Hotel berhampiran König Pilsener Arena, Oberhausen

Zimmer sind sehr schön. Personal sehr sehr freundlich. Das Frühstücksbueffet reichlich und alles frisch zubereitet. Das Hotel liegt Zentral, man kann zu Fuß alles sehr gut erreichen und ist direkt im Zentrum. Gerne wieder werde ich, wenn ich in Duisburg bin, dieses Hotel wählen.

Prima Standort, um Essen zu erkunden - Folkwang-Museum, Ausgehmeile Rü und die Innenstadt in Laufweite, und andere Destinationen gut mit den Öffis zu erreichen. Praktisch: Parkplätze für 14 Euro/Tag direkt am Haus. Zimmer okay, vielleicht ein bisschen bemüht hip, aber das kann ja altersbedingte Geschmackssache sein. Extrapunkte für das supernette, superfixe, super engagierte Team am Empfang!

Wir waren zu fünft im Hotel eingecheckt und hatten zwei Zimmer mit Schiebetür- super klasse. Tolles Hotel, sehr sauber, großes Bad, bequeme Betten, leckere Getränke. Super Anbindung zum Shoppen und als Musical- Hotel- so haben wir es genutzt! Kompetentes und freundliches Personal sowohl an Rezeption, Reinigung oder Bar. Auch der Shuttle Service war toll. Wir waren rundum zufrieden. Super leckeres ausgewogenes gesundes Frühstück- alles was das Herz begehrt. Von frischem Obst/Gemüse bis hin zu leckerem Rührei, tolle Brot/Brötchenauswahl sowie Tee- und Kaffeespezialitäten. Uns hat es an nichts gefehlt! Auch die private Sauna war ein Traum und haben wir total genossen! Vielen lieben Dank für den tollen Aufenthalt! Ich vergebe 5 von 5 Sternen!

The hotel is just a few minutes from the Philharmonie U-Bahn station or just a 15 minute walk from the main station and hence very nicely located. The staff are very professional and gave me a good welcome. The room was very well-kept and for the price, a good size. Excellent WiFi coverage at good connectivity speeds. Overall, a very nice stay in a very nice hotel.

Holiday Inn Express is een eenvoudige concept van de normale Holiday Inn, door toevoeging van het woord Express. Het personeel is heel vriendelijk maar onderbezet. De kamer is klein maar net niet te klein. De inrichting is modern, smaakvol en schoon. Kwaliteit bed is goed. Dit is ook van toepassing voor de krappe badkamer. Op verzoek is tandenborstel, tandpasta en scheerbenodigheden verkrijgbaar. Een kluis op de kamer is niet aanwezig. De kamer is voorzien van airconditioning. Draaikiepraam aanwezig. Merkwaardig is dat de receptionist vroeg of de kamer dagelijks schoongemaakt moest worden. Bij de receptionist is melding gemaakt dat de kamer werd schoongemaakt terwijl een niet storen kaart is geplaatst. Ook is gemeld dat een van de lampen defekt was (niet opgemerkt door de schoonmaak ploeg). Het ontbijt is heel erg eenvoudig in vergelijking met de normale Holiday Inn. Kwaliteit koffie is erg wisselend, de ene keer goed en de andere keer heel waterig. Een kleine bar is aanwezig en een computer voor gasten is beschikbaar. Parkeermogelijkheid, ook voor gehandicapten, in de openbare parkeergarage is aanwezig voor €12/dag (niet per 24 u), hierbij is de parkeergarage direkt verbonden met het hotel. Echter de receptionist gaf geen beschrijving van het gebruik, waardoor diverse malen problemen waren met in- en uitrijden. Voor ca €100/dag is de prijs-kwaliteit verhouding redelijk goed. Een late checkout kan worden verkregen bij een gratis verkrijgbare IHG-membership.

Wow. What a trip that was to the Essen Spiel convention. And what an excellent hotel we have had the luck of booking a room into. Everything was top notch. We were given a room on the second floor, right across the elevator, in room 226. That was indeed super convenient, since for soundproofing, the windows were always shut, and I'm a smoker, so it made my outside trip to the smoking area easy. Everything in the room was where it should be. Plenty of sockets to plug our electronics in, a desk to put our convention stuff on and make our plans for the following day. Water pressure was spot on in the shower, all-in-one soap was naturally provided in a dispenser and filled daily. Room cleaning was done super meticulously in the morning and the cleaning people were nice and attentive when we happened to stumble upon them. All the staff we ran across were super nice and kind, even though we were always bugging them with annoying and trivial matters. The evening shift at the bar and reception really tried their best to satisfy our bothering demands. Hats off to them for putting up with us. I feel that we may have indeed tested their patience's limits. Despite all our best - or worst - but unintended in honesty - efforts to piss them off, they didn't even lose their smile. Great job, everyone! The cherry on top was the hotel's decision to open up a big room full of tables and chairs for the Spiel attendees to pass the night once the exhibition day was over. Really thoughtful and it's one of those small details that win people over. I'm looking forward to returning to the convention next year, and I'm sure I will be booking a room in this hotel alongside my plane and convention tickets. Keep it up, GHOTEL!

Wir haben für ein Wochenende im Mai 2023, das Hotel Residenz, in Oberhausen kennengelernt. Der Eingangsbereich, um die Rezeption, war unser erster angenehmer Eindruck von diesem Hotel. Unser Zimmer war für unsere Ansprüche groß und komfortabel genug ausgestattet.Da wir den ganzen Tag über unterwegs waren, brauchten wir das Zimmer nur zum Duschen und Schlafen, von daher waren wir mit dem Zimmer ganz zufrieden gewesen. Die Rezeption war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit, die Bedienung sehr freundlich, das Frühstück war in Ordnung, der Hotelparkplatz war kostenlos zu benutzen. Wir waren rundum mit dem Residenz-Hotel in Oberhausen zufrieden gewesen, und empfehlen es gerne als Hotel mitten in der Stadt Oberhausen, weiter.

This is building with few apartments and with no reception, so this is not a hotel (name on google maps may be misleading). We rented a 3-bedroom apartment for 2 nights - spacious, modernly furnished, well-equipped kitchen with household appliances (nothing was really missing). One main bathroom and additionally a second toilet. Ample parking at the back of the building. A few minuses - we arrived late at night and the whole apartment was cold because the heating was turned off (good we all packed long sleeves pijamas). I confirm the opinions that the mattresses are soft, so not necessarily good for everyone. For such a large apartment and the number of guests it can accommodate, I missed a larger sofa / more seats in the living room, in the living area by the coffee table.

Ich bin eine gebürtige Essenerin und kenne deshalb das Hotel schon ewig. Die Lage ist zentral, gegenüber vom Hauptbahnhof und mitten in der Stadt. Die Zimmer sind je nach Kategorie geräumig. Ich finde es toll, das man die Fenster öffnen kann. Auch die Betten sind bequem. Frühstück gegen Aufpreis, dort gibt es allerdings Verbesserungspotential. Trotzdem 100% Empfehlung

로비에 자판기가 있고, 역 안에 dm이나 물을 살 곳이 있어서 너무 편리했음. 그리고 병따개가 있어서 맥주 마실 때 편했음... 드라이기도 잘 작동되고 이 호텔에 머무르는 동안은 계속 좋았던 것 같음. 객실도 사진과 똑같음.
