The hotel is conveniently located. Rooms were clean and well equipped. Beds were comfortable. We used the spa but not the gym. Both were well equipped and maintained. Good for relaxing after the journey. There was no evening dining as it was a Sunday but that had been well signposted beforehand so we were able to arrange an alternative. Staff were very helpful and professional at all times. Would not hesitate to rebook.

I came to the Crown Plaza, Nottingham for a conference early June. The hotel itself was nice, modern and comfortable. My room was not adequately cleaned as there were hairs in my shower upon arrival, unreplenished hygiene products in the bathroom and the toilet uncleaned. The room Itself was small, but fine for sleeping in. My TV did not work, but as it was one night this wasn’t a bother. The breakfast and lunch were great, formal dinner however was awful and poor, not worth paying for. Servers were unversed in allergen training, and the allergen and dietary requirement food options were awfully poor. The manager on duty however, was apologetic and wonderful. The best thing about this hotel was the staff (excusing F&B teams poor allergen training and food options). Particularly Abigail, Malakai and Zak on the bar who were so warm, polite and accommodating. Wonderful service throughout and a credit to the team. Thank you three.

We had arranged a weekend with friends in Nottingham and had booked 2 rooms. First morning the housekeeping staff came as we were leaving, for the day out we had planned. When we returned we expected our room to have been serviced, no towels at all in the room and no made bed. Nothing on the tea/ coffee tray had been replenished. When we rang reception to get some towels no one answered so after a long day we had to go down to reception to get them to get us some towels, after waiting nearly 5 mins while the reception staff ignored us we were told someone would bring us some towels. Next morning our friends went down to breakfast early before us, to be told it wasn’t included in the room - it was, and rather than check the booking they were very rudely told that they couldn’t have breakfast. They were not even offered the option to pay for a breakfast. They ended up going elsewhere for breakfast much to our embarrassment after we had arranged the weekend and booked the room. After speaking with reception they confirmed that breakfast was included and gave us a card saying we were entitled to breakfast - much use that is as our friends had already gone and had breakfast elsewhere and we were not offered a refund on our booking.

We stayed in the hotel over the weekend (Fri, Sat & Sunday) as we were attending ”The Gloworm Festival” with other family members who were glamping. The room was small, but was perfect for our activity which was get up, get ready, and go out to the festival! We slept like logs as the beds were nice and comfy. Using the bedroom as a base to be located in and to safely store our belongings was perfect. The TV in our room was the size of a postage stamp but who cares, we were at the festival. It fit the bill for our needs so we give it a thumbs up. On leaving we spent a few minutes chatting to a lovely staff member who brought some festive cheer to my mood (I am sorry I did not catch the gent's name but we will call him ”Santa Klaus” for those who know! But what a lovely man to have at the reception desk. Was it the best hotel I have visited, no. Was it the worst, no. But for our weekend it did all we asked for and for all that was needed. A safe warm place to sleep with safe parking and nice staff.

PPengguna TetamuWhat a find ! I was looking for somewhere handy for some work I had locally and found this great little place. Perry and Paul (hope I got your names right !) are so friendly and helpful. I was told 5pm for check in but they were so accommodating when I asked if I could check in earlier. The room was clean and had all the mod cons I needed - including strong wi-fi for my work. I was leaving before breakfast (starts at 0730), but Perry couldn't do enough for me and she rustled up a lovely bacon sarnie for me to take away in the morning. I'll definitely be back when work brings me to the area again.

KKW365A reasonably pleasant stay at this hotel with no problems in my 2 night stay other than a noisy person staying next door but that is no fault of the hotel. It is conveniently located right near the centre of Nottingham. Lots of scaffolding outside at time of visit but no noise during the night and no noise from people outside, though it was mid week and the room facing away from the street

MMatchy WuWe have a fantastic stay in Doubletree by Hilton in Nottingham. The room is very spacious, much bigger than those Doubletree hotel rooms in other cities, good value for money! The amenities and facilities are of high quality. The housekeeping staff are very friendly and helpful. Check-in process is very smooth. The welcoming cookies are very tasty too!
Although the location of the hotel is a little far from the town centre, we can easily drive to there and the hotel car park is free.
Highly recommended!

PPengguna TetamuLovely hotel - couldn’t get a better location sadly let down by the size of the room (bathroom was ok) but bedroom was very tight. By far the worst problem was a lack of working air conditioning. It was a hot night and although an air con unit was in the room we couldn’t get it to work no matter what we tried. Due to the heat, sleep was a scarce commodity during our stay. If we’d have booked for longer than a night I would have not have slept in that room again if there was working no air con.

I was disappointed by the spa area, the pool water was cold and the jacuzzi water was also cold and not even the slightest bit warm.
The breakfast was lovely with such a range to enjoy from. The food in the restaurant just seemed like it’s trying to be too fancy. For the price,there really wasn’t much on the plate and it could have been seasoned more. The bar menu gave more promise than the restaurant so was a shame to have a nice setting but the food just didn’t live up to it.
Overall I enjoyed my stay and would return to this hotel. The service was great and the staff were excellent. Thank you for a lovely stay!

Great Apartment hotel, 10 min walk from the city centre, great location surrounded by pubs and shops, tesco is only a 5 min walk making it easy to buy groceries for your apartment. The room was very clean and up to standards, was provided with clean towels, body wash, washing up liquid, bin liners, sponge, toilet roll, hand wash, iron and ironing board, hair dryer, heating.. everything you would expect from a hotel. Note that it is a self catering hotel though so if you are staying for less than 7 nights you will need to get your own things. However I booked for 8 nights and received a free clean halfway through my stay, you will have to ask for this through messages. Always got a quick response when messaging the owner which was great! There is a small garden if you are a smoker with benches so you can sit and chill. The TV is smart so you can watch netflix, amazon prime, YouTube, itv ect or just normal TV which was amazing as I am strictly a amazon prime and netflix girly! The shower has amazing pressure it's literally like you're getting a massage and the bathroom in general feels as though you're in a spa, very modern decor! The only thing I feel could be improved is the temperature of the rooms, especially in winter, I stayed in January and the heating goes to 23° max which I thought was a little low for winter time, especially seeing as the floor is laminate, maybe add a small rug or turn up the heating to 25° so guests can be more comfortable, however I am one of those people who get cold very easy so it may just be me lol! Thank you so much for an amazing stay, will definitely stay again and recommend to family and friends.

PPengguna TetamuWe had booked the hotel for 2 nights to wonder into the city centre ,this was very ideal as everything is within walking distance. We arrived a little earlier than the check in and had pre booked the car park , luckily they let us park up straight the way and collect our room keys later on. The parking spaces are very small! Later on , we came to collect our keys , as we had already done the online check in sent via email. The room was very spacious for the 2 of us , the one thing that wasn't available was a mini refrigerator, that was a shame as it would have been ideal. The air con/heater was also very loud once turned on. The walls are very thin as are the windows , you can hear everything around you. We visited the bar whilst at our stay , it was very quiet which was good and had the golf on in the back ground , it could have done with some background music. During our 2nd night here we got woken up at just gone 1am , the fire alarm was going off in our room , woken up by the noise we were concerned and quickly started to get changed to leave the room,the alarm then went off and we looked through our hole in the door to see what was going on , we waited to here from the team about what had happened but nobody came to inform us. We then started to get back into bed and the alarm went off again at just gone 1.30am , once again we jumped up and it stopped. We were not informed but the staff what was happening, we then tried to go back to sleep but heard the fire alarms going off in all of the rooms around us for several minutes, we eventually managed to fall back sleep. Whilst checking out we asked about what had happened and the staff at reception just laughed it off and said it was the restaurant downstairs that had caused them to go off. There was no apology for disturbing our stay or for not informing us what had happened. This unfortunately made the end of our stay very disappointing.

PPengguna TetamuThis is a basic hotel the few of the amenities you might get elsewhere. But at £50 for the night all my needs were met. As others have stated it’s a bit quirky having to arrange a booking in time but the place is otherwise unstaffed. The bed was clean and comfy, warm too as it was -1 outside. If all you want is somewhere to lay your head for the night then it’s very nice. I was in one of the upper rooms and the en-suite toilet was a of the macerator variety - no paper down the loo. But this did not distract from the overall stay.

The room was reasonably clean and had everything for a short stay- kettle, tea and coffee etc, tv, dressing table with chair, wardrobe, bedside drawers, telephone, free Wi-Fi, plenty of plug sockets inc two usb sockets. Hand wash in bathroom had run out but we had shower gel provided. The mirrors could have been cleaner, and there were some stains on the walls. However, the bed was comfortable and clean, and the room was airy and surprisingly quiet. Free parking. Friendly and helpful manager and staff- happy to call a local taxi for you if required. Ideal location with a well served bus stop outside to take you into the city (£2 contactless payment). Lidl store opposite, alongside a great chippy, and a good family pub. No breakfast provided but hot food from outside allowed to be taken to rooms. For those with realistic expectations looking for a cheap overnight stay (we paid £49 a night) this is a good choice. Would definitely stay again, many thanks!
