Oberwil is an ideal starting point for many activities in summer, such as hiking tours along the Simmentaler trail, mountaineering- and mountainbike tours, river rafting on the Simme river, visit of a swimming pools or boat trip on the Thunersee lake, enjoy the cities like bern, thun, spiez, interlaken etc. or visit a museum. Excellent location, close to the station, everything accessible by train. Simmental card available. Even though the facility was close to the track, it was quiet. The owners are very welcoming and pleasant. I recommend.
