Scarborough Hill Country Inn

Wow what a find. Absolutely beautiful country house with stunning grounds and decor. The hosts were lovely and the breakfast was fresh, hot and delicious. Will definitely be back as one night was not enough in the most comfortable bed … we would highly recommend this place.

Really lovely clean rooms in a quiet location, lots of choice of tea, coffee and hot chocolate. Bed was so comfy. Staff friendly and one of the best breakfasts we have had. I'm definitely coming back with our doggy. It was unmanned when we got there but did have an email explaining this the day before we arrived so it wasn't an issue. Great communication

We stayed for two nights in the Hamilton Suite where we found the room to be spacious and very clean. Plenty of choice of tea, coffee, hot chocolate and milk and a fast boiling kettle! The bed was very comfortable with lovely pillows and crisp white bedding. Beautiful spacious bathroom containing a fabulous bath and shower with more than enough pressure together with towels that were soft and generous in size. The bufffet breakfast offered plenty of choice of local produce, cereal, fruit etc presented very well in a delightful room with plenty of room between the tables. Unlimited tea and coffee served by the welcoming Alison at our table. The grounds are delightful and very quiet.

Stayed for one night in one of the cottages. I am a house keeper so very critical when it comes to cleanliness when staying away and it was immaculate. Such a beautiful cottage with no expense spared. Great quality interiors, lots of extras and a welcome pack. Breakfast was incredible, the staff was very helpful and welcoming. 10/10 recommend and we will be returning soon

We booked this hotel prior to a family party a few weeks before they were due to go I paid deposit on behalf of my friends explaining they would pay balance on arrival as they same as they did last July 4 days before they took full payment off my card without any authorisation unfortunately on the tues they my had their mum die very suddenly and obviously didn’t come down after numerous un answered phone calls and E mails I eventually got to speak to sister hotel at hotel Wroxham Tried getting money back but wouldn’t allow it so when I had a call back from scarbough hill they agreed I could use the nights at another time after trying to get my money back I e mailed once again and had a message saying I couldn’t now use these nights I find this totally unacceptable and a disgraceful way to treat customers. I do not recommend anyone booking this hotel or hotel Wroxham especially scarbough hill we have a local business in the town and I find the customer service is awful and Definetly wouldn’t recommend them

Lovely place, friendly staff & scrummy breakfasts! My elderly Mum & Aunt stayed in the stables (ground floor & self-contained) & I was in the hotel - both beautifully appointed. No dinner service but can recommend locally The Gunton Arms & Wroxham Hotel.
