Lovely hotel, reception and bar areas very nice with the reception areas having lovely marble flooring. Our room was lovely some aspects a little dated and the flooring was very sloped. Most definitely didn’t affect our time. Great parking, and in a brilliant location a short walk from shops, bars and restaurants. Would book the hotel again.

Real value for money at this well sited hotel which was within easy walking distance of the city centre.Room comfortable and clean: staff welcoming. Bonus of multi-storey car park within 200 metres of hotel - allow £15 approx for night plus full days parking. Evening meals a bit predictable but as part of meal deal offers convenient and competitive option if you don’t fancy going out to eat. Premier Inn have upped their game!!

From the moment we walked into reception, we received the warmest of welcomes. Sarah, who checked us in was just incredible. We just kind of hit it off and we had a good laugh. She was mind and caring and made us smile - and she said that a day without smiles is a wasted day - and I truly believe that. When we came back ij the evenijg, she very kindly came up tonus alwith a bag that had bottles of water and crisps in it to take back to our room room. I will remember our stay here mainly because of Satah and her delightful ways The room was comfortable, warm, quiet and just what we needed for the one night stay. Rating this at 3 because although it’s not exactly a luxury hotel, it’s nevertheless decent basic accommodation at a reasonable price. You get a well-kept - and clean - room and bathroom, with a coffee station, and a small desk. Check-in was friendly and helpful (though, rather worryingly, conducted from behind a security screen!) There’s free WiFi that works, and (for an extra fee) a breakfast but note that this is veggie/vegan only. On the down side, the walls of our room were very thin and we heard, erm…. everything going on next door. There’s no a/c so to cool the room you have to open the window and again the area can sometimes be noisy. Perhaps most lacking of all is any off-street parking. Daytime weekdays and Saturdays you can’t park in the street outside either as its residents only.

Really enjoyable stay. Clean, comfortable and well priced. Staff friendly. Breakfast was continental but lots of choice. No complaints at all. Toast, cereal, yoghurt, fruit etc. Room was very hot. My single room was smaller than expected but fine for a night. Was a bit of noise around 6am with vehicles leaving the Post Office Depot. I did sleep ok though. Great location for rail station and football ground. Would I stay again…….yes but would opt for a bigger room

A little far of a walk from the clubs but not too bad. The desk man seemed a bit grumpy, whoever has good customer service. I called up several times with questions and they were always very nice over the phone. They have a 24hr front desk so, perfect for late check ins. However, early in the morning the cleaning crew tried to get in my room (but I had the top latch on, so they kept banging the door open and shut in attempts to take it off), and I had to get up to let them know I was still there. I was then told that in the system it said I had checked out an hour prior.

We were delighted with this hotel. Parking with my blue badge was easy and close to reception. The staff were friendly and helpful. We were pleased with the layout and spaciousness of our room.Decor is good, and we had very pleasant meals in the conservatory. We are light eaters and found what we wanted by using the illustrated tablets provided by the staff. We did have a problem, though. As I was pleased with the service for the evening meals I left a tip each time and it was only after I checked the bill at home that I found gratuities had been added. We were not advised of this and saw no advice of it on the tablet menus. A shame - until then we were very happy. It doesn't stop us going again but we shall leave no tips!

Very nice hotel. We had a great couple of days. Upon arrival we were given a room upgrade. We stayed in a suite which was very comfortable and nice. The food in a restaurant was good although we had dinner only once. The spa was a nice treat, especially enjoyed the steam room.

My partners daughter booked us a 1 night stay here for his birthday,and a table for Sunday lunch.on arriving we weren't sure if we were in the correct car park as there's no signs to say it was.check in 4 the room wasn't until 2pm and our table 4 lunch was 1pm so we had a drink in the bar first.therez a large seating area outside but only a small bar area so if weather is bad there wouldn't be many seats to sit in.we both choose Sunday roast 4 lunch,the farmers roast that you get a slice of all 3 meats,I have 2 be honest i couldnt taste the difference in them.overall the roast had a strange taste,I can't really put my finger on it,there was a lot of herbs especially rosemary on my plate I prefer potatoes etc..not covered in herbs.the cauliflowercheese was mushy..the desserts were lovely.we had few drinks on the terrace later and scones and cream which was lovely the room we had overlooked the side of the hotel..i didn't sleep very well in the bed,the bed itself was good but the pillows were awfull,the room was quite stuffy but I didn't feel comfortable leaving the window open.,couldnt fully turn off the shower and the radiator in the room clearly leaks as there was a tea towel wrapped round it which looked like it had been there a while.we didn't have breakfast before leaving as my partner had work commitments. Overall this hotel has a great location overlooking the river which definately makes it popular,there are a few things that could do with fixing here to make it an excellent hotel.

Evening food was lovely in the brasserie. The golf course was lovely. We played the hill course. The spa was great. Great range of treatments and people were nice. Location and general feel about Barnham broom is amazing. The smaller sized resort is much better aswell. The 2 downsides: The breakfast was horrendous. The quality of the food and the state it was cooked in was diabolical. (Full english) the hot drinks were also done with little to no care and was not good at all. The bar in the middle of the hotel between the brasserie and the sports bar would be an amazing place to have proper drinks, lovely setting and great for people to have a nice evening drink. This wasn't manned and we were just directed to the sports bar as a couple to get drinks instead...which is more 'laddy' than we wanted for our after evening drinks. Which was a shame.

There is something quite rustic to the place. It’s no Hilton, but serves the purpose for tired travellers.

PPengguna TetamuVery friendly, welcoming and efficient staff. The lift was out of order but help with our luggage was offered immediately. Room was immaculate and well equipped, with air conditioning and a comfortable bed. The only inconvenience was no socket for the hairdryer near a mirror. Breakfast was well presented with a good choice of hot and cold items, but more seating would be useful. Staff were clearing tables as quickly as possible, but as it was a warm and sunny morning we ate outside. Would definitely stay here again.

HHera HoltA potentially lovely little serviced accommodation. Superficially tidy but everything a bit tired and grubby. No hairdryer, stale refillable bottles of toiletries, crusty bits around the taps etc. It is so close to being gorgeous; it just needs a bit of love! The noise from the pub over the road was pretty bad but that’s to be expected during graduation weekend. The concierge at the desk was very pleasant and I feel bad giving this review but it is honest.

ZZara MonicaBooked for one night to go to the football at Carrie road which is about 15min walk from hotel town centre is about 20min walk, it is easy to get to from the station just a short walk, arrived and some other guests let me in at first as the manager was not there, he arrived a few minutes later and quickly booked quests in, very easy process he showed me were I was staying as staying the other side of hotel, told me if I had any problems to ring the number on the paper stuck to the back of the door, and if I wanted to use the WiFi the code was also there. Room was small but had a shower toilet and sink as well as a hairdryer and clothes rack. There was also a kettle with tea and coffee facilities. Overall place was clean and tidy I stayed in the top part at the front it was a pleasant stay.

PPengguna TetamuClean, comfortable and compact accommodation with all the basics. Very convenient if you want to visit the university, a little less so if you want to visit the city centre, although there are regular bus services. Supermarket and coffee shop close by, pleasant surroundings. Have stayed a few times and would do so again.

I have to confess that I am a member of this establishment so have a vested interest in its success, but having just come off the golf course in need of a beer and some food, I was greeted enthusiastically by the bar staff despite the fact that the bar area was crowded with golf society folk who had obviously had a few bevvies, a private party and a full restaurant. The staff were literally running to make sure food was getting to where it was needed. There was a delay on food and we were advised in advance. Despite this our food was well cooked and very tasty. Special thanks to Maddy and Adam who always go the extra mile. Just be aware guys that you are appreciated by us members who see your hard work and dedication. PS this is a golf club so if you want a cheap pint get the number 29 bus to Norwich and get off at Hellesdon.

HHighfieldLooks a little run down outside and quite dated inside.
We spent one night in a twin room which was reasonably clean however i would suggest they upgrade the mattress protectors. Nice little complementary tray with water, tea coffee sugar and biscuits.
Staff on reception were very friendly.
We didn't eat in the restaurant so can't comment.
Overall stay was good.
