled out the report and a couple of days later I received an email stating that no items were found. I called the manager and left several messages. Didn't get a call back. I finally got lucky and caught him there and I explained to him what happened. He stated that he would look into the issue and call me back...never did. i called Choice Hotels and filed three complaints and still have not gotten a call back. So, today I called Newport Police Department and filed a theft report. This hotel is not worth the $420.00 I spent for two nights and please don't leave anything at the hotel because, they will tell you it's not there.

Perkhidmatan meja depan adalah sangat baik dan profesional. Namun, bilik kami tidak begitu bersih. Bilik mandi adalah kotor serta sinki bilik mandi dan cadar kami. Peti sejuk mini tidak pernah dibersihkan dan masih mempunyai minuman daripada sesiapa yang tinggal di sana sebelum kami. Saya tidak pernah tinggal di tempat yang membuat anda membayar $9 untuk sarapan bijirin. Juga, semasa kami mendaftar masuk, kami diberitahu bahawa kami mempunyai masa sehingga 12:00 untuk mendaftar keluar. Beberapa jam sebelum itu, perkhidmatan bilik datang dan mengetuk pintu dan bertanya apabila kami mendaftar keluar. Saya fikir ini sangat tidak profesional. Selain itu, kolam renang ditutup pada pukul 8, jadi jika anda mempunyai anak kecil, anda mungkin ingin melihat lebih lanjut. Lokasi sangat baik dan tempat letak kereta sangat mudah.
