The Seaview Lodge was such a charming little hidden gem with gorgeous view of the blue-green ocean and we loved the authentic, traditional, rustic vibe of the lodge adorned with whale statues! We also loved the service from the staff, who were very hospitable and friendly and the food here was excellent, as were the drinks (especially the pina colada and blue wave cocktail!) and they did not hesitate to arrange for a most wonderful massage at the Island Glow facility. Beach towel services were helpful as we requested one before heading out to explore the beautiful beach of Tonga and they do have a washing and drying service for your wetsuits/swimsuits. We stayed in the regular room, which were equipped with AC and TV and a nice shower facility and the bed were comfy. However, the Ocean View Room which we stayed in later, was the real highlight of the show and we wished we could've stayed in the Ocean View Room longer. The balcony was definitely one of our favorite part, as we loved drinking tea (yes they provide a boiling pot) as we looked over the balcony, with an unobstructed view of the stunning ocean. The location is definitely ideal for exploring Nuku'alofa as it is only merely a 10-15 minutes walk from the city and for walking along the ocean (there is a wonderful little trail outside just across from the Seaview Lodge). If we were to return to Tonga, we would definitely be staying at this resort again, for the convenience and the view and their restaurant are the only one that is open on Sundays, which means everything else is closed on Sunday! There is also parking across and this place checks off every of our needs and we are a very satisfied customer of this facility. Will definitely return again!!
