Hotel Olbia dengan Tempat Letak Kereta

It is a real four star hotel ( nice pool, nice rooms, …) but the catch is that the air-conditioning is not only loud but also often defective, resulting in a sauna night with a big headache in the morning. Even with mild temperatures, you would not want opening your window facing the loud street and the balcony lighting 24h on. The breakfast has the particularity that you are served at your table, which could be seen as a plus, but the staff ( very numerous by the way) are a bit confused and stressed out with the orders. You get 80% of what you ordered and the rest belongs to the other customers. I required some additional bread, once.. twice… three times and gave up. Customer satisfaction did not seem to be the priority. The swimming pool was the only part that really relaxed us. The reception was very effective and professional. The centre of Olbia is mainly ugly. Only the shopping street is attractive but very loud at night. This could explain why this hotel is fully booked weeks in advance. Maybe the best ( or less worse) choice indeed in Olbia.

When we arrived at the hotel room, we were astonished, as it was really big - at least 50 square metres. We felt ourselves really well. However, as we have travelled in Sardinia quite a lot now, then it is typical that you do not think about heating. You fall asleep in a warm room, but wake up in cold, as the sun does not heat the room any more. The hotel is in a good location - close to Olbia Terranova train station and not too far from the city centre. In conclusion, the hotel is not a disappointment. For this money - it is impossible to get a room spacious like that anywhere.

Hotel was probably grand in the past but is a bit run down now and only adequate for a short stay. Found it a bit soulless, limited staff in the bar, small pool restaurant. Buffet breakfast was good. Accessibility to reception is difficult with heavy cases or for those with limited mobility due to the gold flight of steps. Room was ok, a bit worn and no view other than the railway. Someone else staying there had bed bugs, but ours was ok. Note: hotel is located on the edge of Olbia and is a long walk to the centre with restaurants etc - at main road junction turn right to town, walk through the run down district and cross the rail level crossing (be careful here as no footpaths) to reach the centre and harbour which is all as you’d expect for Sardinia. Again not great for anyone who isn’t fit/ mobile.

Hotel de estilo clásico y muy bien mantenido, perfectamente ubicado frente al mar, la noria y el fantástico y gratuito Museo Arqueológico de Olbia. El desayuno es abundante y variado, y su personal una joya. Vistas excepcionales desde su terraza en el 6to piso, accesible con el ascensor.

El Hotel Martini mantiene la esencia y la autenticidad de un establecimiento hotelero de categoría: elegancia, limpieza, ambiente relajante, detalles en todo momento y espacio, etc. Pero lo más notable es su personal de recepción y restauración. La recepcionista Marzia Balsamo es absolutamente excepcional, no solo es cordial y atenta, sino que se esmera por dar el mejor servicio. Sin duda, volvería a alojarme en el Martini si vuelvo a Olbia, un hotel que aunque no esté en el mismo centro, tiene paradas de autobús en la puerta que te conectan en 20 minutos con el aeropuerto, así como un bello parque y excelentes vistas del puerto, gracias a una impresionante terraza desde la cual se puede desayunar, cenar o tomar una copa.

Pros: - great location in Olbia - Rooms are clean - Nice balcony area on roof, with plenty of seating and great views Cons: - breakfast is limited, with little variety - the beds are quite hard - the air conditioning facility in the room was unreliable - the spa area - to our discovery - is not part of package and thus not free to use! To note - re spa area. We were only made aware of cost incurred after we had used it twice. No info provided in advance about cost, nothing of note in room and no mention when requested initially. Hotel tried to get us to pay for use despite them admitting they had made a mistake in not providing awareness. Owner tried to guilt trip us into paying, leaving very sour taste when we left. We were very disappointed and slightly shocked with the unprofessional behaviour shown. The rest of the staff were lovely! Overall, we were slightly disappointed considering the cost, compared to previous 4 star stays in Italy.

The first room we where given smelt of drains but the second one was much better and they upgraded us to a balcony which was much appreciated, breakfast was lovely big choice well organised, cocktails in the evening where great! I would visit again. The town is just a short walk
