It was priced well (going through trip.com was half the price of booking direct...AND the hotel told me NOT to book through another company as they might not honor the Rez!?!?!?!?)
It is an old tired lady. The bathroom was disgusting....The shower clogged with hair and didnt drain. the bed was lumpy and the heat was either a blast or not at all so I chose not at all. Took about 20 minuets to get the room heated up.
Felt like a cheap hotel 6. That said, all the newer hotels are twice the price. For a quick overnight it was fine

This is an older property that could use some updates BUT the staff and the cleanliness more than make up for any deficiencies. They went above and beyond to make our event first rate.

What a gem! This property is quite elegant, with marble floors and waterfall in the lobby. It is conveniently located just a bit off main highway, but in quiet area. Although some of the furniture in the room was a bit scratched, it was very clean and comfortable, with the amenities you would expect (coffee maker, mini fridge). I have stayed at other hotels in Norwalk, but will be returning here from now on. This is by far the best value, and nicest staff, I have experienced in this area.

I recognize that it was the holiday week but the hotel had NO FOOD SERVICE, other than vending machine snacks and a few items we could microwave in our room, with no plates, no utensils. I was very disappointed as I had stayed in October and so recommended it to family when we were all together. My family booked total of 10 room nights.

Room was clean, but requested two queen beds and got a king- no problem. Asked for bottled water to buy when we arrived at 10:30pm after a long drive. No more left. Room was cold and couldn't turn up heat. No place to hang a dress or suit. Bathroom was too small for two people to get ready. Appreciated the magnifying mirror, but there wasn't enough light to put on make-up. We got one tiny bar of soap that we had to switch from sink to tub back and forth. There was no mirror outside the bathroom to dry hair while other person was in shower. Appreciated the hair dryer on the wall, but the cord was too short and again too people couldn't be in there. The sink/mirror outside the shower/bathroom would have been nice. There was no full length mirror. There was hardly any light in the room. When you get in your 50's and 60's, you can't see without light to get ready and to put on makeup.
