This place has seen better days. We stayed here 14 years ago, when Pierre and Renné took care of it and really loved it. The place has been poorly maintained. The owner didn't even bother to approach us, introduce himself or welcome us. He just walked passed us as if we didn't exist. The fridge and coffee maker were broken. The pool was filthy. The website said there was a restaurant. There is not. Tge internet didn't work in our room. We had a difficult time finding staff to give us little things like toilet paper and light bulbs. During our 5 days there, we noticed other cabins didn't have running water or a working fridge. The sweet resident dog is left in the office unattended overnight. To top it all off, we were double charged and could not get a reply from them to get our money back. We are now working with VISA to get this problem fixed. Do not come here!

The reviews speak for themselves. Hopefully the owner/ manager will try and give this place some love. I suspect maybe covid or something has played a part in running this down and not enough (or not quickly enough) is being done to salvage… Positives- the grounds and landscaping is beautiful. The insects are the loudest I’ve ever heard. The space is ample with parking, washing line. Outdoor BBQ (for room 6) Negatives - owner didn’t get out of seat when we arrived despite there being bad news (1.5hr wait to sort out room- post check in time) and no cold drinks- the restaurant is shut but he just pointed out that there is a supermarket in town (I would expect any hotel to be able to provide a cold glass of water.) The room was of a very poor standard (shame as we booked for a special occasion). Quite mouldy and dark, slats missing from the window vents so heat and AC hard to manage. The main kitchen light was out and fan (which I think I read in a review in 2021) so clearly not a priority. Overall low standard to be self catering but no breakfast or bar on site. Car needed really as it would be a challenge to get food and drinks from supermarket up the gravel road for 2kms Local restaurants great and location is as described. I hope they get this place back on its feet!

Cet avis concerne la cabine N°5 uniquement - L'emplacement est très bien (pas loin d'Uvita) et c'est dans un grand parc tranquille, loin du bruit - en revanche, la cabine N°5... quand le responsable nous y a conduit, nous étions très fatigués et affamés donc nous n'avons pas vraiment regardé, ce fut une erreur - heureusement que nous ne restions qu'une nuit ! Quand nous sommes revenus, nous avons découvert le désastre : les interrupteurs étaient bruns de crasse accumulée dans toutes les pièces, pas de lumière dans la chambre sauf une lampe de bureau qui servait de support à une toile d'araignée et accumulait les insectes morts dans son "globe", la climatisation ne fonctionnait pas alors qu'il faisait une chaleur d'enfer et la salle de bain avait fait les 2 guerres mondiales, plus la guerre de Corée et celles qui ont suivi ! Bref, j'ai parlé au responsable le lendemain matin avant de partir et j'espère qu'il fera le nettoyage et les rénovations plus que nécessaires - toutefois, si jamais on vous octroi a cabine N°5 vérifiez bien son état avant d'accepter d'y loger !

Wer überlegt hier zu übernachten, sollte zunächst einmal diesen Erfahrungsbericht lesen! Dieses „Hotel“, legt anscheinend wenig Wert auf seine Gäste. Dies begann schon beim Empfang, der Eigentümer war nicht da und schicke eine Person, die auch zum ersten Mal in dieser Anlage war (laut eigener Aussage). Gebucht wurde 1x „Superiorbungalow“ und 2x „Deluxebungalow“ für 3 Nächte. Erhalten wurden 3 kleine Einraum-Bungalows. Doch das ist erst die Spitze des Eisberges gewesen. Folgende erhebliche Mängel führen dazu, dass die Unterkunft nach einer Nacht gewechselt werden musste: - dreckige, teils schimmelige Bäder, Wohnräume und Terrassen - unangenehme, harte kleine Betten (man schlief förmlich auf den Metallfedern der Matratze) - kein warmes Wasser zum Duschen! - kein Frühstück (wie angegeben), aber nächste Möglichkeit ca. +12 Minuten Fußweg entfernt (ohne Auto nicht zu empfehlen) - Laute Rasenmäharbeiten vor der Tür ab um 7:00 Uhr morgens - Vom Personal war ebenfalls nichts zu sehen, nur ein Gärtner Wer dort Entspannung sucht, muss weiter suchen. Selten so enttäuscht gewesen. Einziges „positives“, das WLAN war in Ordnung, Außenbereich (Grünanlage) ebenfalls ausreichend gepflegt.

Pesimo servicio, instalaciones viejas y descuidadas, ducha sin agua caliente, cafetera estropeada, sillas de plastico para la terraza, las toallas no las cambian, no añaden papel higienico, el recepcionista (Sr. Dillan, elude las criticas y hace caso omiso) Instalaciones y pasos con pesima iluminacion… la verdad, es economico y ahora entiendo porque. L’hôtel est très joli avec ses petits bungalows assez grands entourés d’arbres fruitiers. La chambre est bien équipée. Malheureusement notre chambre était très salle, taches sur les lits, points noir sur les draps, corps d’insectes morts un peu partout, le sol de la douche n’avait pas été nettoyé (pleins de cheveux) et à notre arrivée nous avons appris qu’à cause du Covid le déjeuner ne nous serait pas servi
