Nikko Station hotel Classic located at a strategic location:-👍 (a) opposite its hotel ( cross the zebra crossing) is the entrance of JR Nikko Station 🚉 ( JR Nikko line 💚) -5-8mins walk (2) clean n neat modern Japanese bed with rather big bathroom (3) morning breakfast is at level one with 24hrs coffee n tea vending machine besides for hotel guests . Hotel guests can enjoy their slow slipping of coffee ☕️ n private chats at private area besides. (4) hotel breakfast is simple but its sufficient for both of us. We simply love to enjoy a big warm bowl of curry rice with hard boiled eggs 🥚 🥚 n some bread 🍞 n toasts. (5) Simply falls in love with its Sukura restaurant its Tempura Don. very delicious 😋👍 although its small . (6) Hotel is conveniently located along a long stretch of shopping streets with another Railway station ( Tohoku station 🚉) nearby. (7) Hotel is very near to Local bus-stop , local buses ,tourist heritage buses n stations.

This was a wonderful hotel, and I had the pleasure of meeting some lovely people there. The room was spacious, allowing me to get a much-needed rest on the first day of my Tohoku trip.

The location is excellent, just a 2-minute walk from Tobu Nikko Station, with the distinctive pink station building directly across the street. The room was reasonably spacious and came with all basic amenities and services. The hotel also offers hot spring facilities.

The location is superb, conveniently situated between Tobu Nikko and JR Nikko stations. While the room was a little on the smaller side, it was immaculately clean. The hotel's on-site hot spring (onsen) was also a pleasant bonus. The only minor drawback was that the changing area for the onsen felt a bit rudimentary. The absolute highlight was the complimentary breakfast; it was very generous and delicious. Overall, I would definitely recommend this hotel.

The hotel's location is fantastic, right across from the JR station and very close to Tobu Nikko Station. A bus stop is also just a two-minute walk away, offering great convenience. The hotel environment is quite pleasant. The lobby isn't luxurious but is tastefully decorated, and the staff speak English. They thoughtfully provide toiletries like makeup remover and facial cleanser, which is very convenient. Complimentary afternoon beverages are also a nice perk. The room size was acceptable, and it was cleaned well. However, there was a noticeable urine smell in the bathroom; I couldn't tell if it was from the drainage system or due to the building's age. Also, bottled water was not provided in the room, and there was no humidifier.

This used to be a great hotel with an international buffet dinner and a satisfying breakfast. But the buffet is gone and if you don’t like Japanese curry or bread then you’re out of luck for breakfast. The Japanese style room smelt of smoke. Staff were polite as usual

Very conveniently located opposite JR Nikko and 3 min walk away from Tobu Nikko stations and the buses for the area. Good-sized traditional room with dated bathroom. We got a rather dingy view of the carpark and buildings at the back (maybe our request of a bright, high floor room with nature view did not get through) and the staff were not able to accommodate our request to change, citing full capacity. A limited western oriented breakfast was included but could have more Japanese, fish and vegetarian options, as well as less stern reminders to make guests feel less intimidated and more welcomed. Our fav feature was the onsen and lounge with free drinks machine. We would stay here again, given a more accommodating atmosphere.

Location is good as close to the JR train station. Room is clean and tidy though facilities are basic and a bit old. There is private bathroom in the room but can use the onsen in the hotel. Staff at reception are nice as usual in Japan. Breakfast is free. Not many varieties but taste is fine.

Incredibly convenient location, situated right next to the station. The room was a good size. The breakfast was a highlight, even offering curry rice in the mornings.

Pros: Direct access to the station, friendly staff, an onsen (hot spring bath), rooms are spacious for Japanese standards, and a simple Japanese breakfast is included. Cons: The bathroom fan was noisy (though it can be switched off), and you could sometimes hear fans from neighboring rooms. Also, a bed sheet was stained and needed to be replaced. Overall: It's decent for the price paid. Generally, accommodations in Nikko are quite basic, and there's not much nightlife or many dining options in the evenings (it can be hard to find a restaurant). Tip: A short train ride to the next station will offer more restaurant choices in the evening.

Location and hospitality from the staff are the stand outs for this hotel. 5 min walk from Tobu-Nikko station and just opposite JR Nikko station. Lots of dining options around so not to worry but the nearest convenience store is actually not that near. For my stay, it came with free breakfast every day though I only had it for one day because I wanted to try out other breakfast/ coffee places in Nikko. There’s onsen in the hotel, both indoor and outdoor so this is also a plus point. However, the hotel itself is a bit tired and desperately needs a renovation.
