Le Nuku Hiva by Pearl Resorts

What can I say!! This hotel is a piece of gem in a slice of heaven. I’m so glad we chose to stay here and spend a few days on the beautiful island of Nuku Hiva. The staff and service was absolutely superb. Big shout out for Dada - staff as well as guide. The location is excellent and the bungalow we have a stunning view. The bungalows are spacious, clean, well appointed And very comfortable. The restaurant is nice with great options. Definitely go for the Langoustine!! The excursions were fun and the guides are knowledgeable and pleasant. We explored a large part of the island. Just chill and forget the rest of the world.

From the moment we arrived at the airport until the moment we were dropped off, we were treated like royalty! The staff were friendly and went out of their way to help us. I cannot wait to come back! Thank you to everyone at Le Nuku Hiva for a truly unforgettable experience experience

We sailed to the Marquesas from Panama on our 42' yacht. After 30 days at sea we wanted to have a cocktail at the famous Pearl Lodge happy hour on a Friday night. My parents were wondering if they could visit us here in Nuku Hiva and so we thought we'd kill two birds with one stone by having a drink and checking out the hotel. Our experience was one of strange disinterest. "Happy Hour" was suddenly reservation only even though the bar was empty and the patio empty. The restaurant was full of people in t-shirts even though my wife and I managed business casual after a month at sea. They did get us a prompt taxi ($5 USD per Person) as we didn't want to walk the road back in the dark. We had a blast at the various Snacks (restaurants) and cultural festival (July). My advice is if your looking for actual high end accommodations you'd be better off on a different island and instead keep your Nuku Hiva experience more local. The island is charming even if the lodge is confused about their mission of hospitality.
