I travel a lot for work and this is the first time writing a bad review ever. I was disappointed with this hotel for 2 reasons: 1. Staff at front desk does not speak English. Although my Chinese is OK, they were unwilling to help me. I had an issue with a booking (caused by trip.com). Trip was very friendly and helpful. Staff at front desk told me it wasn’t their problem that they couldn’t find a booking and I should figure it out with the agent, however I clearly had a confirmed booking on my phone. I know the problem wasn’t caused at the hotel, but at the same time I have a booking here with a payment FOR YOUR HOTEL. The least you can do is do everything you can to help me check this issue. Furthermore I had to cancel one night booked for my colleague due to change of plans. If they told me from the beginning cancellation is not possible, my colleague would’ve changed the plan accordingly. The staff told me I should check with trip.com and if they could process the cancellation the hotel can agree. However, we spend 2 days going back and forth, talking to the front desk and talking to trip.com customer service to try and figure it out. Finally at 10 pm (!!!) of the night of the cancellation they finally informed me they cannot cancel. By that time it was too late and my colleague already checked into another hotel, so we spend double the money for no reason. 2. The breakfast is not good, food is low quality. The hotel is clearly locally managed, you can feel it in terms of customer service and food quality. I do not recommend.
