Center Parcs Park Bostalsee Nohfelden

My husband and I with our daughters aged 8 yrs and 17 months old. This centre parcs has no air-conditioning anywhere. It was over 35 degrees. This park does not facilitate for babys in buggies. Our lodge was on top of a hill and the only way down was steep flights of stairs or rough steeped paths...totally not for baby buggies. The website did not advise about this when we were booking. Most activities were mainly after 2pm. The website didn't really work for booking activities. We will definitely not be returning.

Not a safe place!!!!!!! I just wake up this morning and someone have broken two of my car wheel's with a knife(my car was parked in Center Park, not outside). I spoke with Center Parc and no body know nothing and apparently the barrier is always open and everybody can enter. Everybody at front desk are very kind with me and try to help me but I'm very dissapointed with this holidays because I come with 5 kids on my car and I have a 9 sits cars, so you can understand is a big problem for me don't have my car, in addition to have to pay two wheels, a garage, etc etc, budget don't planned in my holidays. I don't think Center Park should tolerate that

I was here for four nights with my two kids, aged 9 and 12. It’s a very impressive set up. The good: Our chalet (more like a 2 up, 2 down) was comfortable, had good crockery, glasses, pots and pans etc to enable me to cook when we didn’t eat in the main building. Wi-Fi in there was good. I brought a firestick and the Wi-Fi powered it perfectly. The paid activities were excellent. My children did scuba, which they loved particularly, and also pony care and riding and archery. They can’t speak German, but was not an issue. The buffet dinner is worth doing if you have kids. As well as a themed meal, ice cream machine annd chocolate fountain for the kids, all beer and wine is included. Aqua Mundo is great fun. It was a cold but sunny day and to sit in the heated pool under the sun made it feel like the middle of summer. The water slides are very good, some without a traffic light which makes the queue go more quickly. There are many lifeguards throughout Aqua Mundo, more than is typical for a German water attraction. The staff are excellent. The girl behind the desk who rearranged my daughter’s “Mein Pony” when she was sick, the guy who retrieved her lost t-shirt and the lady at breakfast who would make our dinner reservation were all great. The bad: Our chalet was at the very other end of the car free site, maybe 1.5km up a steep hill. It was not within walking distance on a regular basis for a 9 year old. So we would park in car park 2 and drive to the main car park each time. Which kind of defeats the car free concept. I think a shuttle bus, like at Tropical Islands, would be a better idea. And while beer and wine is included in the buffet, I had to drive back to the other car park each night so couldn’t drink it. At Aqua Mundo, several of the attractions are either not working or else working on a reduced basis. There are four wave machines and only one generates waves. There’s a whirlpool and a large jacuzzi seat in the outdoor pool which never turn on. I’m not sure if this is for saving energy or else if they’re broken. Either way, it detracts from the experience. Those things aside, one fundamental issue and one maintenance issue, I recommend CP Bostalsee. Just pay the extra money and choose your chalet early on.

Overpriced and overrated. Appartment not entirely clean, lots of dust in many corners. Missing one sleep package, one towl with mold to be replaced, missing two parking tickets, missing friend package. Provided towls with hair. Overall accommodation outdated. AQUA mundo with limited facilities, compared to other Aqua Mundo facilities in Europe. Outdated aqua area. Changing area had urine smell at the day of our visit. Overall very disappointing visit.

We went to Bostalsee last year and enjoyed it, even though they are outrageously expensive. A three day weekend cost us 700 just for the room and then you have to pay for every last activity, food, etc., separately. It adds up—A LOT. For what we paid for the room, food, and each individual activity, we probably could have gone to Disneyland. Anyway, despite the cost, it wasn’t enough to keep us away because our daughter loved it there. So, we booked a spontaneous long weekend in February. Well, thankfully I added cancellation insurance to my package because my daughter tested positive for COVID the same day we booked and we had to cancel as the trip was scheduled two days later. No exaggeration—the cancellation process has been a NIGHTMARE. You have to file through a separate insurance company and the amount of hoops you have to jump through just to be refunded your money is completely ridiculous! We’ve needed to submit birth certificates to prove she’s our daughter, a whole medical questionnaire from the doctor, the positive test, booking and cancellation emails, and it goes on and on and on. Without that insurance, it wouldn’t even be possible to get a refund. The process has genuinely felt like they are trying to make it so difficult to get your money back, that they want you to give up (which we won’t do.) Our trip was booked for February, we canceled within 24 hours of booking, and it’s now April and we are STILL haggling for our money. It should not be this difficult to cancel a holiday and be refunded our money. We will NOT be returning to a Centre Parc as this whole experience has been utterly ridiculous.

Aller gute Dinge sind 3. Oder doch nicht? Im Frühjahr 2023 haben wir CP Bostalsee entdeckt, außer Allgäu der einzige CP in Deutschland den wir noch nicht kannten. Der Anfang war etwas holprig: Wir kamen in unserem Haus an, das total verdreckt war. Alter Kaffeesatz in der Kaffeemaschine, Kühlschrank noch mit Lebensmitteln, Terrassentür offen, ein riesiger Riss im Panoramafenster, Zigaretten etc., überall Käfer (wahrscheinlich weil die Tür wer weiß wie lange offen stand). Kundenservice hat aber nach Beschwerde sofort reagiert und wir bekamen ein Upgrade in ein VIP Haus. Der Urlaub war super schön, wir hatten eine tolle Zeit und haben daraufhin sehr zeitnah unseren Sommerurlaub 2023 auch dort gebucht. Diesmal von vornherein ein VIP Haus mit gemachten Betten und Handtuch Paketen. Wie im Frühjahr mit Halbpension, das Buffet war morgens und abends super und vor allem abends immer sehr abwechslungsreich. Das Haus war sauber und wir wurden mit einem kleinen Spiel als Geschenk (CP Friends Programm) und Kaffee für die Gusto Kaffeemaschine und Teebeuteln begrüßt. Und natürlich nicht zu vergessen, die Vanity kits mit Duschgel, Seife und Shampoo. Dennoch hatte das Haus einige kleine Mängel: abstehenden Fliese im Bad auf dem Boden (man musste aufpassen, dass man nicht hängen bleibt) und nicht nur tropfenden sondern in alle Richtungen sprühenden Duschbrausen… man sah auch den VIP die Abnutzung an, aber die Zeit an sich war trotzdem schön. So, nun dieses Jahr wieder CP Bostalsee für den Sommerurlaub gebucht. Auch wieder VIP Haus wie im letzten Jahr, Halbpension etc. Wo fange ich an? Diesmal hatten wir eine volle Woche gebucht, Freitag bis Freitag. Wir haben für 4 Tage gepackt, gibt ja einen Waschsalon vor Ort wie in allen anderen Parks auch. Am Haus angekommen, lagen erstmal 2 große Säcke dreckige Wäsche vor der Tür. Die lagen da auch am nächsten Tag noch einen halben Tag lang bis sie dann endlich mal eingesammelt wurden. Drinnen, Boden in der Küche beschädigt und stand ab, also die obere Plastikschicht. Da ist man hin und wieder mal dran hängen geblieben. Denke da gab es mal einen Wasserschaden und jetzt löst sich eben die PVC Beschichtung. Warum das nicht behoben wird, ist mir nicht ersichtlich, muss ja spätestens dem Housekeeping auffallen. Die Kindermöbel im Spielzimmer waren in horrendem Zustand mit teilweise richtig großen Löchern. Der Garten vor und hinter dem Haus hatte auch schon länger keine Pflege mehr gesehen. Alles war überwachsen. Die Betten waren bezogen, die Handtücher waren auch vorhanden, nur leider gab es diesmal keinen Begrüßungskaffee oder Tee. Auch die Vanity kits gab es nicht mehr. Dafür gibt es im Bad jetzt einen Seifenspender an der Wand und in der Dusche einen Spender für Duschgel. Warum ich dies erwähne? Zeitgleich mit uns waren wohl ein paar “Influencer” vor Ort. Deren Instagram Stories hatte der Park geteilt und darauf sah man eben zB. vergleichsweise riesige Willkommenspakete mit Getränken, Essen, Süßkram und mit handges

Wir waren das erste Mal in einem Center Park. Leider konnten wir erst um 15.45 Uhr ins Zimmer. Haben uns vorher die gegen angeschaut, da wir uns im voraus ein Golfcar ausgeliehen haben. Die Wege dort sind weitläufig. Hatten zum Glück ein Haus in zone 5 und lagen dadurch recht mittig. Unser Mitleid galt zone 6 und 7. Sehr weit oben und weg vom Schuss. Das Haus war in Ordnung, leider keine Fliegengitter. Das Nachbarhaus hatte aber welche... Im WC lag die Klobürste auf dem Boden rum. Der Behälter hat gefehlt. Es war sehr heiß im Haus, vor allem oben In den Schlafräumen. Klimaanlage gab es nicht. Viele Aktivitäten sehr teuer. Wir waren ein paar Mal im market dome Restaurant Essen. Das Personal spricht kaum Deutsch, Verständigung war teilweise schwierig. Unser schmutziges Geschirr wurde einfach nicht abgeräumt und mussten ewig auf die Rechnung warten. Sehr sehr ärgerlich, danach sind wir nicht mehr hin. Das Essen war Fertigessen für einen hohen Preis. Das Schwimmbad war ganz gut. Dort waren wir die meiste Zeit, da es den Kinder n dort am meisten gefallen hat. Würden das nächste Mal nur 5 Tage buchen. Empfehle allen Gästen sich im voraus gut zu informieren über die Ausstattung und die Gegebenheiten vor Ort. Hatten das Glück, dass Freunde die schon da waren, uns im voraus Tipps gegeben haben.

Alles in allem war der Park sehr schön und das Haus war sauber. Die Kinder konnten eine Menge erleben, vor allem am See und im Aqua Mundo. Leider waren die Restaurants und der Supermarkt sehr überteuert, so dass wir auswärts einkaufen waren und nur einmal richtig im Restaurant essen waren. Über einen kleinen Souvenirs Shop hätten wir uns gefreut, leider gab es den nicht. Das Personal, der Kundenservice und alle Mitarbeiter waren sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Aqua Fitness hat mir und meiner Tochter am besten gefallen.

Eigentlich können wir unseren, jetzt den dritten, Aufenthalt im Centerparcs Bostalsee nur als ENTTÄUSCHEND zusammenfassen. - Ferienhaus war aussen in einem Miserablem Zustand. Die Aussenfassade war defekt (Löcher, Holzpfosten morsch, Fenster nicht dicht. Gartenmöbel dreckig und zum Teil defekt. Ebenfalls war der Sitzplatz generell in einem sehr schlechten Zustand. - Ferienhaus innen, feucht, Schimmel an den Fenster, nicht richtig Gereinigt, Abfall vom Vormieter in der Sofaecke und im Schlafzimmerschrank. Licht in der Küchenzeile ebenfalls defekt. - Mitarbeiterinnen am Empfang, gaben einen das Gefühl das wir als KUNDEN / GÄSTE, Ihnen nur Arbeit machen und stören. Aqua Mundo - Die Sauberkeit lässt im Dusch- und Gardarobenbereich zu wünschen übrig. - Mehere Umziehkabinen defekt, lassen sich nicht schliessen. - Es roch zweitweise nach Fäkallien - Mehrer Wasserakraktionen funktionierten nicht immer. Supermarkt - Schlecht Auswahl an Früchten, Gemüse und Fleisch. - Überteuert Trotz den oben genannten Negativenpunkten können wir folgendes Postiv bewerten. Die Mitarbeiter/innen am Cycle Center. Diese wissen, wie man mit GÄSTEN umgeht, damit man sich verstanden und ernstgenommen fühlt. Postiv können wir auch den Schnupper Tauchkurs bewerten, dieser wurde auf einem professionellen Nivau durchgeführt, ohne das das Pass zu kurz kam.
