Hotel terbaik di Nunspeet

I can't say enough about this hotel... It's set in beautiful woodlands with red squirrels. Staff are so helpful and pleasant. I don't think there was anything that wasn't available at breakfast buffet - all kinds of juices, milks, coffees, pastries, breads, eggs - all different ways, sausage, bacon,, cakes, cereal, make your own waffles, fruit and the list goes on. The swimming pool and sauna were open from 7.00am until 11.00pm and if you wanted either outside those hours all you had to do was ask. I don't what the cost of the hotel was as we went as part of a coach trip but it would be worth every penny. High recommend.

Een aantal nachten hier verbleven. Mijn kamer zat aan de kant waar ook de airco zit. Dit geeft overlast, want je hoort heel de nacht door het gebrom... ook als je raam dicht hebt. Wat weer niet prettig is in de nacht ivm Gordijnen niet verduisterd... jammer. ontbijt wisselt ervaren, 1e dag weinig personeel gezien terwijl er dingen op waren, niet aanwezig waren zoals schaaltjes. Bij vragen om dingen, personeel niet al te vriendelijk. Laatste dag dame vulde op tijd bij, liep er vaak dus makkelijker aanspreekbaar kamers zijn gehorig, tv weinig zenders, bedden doorgezakt zijn aan vervanging toe, badkamer niet al te schoon overal spinnenwebben trap naar de kamers op 1e erg smal, lastig met tassen/of koffers te gebruiken in de eetzaal zit een verlaging in de vloer, hier een paar x behoorlijke misstap gehad dineren eetzaal erg warm, met ventilatoren proberen ze het iets koeler te maken, erg donker ingericht, personeel wel vriendelijk Over het algemeen personeel niet sociaal, goedemorgen zeggen kost moeite....

We boekten een comfortkamer met ontbijt. Positief was de prijs en de hygiëne. Wat we er zelf van vonden? Een kleine kamer waar weinig comfort aanwezig was. Het bed was goed maar kort. Als man van 1.93 lang is een bed van meer dan twee meter lang eigenlijk wenselijk maar die optie werd niet aangeboden. Het ging. Een zitje was niet aanwezig of men moest het kleine bureautje bedoelen met twee gewone stoelen? Daarentegen was de televisie van goed formaat en ook vanuit bed goed te zien. De badkamer was een lachertje. Hij was schoon, dat wel, maar in een ruimte van ongeveer 1 bij 2 meter was een inloopdouche, 70 cm breed, een klein wastafeltje en een toilet gepropt. Op de toilet kon je niet recht vooruit zitten zo dicht stond deze tegen de zijwand aan. Wat wel weer goed kwam was de hoeveelheid water uit de douchekop. Je kon lekker douchen als je stilstond. Zeep was aanwezig maar een föhn ontbrak. Die kregen we later bij de receptie toen we er om vroegen. Verder was het hotel in orde. Vriendelijk personeel, een goed ontbijt en een goed restaurant. Al met al een zeer goede prijs/kwaliteit verhouding. Volgende keer geven we iets meer geld uit voor een grotere kamer als ze die hebben.

Excellently positioned hotel for a peaceful countryside stay. The room was clean and comfortable, though a little cold, even though the outside temperature was extremely hot. I am guessing that the cabin has very thick insulation. The room was always dark under the trees, and not facing the sun, which was disappointing. Pleasantly surprised that a coffee pod machine was provided, as well as a small kettle for tea, as this is not standard on the Continent, so I had not brought my usual survival kit with me! Amazed at the huge size of the shower room, that was set up as a wet room. Unfortunately the shower drain did not work efficiently enough to counter the fact that the room floor sloped away from it! So water pooled across the room under the wash hand basin and vanity unit. This made the floor very slippery and dangerous. A large squeegee mop was provided, but it took some effort to push the water towards the floor drain. I therefore, only showered at night, and very quickly to use less water, when the floor could be left to dry out. The food was good, and vegetarian/vegan options were available. I particularly liked the breakfast buffet, where an excellent selection was set out every morning, and included sliced salad, and fresh fruit. There was only a problem one night, when the travel company hadn't booked dinner for my coach party, and I had been unable to buy food at the Floriad event which was caŕd only, and I had only euros! The hotel restaurant was very busy with another party, and the bar food too was not available....so I suffered a very hungry night. I only wanted bread and cheese, but no one would sell that to me! I often find that hotels, do not do 'basic' food, assuming that guests only want cooked! Thinking about this now, I probably should have gone to Reception to explain my plight, but I just thought it was my fault having only euros with me, and not noticing that only two night's dinners were provided. In the following days, I made sure that I always had cheese and salad rolls, as a backup! The grounds around the hotel were pleasant and the swimming pool was in an attractive wooded area. Pity though, that there didn't seem to be any shops or cafes in walking distance!
