Northampton South (Wootton)

We stayed for the weekend at premier inn wootton. Everyone was really welcoming and friendly. The staff went the extra mile to make our stay special. The room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast in the morning was delicious. Thanks for a lovely stay

Very clean and comfortable room. Extremely warm though. Fans were supplied but we needed more than that. It can't be helped as there isn't any air-conditioning . Breakfast was good and the team were great. A lady called Jackie was especially nice to us. She was attentive and kind.

We arrived at the hotel and were greeted by a smiling receptionist. Our room was clean, the bathroom spic and span. We dropped into a very comfortable bed. If I had any problems, it is that I get very hot, and a thick duvet can prove a little trying, but I slept well. Breakfast was a dream. Jackie, our breakfast host, and the chef Laura provided us with a comfortable area and excellent breakfast. We were well looked after. I find breakfast can be easily messed up, but I thoroughly enjoyed it all. Thank you to all.

Extremely comfortable stay but must mention the excellent breakfast staff. Chef Laura and server Jackie- what a phenomenal team. Nothing was too much trouble for Jackie, she was polite, courteous and very attentive. I can honestly say the service was better than I experienced at the Ritz when I went. There is only the two of them feeding the customers and Laura is ‘on it’ with making sure all breakfast options are constantly topped up. It’s also the little things we noticed - on the first morning we required an extra knife. Jackie promptly when to retrieve one for us carefully handing it to by the handle. May not seem like a lot but restaurants these days charge fortunes and the staff are us usually incapable of understanding this type of etiquette. Premier Inn are extremely lucky to have these staff, the stay was great value (only £10.99 for breakfast) in clean surroundings. We have left feeing happy and relaxed. Stayed at this hotel last night for a nearby family funeral . We asked for early check in so we could refresh and change after the drive . Jo was a total star and made sure our room was ready and waiting on arrival . Nothing was too much trouble . Absolutely the best service ever from a premier inn and we have stayed in many . Thank Jo .

The staff are always friendly, I feel safe staying here when I’m traveling on my own and to top all that they now have their own restaurant! I had breakfast this morning and it was great! My server Jackie was a happy, friendly face and very efficient plus great at her job.

It was dark when we arrived & there were no signposts to reception so after driving around the car park we eventually found a sign! The room was booked for 2 adults we were issued 1 key & not asked if we wanted another; the room was basic & located in the annexe & we had to return to reception to get towels, maybe ask for these when checking in. No decaf tea / coffee available. The wifi was shocking & I wasn’t going to pay for an upgrade for 2 hours. Hotel was quite noisy or at least we could hear the people constantly walking around above us. If it’s hotel based on location then it’s a good choice but if you want anything more then …..

One night stay for Supercar fest which was a 15minute drive away. Unfortunately, we arrived to discover we didn’t have adjoining rooms (despite a telephone call, to the hotel that morning) and I was initially very frustrated. However, Shannon in reception was very apologetic and explained because the hotel was full, there was no way to rectify this. Without prompting we were offered free breakfast by means of an apology. Despite the restaurant being very busy, the following morning.Happy, our server, was very processional and remained calm and accommodating throughout. Chef, Jackie, served up a lovely breakfast, whilst being rushed off her feet. Would definitely return, if we were travelling to this area again.
