Rooms with executive lounge access are worth the small upcharge for access to afternoon tea, which is lacking compared to some brands but at the price point of this hotel is perfectly fine. Some cold drinks, coffee, cakes and fruit available but no savoury offerings.

The hotel offered a great breakfast buffet and a spacious swimming pool with a dedicated kids’ pool. The family-friendly room was a highlight, complete with a slide that kept the kids entertained. However, the room carpet could have been cleaner, and the towel shelves in the bathroom needed some maintenance.

I had a pleasant stay at this establishment. The staff members were exceptionally friendly and made me feel welcome throughout my visit. One of the highlights was the proximity to the beach, which was within walking distance. This made it easy to enjoy the sun and surf whenever I desired. The variety of food options available was outstanding, catering to different tastes and preferences, which greatly enhanced my dining experience.

Fairly nice hotel but they turn off HVAC heating and air conditioning in fringe seasons to save money so that can be aggravating and uncomfortable at those times. Some rooms feeling their age, but nice breakfast. Some low-price shops and restaurants nearby, so that was convenient. Taxis usually park out front so that is nice, although most use the Didi app. Helpful staff but not much English.

We went for my partner’s birthday and we wrote a suggestion that we wanted, also a few arrangements in the request column the holiday ignored that. The rooms are old and the furniture too. The service was terrible as they seem busy to assist you. The dinning for breakfast was full we couldn’t find a sit therefore ate late and the food was cold. Experience for me is /310 . Also we attempted to use the pool and the old man who cleans the pool shouted at us when we came to check if it was open. When we got back dressed he had locked the door of the pool for my partner to get in as he was waiting for us and not swimming. He was being nice to a chinese family in the pool and looking at me and my daughter funny. I would not recommend. I would have opted for holiday inn.

The staff at the reception was very courteous and nice while checking in, but they need to little English, as it is impossible to get a reply to any question asked. Even the restaurant staff in the morning breakfast had no idea what I requested for, I mean if someone is working for a brand like Howard Johnson, they ought to know basic English. I am again saying the staff was very nice and tried everything they could do to make us comfortable, but then the right connect was missing.

check in was fast and polite. room as clean and with good tempatature. unlucky becauae there was no water to shower at 5am before going to the airport. check out fast. a positive stay,besides thw water iissue
