Hotel Sleep-Inn Box 5

We have had a great experience staying there for several reasons. Starting with a wonderful, caring hospitality, continuing with a wowowo location, and finishing with the most comfortable bed with have slept on. The owner, Caroline is beyond kind. We hope to be back 🙏🏾

We stayed just one night in Room 4. It is a loft up two floors at the head of a very narrow steep staircase. This is not a complaint. It is what it is. A beautiful old Dutch house and so is part of the character. We should have been here for two nights but we were stranded by a train strike. Jos and Stefan are perfect hosts. We let them know of our late arrival and they were lovely when we eventually got there. Our time there was too short. We need to go back. The room was well fitted with a mixture of old and new furnishings. The bathroom ultra modern and well fitted. The breakfast is waiting on a dresser outside of the bedroom in the morning and it was perfect. Plenty of choices and too much for us but there is a fridge there too and we placed some of it back. Our one and only negative was the noise from the street. It was a Saturday night and those Nijmegen kids sure know what partying is. I always take earplugs so it wasn't much of a problem for me. My wife though doesn't like the plugs so suffers any noise. They were at it until after 4am. There are a number of 'koffee shops' in the area and I think they may attract a few shady characters. I'd love to return when we next get the chance. Would have been a 5 star review if only for the noise.
