"This time I booked a private hot spring room. The room was very spacious, with two bedrooms, plus a living room, dining area, and a balcony with fantastic mountain views. The private hot spring was also excellent, with sulfur-rich water that was truly rejuvenating. Upon arrival, we were offered green tea and homemade pastries. Both breakfast and dinner were delivered to the room with dedicated service. The alcoholic beverages we ordered were also reasonably priced. The service was superb. This established hotel offers incredible value for money and is definitely worth a second visit."

"The seasonal dishes weren't very good, and there was nothing substantial to eat with rice. It was incredibly crowded and noisy, making for a pretty bad dining experience. The shuttle service, costing 1000 yen one way, was great though – comfortable seats and a very luxurious bus. What was really impressive was the area around the hotel, with two convenience stores, three drugstores, and many small restaurants right outside. Clearly, foot traffic is king here."

"While the onsen was great, the hotel itself is extremely outdated. Everything, including the furniture, feels ancient—the wooden lockers in the onsen area were so old I was hesitant to leave my belongings inside. The buffet was acceptable with enough variety to fill you up, but don't expect high quality. Given that we paid over ¥1,800 for the room and two meals, it was a letdown. Especially after staying at a new hotel in Hakodate the night before—which included two fantastic buffets for just ¥1,400—this Grand Hotel in Noboribetsu was a major disappointment."

"The onsen is located in around 1:15 taxi drive from airport, not exactly easy to get there, but it’s good. That is also one of the few onsens in the region with private onsen in the room. The rooms are large and very spacious, onsen is also on the larger side - 2 people can easily stretch the legs there. Windows can be opened and you can enjoy some view. Beware that there are smoking and not smoking rooms There was a free massage chair in our room, it was one of the fancy ones so we could warm some bones first and stretch some bones later on while you’re warmed up. 10 mins away - conbini store where life is flowing 24/7, Hells valley 10 mins away also. You can take an easy hour trail enjoying the views over nature."

"This was our first family trip, and we stayed here for the first time. The building had a homey atmosphere and simple interior design. It was very conveniently located, with a Seicomart nearby and a Coop within walking distance, allowing us to relax and enjoy our stay. There was a table and chairs for outdoor BBQ. A BBQ set was provided, making preparation quick and easy, but it would be great if they also provided fans. We were able to buy other items nearby, but we struggled to find fans.🤣 We also couldn't find a charcoal pot, so it would be helpful if it were easier to locate. However, the mosquito coils, insect repellent items, and kitchen facilities were more comprehensive than we expected, making cleanup easy and showing great consideration. It's highly recommended for families. 😊 The parking lot is spacious, but please be careful if you have a large vehicle as the road is narrow. It's a great base for sightseeing around Shiraoi and Noboribetsu. ✨✨"

"My first visit to Takinoya was eight years ago, and coming back after all this time, I'm truly impressed by how well everything has been maintained. Although the ryokan has some age to it, it doesn't feel old-fashioned at all. It's truly the best onsen ryokan in Hokkaido in my opinion. We stayed in the D-type room, which not only had its own private onsen but also a separate dining room – incredibly convenient."

Kemudahan itu terlalu lama, dan ia lusuh! Agak mengecewakan. Bufet pada waktu petang juga biasa-biasa saja... Pinggan mangkuk yang digunakan semuanya plastik. Kolam air panas itu juga agak berbeza daripada Daiichi Takikan di sebelah, yang dikenali sebagai kolam air panas luar terbesar? ? Kolam di B1 pada hari kedua tidak mempunyai pemandangan langsung, dan dikelilingi oleh pagar. Satu-satunya perkara yang saya boleh puji: hotel ini boleh menempah bas ke Sapporo. Makan malam itu juga lazat, dan bilik mandi peribadi sangat selesa. Kerana ia adalah hotel lama, kami telah melihat tetamu yang mengalami alahan hama habuk, jadi dia membawa pelekat penghapus hama habuk. Nasib baik, anak saya tidak menunjukkan rasa tidak selesa mata air panas. Kalau boleh, tempah bas dari Sapporo ke Noboribetsu awal-awal naik kereta api JR memang mahal sebab terlupa nak tempah perjalanan pergi balik. Adalah disyorkan untuk hanya berendam di mata air panas pada bulan Januari Kerana salji di Hell Valley, landskap dilitupi dengan salji tebal, dan jalan papan licin, jadi anda hampir tidak dapat merasakan kejutan pemandangan."

"A boutique ryokan in noboribetsu located about 12m taxi ride from the JR station. It is quaint unlike the other bigger hotels in the region. Rooms are very spacious with tatami style futons. Onsen is a little small for the size of the hotel but it is ok as you don’t really get too many guests. The meals included are great. Service was wonderful. On my check out it was super early at 7am and the staff made me onigiris to bring along."
