When we arrived at the hotel, we were greeted without any smiles and lack of interest. The lobby smelt vile. When we went up to our room, we were met with the smell of stale cigarettes. There were cigarette burns in the bedding and even the bedding smelt of it. Baring in mind non of us are smokers and we had our 5 year old daughter with us. The window was unsafe it had no child safety locks - which I understand we are in a different country so their safety standards can be different than to ours. The cleaning standard was disgusting the bathroom was filthy and it was not hygienic at all. We went back to reception and the gave us another key for the room next door. When we went to check the new room it was exactly the same. We went back down to reception and asked for our money back. They said because the manager wasn’t there they can’t do that so we had to fill out a complaints form with our contact details and our complaint. We left and had to book something else, so we booked to stay at the Art Hotel Eiffel which was lovely but we lost out on the money we paid for the original hotel plus the time taken away from our holiday and the wasted taxi fares The hotel is refusing to pay compensation for the two nights we were booked there - even though we never even stayed there. Booking.com not willing to do anything either! It’s not worth trying to save money - book something nicer and more central to Paris as this is quite far out from the centre and metro not as easy to use as we thought.

Accueil très agréable et très professionnel. Hôtel très calme et très bien situé. Chambre assez spacieuse, lit très confortable et salle de bains très fonctionnelle. Donc une première qui appellera d'autres séjours si l'occasion se présente ! Nous recommandons chaudement cet établissement !

Cette hôtel est très agréable et confortable. Le personnel est d’une extrême gentillesse. Les chambres sont lumineuses, très bien aménagées et joliment décorées. Le petit déjeuner est copieux et le personnel au petit soin. Une piscine olympique n’est pas très loin. Une guinguette super sympa l’été est au pied de l’hôtel. Un bowling est également à proximité. Les bords de Marne sont magnifiques.

Would highly recommend this Hostel. Location is right next to a metro but also a good walking to distance from many other metros and place de la nation which is great for restaurants. Didn’t eat at the hostel so can’t comment on that but the buffet breakfast did look good & all guests get 10% off food and their own beer during the stay. I found all the facilities to be clean, the bathrooms are out with the bedrooms which I find to be good as you don’t have to be dead silent. Could be doing with a door to the urinal and some hooks on the toilet doors and not just the shower door. Rooms are decent sized the only downside was the positioning of the main room lights & switch. if left on overnight was annoying and very bright. Each bed has a light though which is good when the main light is off. Hairdryer also available which can be taken to the bathroom. Friendly staff and large reception/bar area where there is something on most nights with lots of people in attendance. I was a solo traveller this occasion and would recommend to others.

This hotel is DISGUSTING. I would not recommend it unless you are a chain smoker and happy to sleep in a filthy ashtray. We had a great trip around France, stayed in some lovely places, met wonderful people and sadly our last place fell through at the last minute leaving us driving around looking for somewhere to stay. We arrived at the “hotel” and the reception staff on duty said it was cheaper to book online- so we stood in front of them stood and booked on our phone. In good faith and with an exhausted family we walked up to the two rooms with our belongings and into a hazey room with a stench of stale fags. All of us stood there initially in shock. The room looked like an old prison cell. The beds were dirty and child’s bed not made, in a manly plastic bag and dirty. The stench of the room hit as we opened the door. I literally burst into tears. After a bad day this was the straw that broke the camels back! We checked out both rooms- they were both absolutely rancid in smell - and so we collected our belongings and left immediately. My children’s health is important to me. We don’t smoke and so I would not put them into a room with a foul stench of cigarettes. I certainly would not let them sleep in a room which was that bad: it would be like sleeping in a old fashioned night club during the 90s! We went back to reception and two men working there said we could change rooms. I explained it was a non smoking room but stank and the man working on reception said that many of their guests don’t respect the rules and smoke in the rooms so all the rooms are the same. I explained we were looking for a non smoking room which the hotel advertises- I pointed to the signs around reception showing non smoking!!! and if they couldn’t give us a non smoke too then they needed to refund. I asked for my money back as we had barely been in the room and was told they would refund three nights but not that night because it was non refundable. We had been in the hotel a few minutes! We booked in good faith expecting a clean room- not a hovel. The rooms were not fit for purpose. They stank. Literally stank. Mysteriously two days later the “management” contacted us to say that their staff had checked the rooms and they did not have an odour. I can only imagine that the staff had completely lost all memory an entire conversation with my family, in front of other guests when they ADMITTED that all the rooms stank! I can only imagine that they had a miraculous change of mind ….. Hmm I wonder why! (Unless staff were heavy smokers and nose blind!) Clearly all staff we saw that evening were fully aware that most guests (his words) ignore the rules and smoke in the rooms then they have a duty to enforce the rule or refund honest guests money so they can move on to a clean room. Staff at the hotel have not only now taken money for a service they can not provide, they have lied, presumably to cover up the fact that they have failed to check rooms. Ibis and Accor have l

L'hôtel est bien situé. L'équipe accueillante, dynamique et sympathique. Rien à redire de ce côté là. La literie est parfait également. Concernant la chambre, travaux à faire ? La grille de la salle de bain es accroché avec du scotch. Nous venons depuis des années et on avait jamais vu cela. Notre chambre sentait la cigarette en fin de soirée et la fumée était passée par la porte communicante. Il est pourtant interdit de fumer en chambre. On a prévenu la réception qui nous a dit, étant complet, on ne pouvait pas changer de chambre mais ouvrir la fenêtre. Nuit désagréable et beaucoup trop de bruit. Quel dommage.

Hôtel situé près d'une zone commerciale, très bien tenu avec un personnel accueillant et à l'écoute. Le parking est un problème suivant l'heure à laquelle vous arrivez. Les chambres sont propres, les twins moins confortables que les grands lits. J'ai eu l'impression aussi d'être plus à l'étroit. Mais bon ce n'est que mon impression. Pour des nuits dans le cadre d'affaires, je trouve l'hôtel reposant. J'en ai fait mon étape.

For a 2 star hotel this is excellent. Located just a couple of minutes from the RER station and travelling as a solo female in a wheelchair I never felt uncomfortable about the area. Hotel was clean, lift big enough, loved that accessible room could easily be booked online, breakfast excellent value and decent choices for the price. Room was big enough to move around in wheelchair, plug by the bed is always good, large wet room bathroom met my needs. Bins emptied, bed made and towels replaced if needed daily. Could hear trains a little but not bad and they do stop between midnight and 6am ish.
